Karin
She goes to school the the trio and takes the same classes as Riku, since she is the same age as him and just as smart. Karin is as normal as you can get, she cannot fight and wishes to stay that way... But what happens when she begins forming feelings for the silver haired teen, and he and Sora have to go off on an adventurer? Does she stay in the city with Kairi or secretly follow the two to be with Riku?

Kaz
Kaz is a little like Roxas, even though she isa nobody she has the ability to feel as if having a heart. Kaz was born before the collapsed of Castle Oblivion, though she grew on most of members of the O XIII rather quickly. She was sent off on a solo mission, and came back shortly after the castle was destroyed. She vowed to find the one responsible for the death of her family, assuming that everyone had been brought down along with the castle.... Kaz goes on her own adventurer, to find the boy called Sora and to make him pay for what he had done.

The day was Tuesday, school was in session. Karin sat in back of the classroom next to Riku where she always sat. Taking notes like she always did. Today was just a normal day. And that's what she liked. Karin glanced over at the silver haired male when he looked troubled. "Riku... You've had that face on all day..what's wrong?" She said to him as a concerned classmate. She gently ran her fingers through her short coco colored hair and sighed quietly. "I know you and your friends traveled a lot but right now you need to focus on your school life." She said to him quietly.

Sora and Kairi also had classes together. But since they were a year younger then Riku, they were on different floors of the school. Kairi was taking the class seriously while Sora was being Sora... He was staring out of the classroom window while the teacher yelled his name five times before giving up and calling on somebody else. Kairi looked back at the brunette, slightly confused. Her friend was more spacey than usual.

After everything that had happened over the past few years, Riku still found it hard to adjust to normal life and even harder to focus on anything school related. The wanderlust was kicking in again, he wanted adventure and not being stuck in a classroom all day but.. it was a shame the worlds were no longer connected. Everything that happened was just a memory.

Only vaguely paying attention, it took Riku a moment to realize someone was talking to him. Looking at the girl beside him and listening to what she said, all he could do was sigh and nodd in agreement, he did need to focus on school not but it was difficult. What he wouldn't give to see the King again.

Laoise was another one not paying attention, though this was nothing new for her. In a few days time she would be competing in a tournament and though she'd been to more than she cared to remember, she still found herself getting excited in the days leading up to it. She was sat at the back of the classroom watching in amusement as the teacher tried in vain to get Sora's attention.

Karin glanced over at Riku for a moment with soft blue eyes, before looking back at the teacher and continued to take notes and such. She was normal, and she wanted to stay like that for as long as she could. Too bad the teacher announced a field trip that they would be going on in three days- giving everyone time to prepare. Karin nearly dropped her pen. Would her parents allow her to go? She had missed out on every school trip- not this one. Riku and his friends were back home and she wanted to get closer to Riku... This field trip was for senior and junior classes.

The teacher in Sora's class finally gave up since no one wanted to give an answer and moved to the next top of the day, the field trip. Sora's attention instantly focused on the teacher and the brunette suddenly stood. "Where are we going?" He asked curiously. The teacher sighed and looked at him. "You will all find out the day before the trip." The teacher answered. Sora frowned and sat back in his seat. Kairi forced herself not to giggle.

School was over soon and Sora hurried out of the room to go meet with Riku. Kairi smiled and followed him at a more comfortable pace.

Karin gathered her things and turned to leave the classroom without saying a word to anybody.

It didn't take much persuading for Laoise to get her parents permission to go on the field trip. Her tournament was the day after and the trip would be a good way of settling her nerves and helping her relax before the big day. Though she didn't know where she would be going, it would certainly be more interesting than sitting around school all day staring out of the window.

Friday morning came and Laoise arrived at school ready for whatever the day would throw at her. Her mother had made sure to pack her a substantial lunch and her father had given enough munny to bring back something to remember the trip by. Excited to see just what the trip was going to be, as soon as the bell rang, Laoise was one of the first in class and seated.

Riku had managed to get permission too, his parents seemed to think going on a field trip might help get him back on the path he followed before he went travelling. This trip was one of the few things that had managed to pique his interest since his return and he seemed happier knowing his two friends would be going too. He hoped they would be able to spend some time together, just like the good old days.

As the bell rang Riku joined his class and took his seat. Once everyone was present and correct, a register was taken and the class were briefed on where they were going. A museum? Could have been worse, he supposed, at least he'd have Kairi and Riku to talk to.

