I dunno how much newbie-eating happens here but if you're wondering why I didn't include the attack 'Eat', it's because I may be fresh meat, but I'm def not edible meat
I'm not really into pokemon but my bro is and he treats me to long rambles about pokemon; his enthusiasm isn't ever dampened by my obvious quarter-attention Sometimes I watch pokemon walktroughs with him because I like the commentary.
I can already tell my time here is going to be ossum (so awesome to the core that I can feel it in my bones
My username is intended to symbolise that I dream a lot but I can also fight
As you can prob tell I like emotes. I also like hangouts more than regular threads because I like a continuous conversation where I reply to you, you reply to my reply and I reply to your reply to my reply
I avi sites, roleplaying, music, sleeping and large libraries.
I've found that on many sites the Newbie Welcome forum is the least visited, because nobody seems to know what to say other than a 'welcome here' and that can get awkward. And c'mon, a 'welcome here' is very nice to hear but it's kind of boring. Y'all can say anything random to me, and lessee if we can pick up a convo. Like you can say 'Welcome to Menewsha! I love chocolate.' and I can reply, 'Thanks for the welcome :) I like dark choc more than milky, you?'
Yep, I'm weird by a lot of people's parameters and I tend to make a fool of myself, but hey, I'll believe that makes me a more exciting person!

-rummages on Youtube- Here it is!

yanyan13: happy memeories, right?

You're so right about the limited and awkward welcomes! You guys out there pay attention, newbies notice! :P Weird is the new cool, there's a lot of weird here, so you'll fit right in!

Dandelions are my favorite flower. <3

But it sounds like you'll make fast friends here - I think most of us are a bit quirky. ;]

Thanks for the welcome everyone! So far it's McDonald's motto <3
jellysundae: That vid
It's dead funny, but I'm wondering how wise I was to so boldly declare
my noobity
Ooh that's Totoro in your signature I LOVE him and his movie!
Antagonist: Yay for emotes that vid had me rofling too.
I've come across a lot of people who draw their avi for their signature.
But this is the first I've seen of someone dressing up like their avi IRL,
such a cool idea.
Whimzica: Yeah, dandelions are totally dandy
What about your fave animal? *fingers crossed it's a lioness :P*

Oh Yan only eats naughty noobs, not cute newbies, don't worry. I hope that statement won't come back and bite me on the ass.

My sig is love, isn't it? Another example of how my avatar has way better things that I do! If I had a Totoro that was that big and cuddly... -sighs happily-

Haha that's not actually me in the signature; my avatar's actually the one that's dressed up as the guy, one Misha Collins, in the picture. The picture's from his and his wife's wedding vow renewal event at a grocery store.

jellysundae: Naw don't worry I know that spam belongs in a spam thread. And I know gay means homosexual, so I think it describes a sexual orientation but CAN'T describe the colour pink, low-carb diets, or Mene.
There was a Totoro in Toy Story 3 and I was like OMG OMG
Antagonist: Oh... I've proven my statement that I tend to make a fool of myself already?! Well anyway thanks for giving me a good idea.
The Wandering Poet: Thanks :) No prob. That video does leave one at a loss for words XP

The Wandering Poet: Yeah there was... it wasn't prominent though 'cause it had no dialogues, it was just being kawaii and silent. It was in Bonnie's house, I think. The house where Woody uses a computer?

In the credits? Really? THAT'S SO CUTE three cheers to that
I lurve Totoro! I saw the movie dubbed as well as in Japanese with English subs. Totoro's cuter than Pusheen
Imagine though: if someone put their username as 'Totoro' and went trolling

I saw My Neighbour Totoro (the dubbed) and Whisper of the Heart back-to-back at a sleepover at my family friend's.
Later I asked my Dad to get it for me and he got the subbed. It was slightly weird after seeing the dubbed but I always prefer subbed over dubbed so... I watched it with my Dad and bro. I still have it in a pendrive, shall save it and show my kids when I have some

I prefer subbed over dubbed too. But I can't watch dubbed unless the dub is good which is extremely rare.

I think my favorite of the Ghibli films is the borrower

Okey-doke... I know what to watch next o3o.
You watch anime/ read manga? Do you listen to J-pop? (A LOT of people listen to K-pop... I don't really mind music of any language so I listen to C-pop too a bit and being Indian and all, a bit of Indian music.)

I listen to anything that's good no matter the language.
I watch anime. I recently finished Magi ("finished", not sure if it's done yet)
I don't read manga though, as I'd prefer to read it on paper.

I know you can stream the borrower one online somewhere, but I forget where.

Ok, so you don't get manga in their book form in your country either? (YAY... I mean, bummer.)
I don't think there's enough demand for manga in India for Indian bookstores to stock it. I sometimes daydream about starting my own bookstore exclusively selling manga. It would be called 'MangaLore' (and it would be set up in Mangalore, a city in the south.) and it's catchline would be 'for the manganese soul.'
Hmm I might recommend select Indian songs to you sometime.

Oh we do. Just that buying them would be far too expensive :(

if you find it would get enough support and save enough money you should totally follow that dream

I'm not familiar with anything indian. unless that turak turak or whatever song was indian. I dunno I just remember it had a weird video.

That's :(
I don't suppose your public libraries have manga? (Prob not... people don't count them 'serious reading' and librarians prob think manga spoils reading habits. Of course, it does sometimes, like my bro got into comic books and now he doesn't have the patience for regular books.)
0_0 I don't think that's an Indian song or I would've heard of it lol. Of course when I search for it there seem to be many versions so maybe there's an Indian version.
Sorry to dump this on you but you could check this out sometime when you're bored
The rap sucks but everything else in it rocks. It's a great first Indian song to hear. Oh, and it sounds best with headphones.

Wait what why is she rapping English. it totally throws the entire song off o.o
Not bad though. Not that I have any idea what is being said.

my reading habits aren't spoiled. books just suck these days. we're stuck with twilight and 50 shades as "quality books" and Tolkien and Brian Jaques are gone :(
it's no wonder people role play their own stories
I'll admit I don't ever go the the library.

IKR, authors are trying to make books more 'casual' and 'readable' which is why we have shit like Junie B. Jones and Diary of a Wimpy Kid. I like being quite descriptive and, um, a bit flowery when I write because it makes it more vivid in my head. And I've always got this little bit of fear at the back of my mind that if I overdo it people won't read my story because it won't grip them, or they'll think of my stuff as purple prose even though it's not really but it is relative to their reading experience and they'll hate the language and leave my story... it's not always easy to write for yourself
Oh, and I think she's rapping in English because she grew up in UK although ethnically, she's Indian. I know a lot of Indians who grew up in UK, USA 'cause their parents migrated there because of STEM and some of them don't know their own mother tongue, and actually pronounce their own names with an accent *pukes*
Glad you found the song OK though :) (I can't understand what's being said either because I don't know Rajasthani, only Hindi, Telugu and English.) What kind of genres in music do you like?
