Oooh....you actually liked them? I thought they started tasting nasty after a few chips. They have that disgusting sweet raw garlic aftertaste. >.> I so wanted to like them. I'm going to go get the Sriracha flavor next time I hit Walmart. Also, it looks like Sriracha will win to me...it's very popular in all the polls.

Um, well, I haven't tried any new foods other than that lately, but over my life I've tried eel, sashimi, Ethiopian, Chinese, Vietnamese, Mongolian, Indian....dunno how to go to specifics. It'd take too long and too much brain power. XD

They sound mighty interesting! I want to try them because I love garlic and cheesy poofs. I think it's the perfect combination. A match made in heaven!

Anyway, yesterday I tried the "superfood" Goji Berries. They are like nothing I've ever tasted. It's kind of bland and bitter but then it changes to just nothing. It's not pleasant but it isn't too unpleasent. You can only have a handful a day (well, it's recommended) and they are the antioxidant equivalent to one banana, half a cup of raw broccoli, one cup of watermelon and one carrot.

To each there own Fate and I think that Sriracha is a chaines hot sauce. sorry can't spell somethings well. I never tried them berries before but I have tried real blue berries. before when I was still in jr high school I did not like them. I like the fake ones more to be honest i think they are yummy.

We occasionally buy punnets of blue berries and sometimes frozen one. Like you, I much prefer fake blueberry taste! I remember trying a blue berry for the first time and going, What why is it so different. It was such a disappointment, haha.

Yes, to each their own, Sailor. :)

Sriracha is a hot chili sauce from Thailand that people use on absolutely everything. I like it in very small doses because I'm pretty intolerant to heat...

I tried Indian food for the first time last Friday, I've always been scared to try it because I can't handle spicy stuff at all. There were some really good dishes, but I found I couldn't even eat half of the stuff because of the spiciness. My favorite was the chicken makhani, which was chicken in a tomato cream sauce :D

Oh, I've had Greek, too. :) There aren't that many major cultures I've not had food from.

Vietnamese is one of my ultimate favorite foods. I make it at home all the time.

Also, Indian doesn't need to be spicy. I always order mine mild because that's just how I can take it.

I'm kinda a foodie. I love to try new foods all the time.

I've had corn and cheese ice cream which was not bad, but it was disappointing because I thought it was mango.
xD Does it count as trying new things if it was unintentional?
When I went to the Philippines, my cousins almost had me try balut (fertilized duck embryo that's boiled in the shell).

I tried venicin for the first time. It was in Taco salad... I didn't know it was. I actually enjoyed it. Probably because it was covered in taco seasoning. XD

Home made chai latte and chai tea.
I need to get the exact recipe for the latte so I can make it for my significant other.
Maybe the tea too, since I'm not sure he'll like the latte.

I love food. My boyfriend also loves trying out new foods and restaurants so we have to be careful not to make each other fat.

Last weekend I tried a new taiyaki flavor. Taiyaki are fish-shaped cakes that are usually crispy on the outside and full of hot, usually sweet creamy filling. I have the regular flavors (red bean, custard, black sesame, etc.) every so often since there's a shop not far from my house, but this time I had taiyaki full of strawberries and custard. I can't really describe how delicious it was.

A friend made me a seitan (wheat-gluten) wook meal with mushrooms and stuff last week. Unfortunately I didn't like it much. Since I'm veg I wish I had liked it. My friend loves it. I might give it a few more tries, maybe if it's in smaller pieces in something, I should probably try without mushrooms as well.... hm

I recommend it! But it's much better when it's fresh so it's hot and kind of crispy outside. Squishy taiyaki isn't nearly as delicious.

My most recent new food experience would be taho, made by my roommate. It's warm soft tofu covered in sweetened tapioca balls and sugar syrup. She says it's meant to be eaten during the early mornings. It's so sweet! >w< The tapioca gives it a nice chewy texture which I'm rather thankful for, since I normally don't like eating tofu due to its smooth (and in my opinion, boring) texture. Our other roommate tried it and dubbed it 'hummingbird fuel' due to its sweetness.

Yeah, I really like living in Japan. It took me awhile to get used to it, but now I think I might stay here for the long term.
