Cassidy turned, smiling at the blindfolded woman brightly. "Homegrown, you say? Hmmm..." she said, taking another sip. "It really does taste how the soil here smells...." She tapped her cup before jerking her seat, blinking gray eyes in surprise. "Oh! How rude of me! My name is Cassidy Weatherby," she said, extending a hand. The blonde girl barely seemed to care that the other was blindfolded. In fact it was as if she didn't notice the other's supposed handicap at all. Or her companion.
Cassidy's eyes darted only for a moment to the other, her smile fading slightly. It had faded to a near line at the sight of the wolf by the woman. Wolves. Why was it always wolves? But these wolves weren't him so there was no real reason for her to distrust them so now was there? Nope. Not at all. It didn't really stop her though.

Krinn stood quietly at Di's side while she got him checked in and handed him the key. He held it tightly in his hand for a moment before slipping it into his pocket. He remained silent when Di spoke to the girl that was sipping tea, he sniffed the air almost experimentally, catching only a hint of the tea's scent. It was not one he could easily identify, he didn't drink tea often though what teas he had tried he did like. Water was his beverage of choice most of the time, though tea usually didn't run freely in forests the way streams and rivers did. Krinn shifted on his feet slightly, watching the girl as she held her hand out to Di, he frowned. Wondering if he should help, guide Di's hand to the girl, now introduced as Cassidy. If Di didn't need the help, she might take it as an insult, and Krinn didn't want to offend her.
Jack purred softly at Mei, thoughts of the past already fleeing from his mind. Why think of depressing things when one could be partaking of some very fun, non-depressing things? His purring seemed to grow louder as she kissed along his cheek. She was his, and he loved her. It didn't matter if she was female or male or neither, she wasn't just someone trying to use him for his delicious body. Things would be different with her, he could tell, there was already a faint stirring in his lower body. She was his, and she would be the only woman he could ever do this with, of that he was certain. He shifted beneath her, his head moving to capture her lips as he moved to lay down on her back beneath that tree. Eyes half lidded and his hands began to roam along her body as he deepened the kiss. He had missed her, missed her voice, her scent, her touch, everything about her far more terribly than he would care to admit, but he was sure she could tell that already. It was in the way he touched her, the way he had gently laid her down and the way he deeply kissed her.

"Dinnae Faervell, but most people just call me Di." She said cheerfully in response, giving the other woman a warm smile. She tilted her head to the side slightly, not noticing the hand at first but rather the swish of movement. She sniffed the air once to confirm something and then slowly let the warmth of the other woman's hand guide her too it. Di's gentle handshake would be slow, but confident as she found the hand with practiced ease. It was easy to forget her blindness watching her... unless of course you caught that first moment's hesitation.
"You should really try all the teas here. They really are wonderful... I adore tea though so perhaps that's just me. This fine gentlemen is Krinn by the way." Di responded, her voice briefly having an almost dreamy quality as she spoke about tea. She laughed softly as she finished before adding the bit about Krinn. She was unsure if he was quiet for a reason or because he was unsure if he should. He seemed such a polite creature, if a little shy. She held the hand shake a moment longer, the slight chill of her touch likely evident as if she'd come in from snow even though not a flake fell outside. She then withdrew it, satisfied it seemed by the girls handshake.
Mei felt herself startled by the passion meeting her own, having been certain there was no way he could truly want her in any form.... that to anyone else she could just be Mei, not him or her or it, just Mei. As he kissed her she couldn't help but wrap her arms tightly around his shoulders and press to him, almost to happy to bare. She whispered her love again softly and pushed every bit of passion into her kiss and the soft strokes of her fingertips. Nothing mattered to her but him in that moment, not even where they were beneath the trees. She lost herself in the moment and in him as eveything faded to black in passion and heat as two bodies melted together beneath the night sky.
(( XD and here I thought her gender issue would cause drammmma >.>........ seems they're just as bunny rabbitish as ever ))

Cassidy shook Di's hand with a firm vigor, fingers tensing only slightly at the first contact. The woman was quite chilly. Almost dead. Curious. "Pleasure to meet ya, Di!" she said, pulling her hand back. "And...you as well Krinn." She blinked idly at the male, giving him a long and critical, almost distrustful look. But she soon smiled at him in kind, chuckling idly. "Quiet aren't you? Come now little wolf where'd your howl go?" Her voice was low, her smile crooked.
Her face lightened though as she turned back to Di, teeth white between her lips as she grinned. "I'll be sure to keep it in mind! Though I'd much rather take a look at this garden and brew any tea myself. I have a very special way of making it...maybe you'd like to try sometime?" She tilted her hand, running a finger along the rim of her cup, the tea seeming to idly whirlpool in time with her movements.

