My main issue, and a rather bad one, is that I cannot hold storylines. My mind wanders too far off, even if I plan out a story and write brief summaries about the chapters. It was mandatory to take a simple writing class in my school, but we were given topics and just made our own characters.
I was wondering if there are good outlines that help, or if my overly wandering mind simply isn't cut out for writing, and should stick to drawing.
I can draw and write captions to my drawings that depict a story, but not a story to depict my drawings. Making various characters and worlds isn't an issue for me. But the storyline drifts, lags, or goes far too fast. I hardly go far into one before realizing that.

Sounds like you lack of focus...
Do you have a objectives or goal of some sort for the story?

Yeah, I have ADD and my brother has ADHD.
I always set out a main goal, and then sometimes smaller goals first, but still my mind always drifts and they end up doing things they didn't need to. I always daydream, so my mind drifts and so does my pen.

Attention Deficit Disorder and the ADHD is ADD with Hyper Activity. Very low focus.
And now my turn for a question, what is that method? I don't think I've used it, unless a writing teacher employed it without me knowing.

I see...

From what I understand about this Snowflake method, it is a growing strategy.
Say. You start with a sentence.
Then you slowly develop it by adding more details into it.
How To Write A Novel Using The Snowflake Method
Here is a link, they should explain better than I do.

Oh, I rather like that setup. I'll try it, and if it doesn't work, I suppose I'll post here again.
Thank you very much for giving me this way of trying to get my story set up.

Just pick up the ones that seem to work for you, don't feel that you have to follow strictly all the steps he had done.
A method could be break down into smaller parts, take what suits you.

Good luck~
Hoping you would share some of your story.
