Oh gosh, yeah! And what kind of trading they're do sounds like it'd be important, too.
I think the humans should be more skilled in crafting arts and fine foods while the elves are gifted with machinery and weaponry. I'm not too sure about special abilities like enhanced sight/strength, though.

Also! Do you think we should chart the development of the romance a little bit, like when the feelings start to develop and whatnot?

The way I see elves they are not into machinery or weapons. they are beautiful and love surrounding themselves with beauty. Art, fashion and gardening are then things I see them doing. Think Lothlórien from lord of the rings for their home.

I commonly play the elves with longer lives, telepathy, some times they have magical abilities that help them work with the plants and jewelry that they might make.

I was thinking that we could just let it move at its own place, no plotting out the romance.

Yeah, that makes sense. It'd play more into the elves thinking humans were barbarians. Should we start linking each other to photos or drawings of what we're picturing for the scenery? I kind of winged it on my first post, but it'd be a better idea to have a reference, probably.