Krinn nearly took half a step back, his body tensing slightly as Cassidy gave him that long, critical look over. It was almost as if she didn't trust him. For half a moment he frowned, then shook his head slightly at her question. Where had his howl gone? No where, just stuck in his throat. There really didn't seem to be a need for him to speak, he didn't know anything about tea, so he couldn't offer any bits of conversation about growing or brewing it. Besides, the ladies were speaking with one another, even if he did have something to say, it'd be rude to just interject. Wouldn't it? Krinn shifted on his feet and glanced around the room, for his own safety, he wondered where the cat had gone. Probably hiding in the shadows to pounce on him when he least expected it.

"I do understand that well, tea brewed yourself can be very nice. I can take you through the garden here to the tea when you like, it is a beautiful place and I enjoy it so much. It is a nice place to sit and think as well, though i spend much of my time dancing here though I do not think many watch me I enjoy the work. " She said softly, admitting it with a chuckle as if it amused her. Her dancing was beautiful, enchanting as one would expect but the people drawn here often seemed to have heavy hearts and equally supernatural grace or were too concerned with treasure to think of much. She supposed if she glittered with gold perhaps they would pay more attention but she danced more for herself then others. Dancing, music, it was life to her as much as breathing. She seemed distant a moment until she thought of something.
"Would either of you like something to eat? I can promise the food is good. The bartender can be a bit insistent about things being just so but he is a marvelous cook." She said softly, giving both a warm smile. She heard the male shift and one hand reached out to touch his and give it a gentle squeeze. It was a simple reminder that she had promised protection it seemed though she let go quickly. Her wolf like canine, meanwhile seemed to have been ignoring everyone. He only looked up as the girl eyed him, twitching an ear and wagging his tail much like a dog would. For a moment he seemed less like the ruthless protector and more like a big chihuahua puppy. He then lowered his tail as the girl determined he was harmless and sat, as if satisfied. the dog liked being trusted it seemed.

Cassidy smiled wide, chuckling. "Hmm a dancer eh? I'd like to see you perform one of these times," she said, smiling. "But until then food does sound nice. It's been a while since I've eaten anything other than I have rationed in my bag here." She gave a quick glance to her luggage, a quick check to make sure it was there. It's cargo was precious, all she had outside of her cabin and woods. It would devastate her greatly if she were to lose it.
She gave Krinn another sharp glance, noticing his slight apprehension and his glances about the room. "Running from something, my dear?" she asked, tilting her head. "No need to be shy about it, I certainly won't tell."

Krinn's attention shifted from the room to the girl, Cassidy, when she spoke at him. "A cat." He spoke the words softly, a simple and truthful even if unelaborate, answer to her question. Those lilac colored eyes blinked and he looked at Di, she had also asked a question. "I'm not hungry." Again he spoke quietly, this woman Di was being too kind. It was unnecessary, in his opinion at least, it had been nice to talk to her. It had helped some of the weight in his heart lift, but her offer of protection, getting him checked in and offering food was all unnecessary. He truly didn't need her protection, he could fight, it was for the nekojin's sake that he hadn't fought back. Krinn had no wish to hurt Jack. Once again those eyes danced across the room for a moment.

Cassidy's face twisted into something very much like amusement, her breath hitching as she suppressed a chuckle. "A...cat?" she managed, voice breathy as she held back her chuckles. "Well...that was...certainly unexpected." She lifted her cup for another sip, smile vanishing slightly. It had cooled considerably. A pity. "I was expecting one of the Huntsman's servants if I'm to be honest..."
The cup was placed back onto it's plate with a click, Cassidy's smile curling back onto her face."I'm not going to ask what happened, but certainly this...cat can't pose too much of a threat?" she asked, waving her hand in a motion to him. "You're a wolf. Certainly you could overpower the rambunctious feline if things get too hairy." She snorted quietly at her own little joke, still trying to hide her amusement at the fact that a wolf was afraid of a cat.

He had expected such a reaction. A wolf running from a cat, it was rather comical. Krinn watched Cassidy for a bit and then shrugged. He hadn't heard of this 'huntsman' and dismissed that bit of information as unimportant. Krinn was deciding just how much he wanted to reveal before he spoke. Di knew the situation, and Krinn didn't really want to talk about it anymore, still the girl was right. He was stronger than the cat when it came to a test of physical strength. "I don't want to hurt the cat. It's for his sake that I run, not my own." That was true enough, and saying that meant he didn't have to delve into details.

