Say pigeons, and here I am.

On my phone so I haven't seen the video. I'm sure it's goofy, but animal testing turns my stomach. They can't consent, and many are brutal, being painful or detrimental to their health.

NO NO!! -slaps self- Do not read the idiot comments!

The people who comment on The Mail online are like the Conservative version of Youtube commenters...

I think it's cruel.

Anything done to any creature that can't consent to it is cruel. : / To me the "they don't understand what's happening" arguement that a lot of people use is not relevant, though. Because anything an animal does for the first time they don't understand. If they do the same thing again themselves, by choice, then they weren't scared by it, and I'm quite sure that there would be occasions, in the wild or a domestic setting, where an animal would play in a weighless setting by choice. But probably not that many.

It all comes down to the fact that humans do things to animals because if they did it to other humans complaining would ensue.

I hate the fact that because we're the "superior" species, we think we can do WTF we like to any of the others. We're not superior, we're just more technologically advanced; not the same thing at all. We're pretty inferior to be honest, I mean does any other species behave in the appalling ways that we do?

I first saw the video of the cats and thought that looks funny, but then saw poor thing bounce off the roof, and thought actually, if it was my pet it wouldn't be happy one bit.
@jelly I do think it is funny when people state we are superior than animals, I acknowledge we are animals, and we don't have the right to do as we wish with creatures. However we are different in that we can understand that we are different, and that gives us a responsibility to look after and be the guardians of this world.
We are animals, so have the right to utilise other animals for resources etc... Just as other animals eat or take advantage of others and us too. But we should have respect for that animal and treat it with dignity... I hate animals killed for food and wasted! Can't abide it, one of my biggest hates! Going to slaughter an animal fine, but use everything up, so I've no problem with what goes into my kebabs or sausages lol. If someone ate me, I'd hope they'd use me all up!

Yes. Animals eat each other, it's a fact of life, and we're at the top of the food chain so we eat everything else. The difference between us and any other species; is we kill other species for sport, and other trivial shit like decoration and fashion. Every other species kills to eat.

I've got no issue with wearing fur. If it's using up a part of an animal that would have gone to waste otherwise. But breeding wild animals, in bad conditions, then killing them and throwing away the body because we only want the fur... urgh. As a species the human race does so much that totally disgusts me -.-

I agree, like I said killing an animal and not utilising it is terrible, like bloody shark fin soup! And yes I hate killing for sport, needles death. So I love it when in Spain you see videos of the bull jumping into the crowds and mauling spectators! Get his own back!

Haha, do meet one of the many spambots! This seems to be the latest thing from the sub-continent. Signing up and making extremely random posts for no comprehendible reason.

It's cruel, poor things can't speak so they can't consent like someone said above me.
I mean would it be funny if animals decided to do that to us?
haha Actually that would be funny if they did that to us. But humans are big clumsy things that
are clearly asking for it.

Hmm very odd *pulls out shotgun! and blows spambot away*

Shoot first, ask questions later

What would be the point? I guess other sites, you may try to connect with the spambot, that would eventually take you to a site or try accessing your details?

You'd think it was something like that. They're either gonna try and sell you something or steal your shit >< But we've yet to come up with a logical reason for this latest rash of them as all they do is make these random comments in bad English. They're all from Pakistan, someone there thinks they're onto something, for sure.

I don't see the point in doing things like that at all really. I can only imagine them being rather stressed...Everything they know about moving and reacting to their environment has been altered, and that can only end badly for them in the end i think. It's just messing around for the sake of it. I can't imagine anything useful would come out of such experiments.

I think the videos are a little funny. XD I feel more sorry for the birds because I feel like they're putting in more effort, but ah~ I happily assume they were all safe and sound afterwards.
