Also, I think if you google baseball game outfits or search for them on Pinterest, you'll find out that the outfits are mostly just really casual fun comfortable outfits. They're not meant to be overly elaborate, though you might see some people who have gone to games in some strange attire. So long as you submit a reference, you should be fine.

Steel, thanks! I made it last night half asleep. I don't know if it's finished or not because I started to conk out after I added the tiara and didn't really do anything to the head.

The tiara makes it pretty darn balanced.

Really it could be any summer-associated game. Cricket is year round I think? and I know a eensie bit about it. but from what I gather the US Baseball uniforms are loosely based on cricket uniforms, minus the shin guards.

Your baseball fan is adorable! Your background is really cool, like your fan is in the outfield waiting to catch a home run.

The biggest issue I see is that you and fireprincess look a bit similar. The shoes, the blue shorts, the red/white top, and the hat. Maybe you two are at the same game?

I love that you chose to try a baseball card! I didn't think of that at all! I think your entry will definitely work better with a reference picture, though. My first thought was: "If it's Babe Ruth, why isn't he in black and white?" (most photography of him is grayscale) and then my next thought was "Why a solid color background?" It wasn't until I saw Babe Ruth baseball cards that I realized what you were going. It's pretty stinkin' great. The only suggestion I have is changing the color of the shirt and hat. Ruth was most known for his time with the Yankees, and a lot of baseball cards have him wearing a Yankee's uniform. He'd be wearing a blue hat and striped white shirt (though I don't know if we have striped shirts). If there's a specific card you're basing your entry from, then I suppose my critique is invalid. ;)

neller: my research has been via a hodge podge of images so I am not trying to completely replicate just try and capture the essence, like most cards I found there was a plain background. I was hoping mene might have like a vintage or gray overlay but alas not! I wasnt sure on the colour I saw him wearing both blue and red so here is a blue version what do you think?

She's tailgating in a parking lot

If you wanted to make it look grayscale then all you have to do is use black/white/gray items instead of colored ones and use gray skin. It's pretty quick to do.

Ok, I decided to go with another theme in case tailgates,for baseball isn't a thing, so here she is in the top row of the bleachers watching the game. The fence is so people don't fall out, and the glass is there to keep the balls from flying out and hitting people/cars. The blue arrows are pointing to exit(s), and the Mene sign is what row she's in. What do you think?


The strings/chains are there to "hold up the signs" because I couldn't find anything else that would work

Yours is MUCH better than mine. You'll most definitely do better than me. It was more of a sudden realization that mine looks like a poorly made copy and I'm just too exhausted to do anything about it.

I didn't have the fence there, I had other items/backgrounds, but the fence is my newest version. Oh no, I knew you weren't accusing me. We're all good. I'm sick too with a major case of sleep deprivation, so I definitely know where you're coming from. I was a little confused, but I understand what you mean now

I didn't even know you could get it from gelato

It's a bad batch.
Probably it was a Listeria infection (one of like six bacteria that can cause food poisoning). Listeria can grow even in the freezer.

Alright. I'm sorry. You had mentioned Babe Ruth and he has such an iconic look. I was just suggesting you towards that direction. I think I like the blue better. But Suona had a good point about grayscale avatars:

I definitely like the first of the three! And I think people do tailgate. Any events with large parking lots leads to tailgating. But baseball isn't known for tailgating like football. You more or less get your popcorn or hotdogs in stadium.

I really like the first two of these! You've created a stadium so well. It's really too bad those arrows only work with the chains. I'd suggest created a double sign version without the mene sign to see how that looks.