Cassidy's face twisted again, the emotion practically unreadable. It seemed a mix of bewilderment and disgust. "So...you don't want to hurt the creature that wants to harm you?" she asked, voice thick with disbelief. "Wow you're not much of a wolf at all are you?" She raised an eyebrow, her smile gone.
"Unless...you did something? Did you do something?" she hissed, voice low as she tilted her head. "Or...is he just a bully? I'm....not a real fan of bullies..." She glanced away, eyes gaining an almost rusty sheen. She tapped the rim of her cup idly, a mess of thoughts beginning to run through her mind, tongue darting from her lips ti lick idly at the knitted scars that dashed across their left corner.

Krinn grimaced slightly. 'Not much of a wolf'. Well, he was truly human, just cursed. Perhaps that was just more of his human nature showing? It didn't really matter what this girl thought of him. Not truly. "He isn't a bully, he's angry at himself and taking it out on me. That's all." It was true, Krinn wasn't lying, but he didn't really want to delve deeply into the subject. "He's not a bad cat, it's just easier for him to blame someone other than himself. So I won't hurt him, he's hurting enough on the inside." He watched her closely for a moment, then those eyes were glancing around the room again. Krinn was still thinking it was odd the cat hadn't come at him again.

"That is what bullies do, wolf," Cassidy practically wheezed, her voice having gone low and dry. Her eyes were hooded now, staring off into the bar with a nasty rust-colored sheen. "They're unable to face what they've done so they take it out on someone else. They hunt them down and hit them and hurt them because they look different or they're just in the wrong place at the wrong time or they just happen to be able to do something that can't be explained and are punished so severely for it..." She trailed off, fingers wrapping around her cup, squeezing tighter and tighter...
Until there was a sharp crack and her blood was dribbling out of her fist as cold tea spilled out onto the counter top. She opened her fist, looking down at it with big blinking eyes, the sheen gone and a surprised look on her face. "Oh..oh okay ow!" she started, the dryness in her voice replaced with the bounce from before. "Haha...oh uhm...does anyone have a cloth?" She asked, hissing in pain as she began to pick the shards of porcelain from the palm of her hand.

"You misunderstand..." Krinn began softly, then the cup had broken. It was apparent to him that this girl really did not like bullies. Though he wasn't sure what kind of bullies she had been up against. Krinn didn't have a cloth, but he moved anyway, to kneel next to her chair and take her hand into his own and inspect the damage with a slight frown. He had broken a cup much the same way earlier, but he didn't share that fact with her, instead he ripped a strip of cloth from the bottom of his shirt and began to gently wrap it around her hand. "He's just having trouble facing the fact that you can't always save someone, besides, it's better for him to vent on me than it is for him to vent on someone he might actually kill. It'd be far worse for him if killed someone while in that state of mind." He tied the cloth gently around her hand, lilac colored eyes sincere as he looked into her eyes.

Cassidy blinked owlishly as Krinn bent to inspect her hand, opening her mouth about to say something. She stopped when he ripped his own clothing to wrap her hand, smiling slightly. "Oh well...haha thanks!" she said, smile widening. It faded lightly as he continued to speak, sighing through her nose. "If you're afraid for your safety it's not best for anyone. Especially not whoever died...I don't think they'd want to be remembered that way..." She blinked down at him, but soon sighed. "Fine I suppose he can do as he wishes...but I will NOT hesitate if I find him assaulting you for any reason. Understand?"
She left out the part where she wasn't sure if she'd be able to even stop herself. She couldn't stop herself most times. Similar things have happened before. She'd find someone assaulting another, she'd lose her head, she'd black out...and then she'd either awake in her Labyrinth with it's odd angles and unnatural colors and erratic flow or she would awaken alone with blood on her hands and her wand clasped so tight that she wondered if the old sickle had fused to her skin. Those were terrible moments. Horrible and disgusting for everything involved.

"I'm not afraid for my own safety, I'm afraid for his safety and his state of mind. There isn't much I can do to help him, he won't listen to anything I say. Still, it is far better for him to take it out on me, I can handle it better than others, if need be I could restrain him without hurting him too badly, but I've no wish to harm him at all. You shouldn't interfere, I would hate to see you harmed." His fingers lingered over her hand for a moment, then he pulled away and stood slowly. "But I appreciate your concern for my well being." He offered her a slight smile. There was more to Krinn's curse than just him being a wolf, it was also extremely hard for him to die. He could be killed, yes, but not exactly by conventional means. Still he kept such information to himself.

She might have informed the other danced every night but the bartender had called her away a moment to give her a message. She nodded and whispered something back before she returned to the other two. She froze a moment as she neared them, the scent of blood swimming through her head and senses. The therian shuddered as she suppressed the always hungry kitsune within her, one hand gripping the leash of her wolf hard enough it was a wonder her skin didn't break and bleed itself. She had already been exposed to blood today but the man's wolfen nature had protected her some what as it said 'predator, enemy' not 'oooh.....food' with it's scent. It was little blood but enough to have difficulty..
"My dear, you must be more careful. This will help..." She said softly, as she forced down the hunger. She placed one of her enchanted handkerchief next to the other woman on the bar, it's power would help stop the bleeding and suppress the smell to replace it with the rather flowery, fresh rain smell that surrounded Dinnae herself. She would then step back, keeping a careful distance. Perhaps she would have to shift and hunt later... She turned to sit at the bar, asking for more tea.

