Well, in Chinese myth, all dragons have a pearl. Maybe a story where your dragon shapeshifter loses their pearl and my character finds it? Or something like that?

I have other ideas too, but when you mentioned dragon shapeshifter, that's what came to mind.

I love the idea! If you have any links explaining/about those myths, I would love to read up on it. How old would our characters be? Where would this take place at? Any preferences you have?

I really don't have any links. I had seen it in a movie. Gimme five minutes with wikipedia and I'll look it up. I have a feeling mine would be normal human age, and yours could be whatever you want. And since I am totally obsessed, I'd like it to be medieval times. Nothing really special, unless you want some kind of war or something. And I'd prefer to play a girl, unless you really wanna play a girl. Then I'd be okay with it.

Sounds good! I'm cool with playing the guy, I'm playing a girl in my other RP right now, so I think I'm ready to try out a guy :P

I am so in love with the idea that I haven't gone beyond that. I think maybe taking Katara from the Avatar: The Last Airbender would be fun. Or perhaps Umi from Magic Knights Rayearth. Or perhaps Sailor Jupiter from Sailor Moon. Or perhaps Rina from Mermaid Melody. Or perhaps Erza from Fairy Tail.

You lost me after Mermaid Melody, for sure some things I'll have to look into!

One of my old friends and I did this, and we basically had ourselves and 1 canon character who was kind of "assigned" to us to keep us from dying in other worlds. Though we can do something entirely different if you'd like. :)

Oh very nice, I really like that idea! I think I am leaning towards Erza from Fairy Tail. Fairy Tail is an anime show and it has absolutely nothing to do with fairy tales. It is one of my favorites.
