Personality
Calix is a quiet person who normally doesn't speak to anyone around him no matter who it is. He doesn't care much for how high a person is in the world, however; even though he maybe silent alot he has a kind soul who would help anyone in need no matter who they were. His biggest flaw however, is the fact about his sister's death; whenever the memory is brought up anywhere at all, he normally loses sight of all his emotions and depending on how it was spoken about is how he reacts to it. Most of the time when it is spoken badly about his sister, he will lose sight of his anger and attack everything and everybody in the nearest area he stands within. Other than that, he normally shuts down and starts to cry terribly. The only reason for his kindness is due to the fact that his only memories of his twin sister is that he knew she'd always want him to be kind no matter what ever happened to her.
Weapon(s)
A large scythe that is normally wrapped in multiple bandages to make it look as though it were a staff that he carries around at all times, when the blade is revealed it is a dark crimson color. He also carries around a pair of twin pistols; one that once belonged to his sister being white while his own being black; both of which have what looks to be the infinity symbol carved onto the side of each one of the pistols themselves.
Bio
Ever since Calix was born; all that he could remember was being raised within a small Earth nation orphanage along with his twin sister; who was three years older than him. Throughout the entire time he and his sister lived together at the orphanage, the two were treated differently by the other orphans due to the fact that they were unable to use any sort of bending at first since they never learned how to do so on their own like the others did. The adults that took care of the orphans still treated them just like all the other children although had a bit of resentment about the two twins because of the same reason. As Calix grew older over the years with his sister; as children his older twin sister would always make sure that no matter who got in the way, she would always protect him. There had been multiple times as the two became actual grown children that Calix was bossed around by the other kids and even beaten up by them; but no matter what happened, his older sister would always come over to protect him.
The day that the two had realized about their bending being different since Calix actually used Earth bending while his sister accidentally did water, the two were excited enough to know that they weren't all so different after-all. They did question the fact that why his sister was able to use water when they were born within Earth nation; but didn't let it get in the way of their lives. The only major problem was several days later; assassins kept coming after his sister to attack her, trying to force her into her avatar state and then kill her. Each time she would return to the orphanage to meet her little brother; she would be bleeding and bruised from head to toe but she would always tell him that everything was okay and for him to not worry too much. Obviously enough, no matter how much his sister told him so; Calix would only worry more and more.
One day, as his sister went out once more; Calix had ended up following after her to see why she always came home so injured. Most of the day he followed his big sister around the city, he found nothing different of her daily life being just normal and such; the instant she was attacked by the assassins however. He immediately came out of hiding to try and protect her; only for her to get distracted and seeing as how her brother was severely injured right at his eyes to the point that he was nearly blinded forever since she saw him bleeding from both his eyes and crying. That sight, bringing forth rage inside his sister's heart and forcing her into her avatar state. What she hadn't realized was the assassins had planned to make her go into that form as they killed her right on the spot; opening his eyes only to find his sister had been stabbed multiple times straight through her chest by multiple blades brought fear and a traumatic experience to the eyes of Calix. The instant he witnessed the death of his sister; his mindless rage filled his heart to end up causing him to go into his own avatar state to kill everyone that stood before him and his sister that day. Unable to be able to escape the young boy's wrath to mention anything about there being two avatars that day; after killing the assassins, Calix had passed out by his sister and found reawakening back on his bed at the orphanage.
Thinking that it was all a nightmare, he had went in search for his sister only to be told by the adults that the avatar; his sister was killed for the safety of everyone. Ever since then, he kept returning to his sister's grave each and every day to have his prayers for her. To this day, with the war going on due to the nations thinking that the avatar was finally killed for good; Calix continues to be unaware of what he can do or let alone what his sister would want him to do.