Cassidy rolled her eyes slightly, lip sticking out in a near pout. "Hhmm we'll see..." she murmured, turning her head as the woman returned. She had barely noticed her gone to be honest. "Hehe something wrong there sweet cheeks? You look a tad strained..." Her lips curled up, voice low and amused. She cast a quick glance to the wolf at the woman's side but ultimately kept her attention on the other.
She blinked as she was handed a handkerchief, holding it in her good hand gingerly. There was...something odd about it. There was magic sewn into it, harmless magic, but...she bit her lip, placing it back on the counter before moving her injured hand to the inside of her coat. "Thanks but...not thanks. I can handle this myself. I should...probably go on up to my room get this cleaned out." Her smile had gone shaky, grey eyes darting between the woman and the handkerchief restlessly. Healing magic never worked well with her, never sat right in her skin. It always made her uncomfortable and restless. And being restless was a bad thing for her. It led to people getting hurt. Led to despair.

When Cassidy spoke of going off to her room, Krinn moved slightly. Almost as if he had intended to follow her. The wolf had no such intentions though and merely picked up the handkerchief lightly in his fingers, giving Cassidy a slight nod before he turned and moved towards where Di now sat the bar. Gently Krinn took one of her hands in his so that he could delicately place the handkerchief in her hand. Then he slipped onto the stool next to her, resting his elbow on the bar top and his chin in the palm of his hand.
Jack was basking in the warmth and glow of his lover, much the way a cat might bask in sunlight. His arm was around Mei and he was rather content to stay like this forever, just cuddling and holding one another. The nekojin was purring as well, like a content cat. He nuzzled her neck and licked her earlobe gently, not trying to get her all excited again, just showing his affection for her. Honestly he had enjoyed their romp far more than he had imagined he would. It had been oddly refreshing, but he figured that was how it always felt when one was reunited with their love. "Mm. Koibito." His arm around her tightened, almost possessively.

"I'm alright my dear, but perhaps you should clean that out. Wouldn't want to leave some glass in there too long." Di responded with a warm smile, suppressing the fox predator within. She didn't move, however, and looked a little tired. She squeezed the handkerchief as it was returned to her, the grip emphasizing that somehow her fingers seemed slightly longer and more slender. She pushed it asides as the wolf sat next to her, tilting her head towards him. She was surprised he was next to her but she said nothing.
Mei had exhausted herself more then she'd expected, her body shivering slightly as if cold. She pressed back into the feline man's body, snuggling into the warmth. She whimpered at the tease of his tongue, her arm sliding to rest over his. She chuckled softly as he spoke, absently thinking he was just too tempting for her own good. She leaned back a moment so she could twist and kiss his cheek, leaning her head against his shoulder slightly. The tightening of his grip surprised her and absently she wondered if he was afraid she would disappear again. Absently she gave his hand a reassuring squeeze, even if part of her worried about what emi would do next.

"Haha yeah...glass..." Cassidy breathed, clenching her fist in side her coat. She needed to stifle the bleeding she could handle a few pieces of glass in her skin. What she couldn't handle was her own blood. Ever since....well...ever since THEN her blood had been something to fear. After the initial spillage it began to...thicken and it always tasted like acid and ash. It always looks like ink when she let it run for a while. She bit her lip as she excused herself, beginning to saunter her way away from the other two, keeping her hand secure in her jacket, her bag held tightly in the other. She needed to get up to her room, up somewhere safe to take care of this. She had already almost lost it. She was still so wired she could feel it. She needed to be somewhere where she could feel secure it was the only way to stop what she would knew would happen if she lost it. She'd have to construct a Labyrinth and she had no way of knowing how the magic in this building's old bones would react to the magic of her Labyrinth.

Krinn sat quietly next to Di, with his chin resting in the palm of his hand, but his head tilted towards her somewhat. Watching her, observing her a bit. Now that he was truly paying attention, she did seem a little strained. After moments of silently watching her, those lips parted and he spoke softly. "Are you alright?" A bit of concern touched at the edges of his voice, as if he was trying hard not to sound too concerned.
Jack nuzzled Mei gently, purring at the kiss on his cheek as he kept her close. They probably should return inside, go up to the room he had acquired far earlier, but Jack wasn't ready to move yet. He was very comfortable right there with his Mei wrapped up in his arms.