Soon enough, the coach to take them to the museum arrived and the class were told to gather their things and board it.

Karin had the worst night ever. First she got to sit through a two hour lecture from her parents, then she didn't get any sleep because she kept having nightmares and lastly, she almost didn't make it to school before the trip because her alarm didn't go off. The only bright side was- she got permission to go on the trip. Her father even gave her money to spend. When Karin got to the school, she apologized to the teacher for being late and took her seat beside Riku. She wasn't going to give up on being noticed by him...

Sora and Kairi were extremely happy to be going on this trip. Both of their parents agreed without a second thought on the matter. They could finally spend some time with Riku- but only if they were in the same group. This but the brunette down. Kairi tried to cheer him up, but she knew nothing would help until he knew what group they were going to be in.

When the coaches arrived and the students were told to board, Sora gently took Kairi's hand to make sure that they wouldn't be separated in the flood of students trying to get in the front of the coaches. Stupid. They brunette just hoped that Riku would wait on them before boarding, so that maybe they could at least sit together.

Laoise met up with a few friends and together they boarded the coach, taking a seat towards the front where fewer people were fighting for seats. Looking forward to the trip, she was soon settled and looking out of the window, eager to get going.

Riku was one of the first to leave the classroom when dismissed. It was doubtful that they would all be put in a group together seeing as they were in different grades, but he was going to do everything in his power to at least be able to sit by his friends on the journey there.

The male was soon outside and it didn't take him long to find his friends in the crowds of students pushing one another to get on the coach. Moving through the crowd with ease, he soon caught up with Sora and Kairi. From behind he threw an arm over each of their shoulders and stuck his head between theirs. "Miss me?"

Karin moved through the group of kids that rushed to the coaches. She got pushed around a little due to being as small as she was. She managed to make it to the coach and claimed a seat in the very back. Karin then took out a book and started reading. She just hoped that they made the groups based on ages- then she and Riku would be in the same group~

Sora and Kairi jumped when they suddenly felt arms around theirs, and they looked at him. Kairi smiled sweetly at him, but didn't get a word in before Sora opened his mouth. "Riku!" The brunette chirped. "Dude, can you believe that they're doing this to us?" He semi-complained to his older friend. Kairi giggled and gently nudged him in the side. "Oh Sora, you just don't like anything about school. Not even the trips." She teased.

Kairi looked up at Riku. "I already know who you're going to be paired with- I caught a glimpse of the charts before we left the classroom." She said to the silver haired teen. "Sora and I will be in a group together with some other kids, and you'll be grouped with a girl named Karin..and some other classmates. Groups of four, I think it was..." She said, smiling. Sora was pretty happy too.

Riku had to laugh at Sora's complaint. Even though it was a trip away from school for the day, he still didn't like it. Sora really hadn't changed much. "I'm sure the trip will be much better than a day in the classroom." Patting his friend on the shoulder, he walked around the two of them and onto the coach, wanting to make sure he got a decent seat before they were all taken.

"Doesn't matter who I'm grouped with, I don't plan on staying with them all day." Riku said looking back to his two friends with a mischievous smirk. "I'm great at sneaking away unnoticed."

Sora looked up at his friend with big innocent blue eyes, much like an adorable puppy. Kairi gently nudged the silver haired boy. "Riku, you should try to get to know her. She seems like a pretty cool girl." Kairi said to him, hoping to change his mind. They needed some extra friends, or at least she thought so. The two of them quickly followed Riku onto the coach so that they wouldn't lose him and have to sit with some strange kid...

Sora saw an empty seat and instantly claimed the window seat. Kairi would sit on the outside, so that Riku could sit in the middle and the brunette and herself could both sit next to Riku.

"Well why don't you go and make friends with her then, Kairi?" Riku settled in his seat between both his friends and stretched his legs out in front of him. As the last of the students boarded the coach, he looked around to see who else was on the trip with them. Tidus, Wakka and Selphie were seated a few rows in front of them, it would be good to catch up with those three again too, he hadn't really had the chance to since his return.

"How long's this trip going to be? These seats aren't very comfortable." Riku sighed, wriggling around in his seat to try and get comfortable.

Kairi rolled her eyes playfully. "Riku~" She complained, then giggled a little. Sora shook his head lightly and hung an arm around the back of his silver-haired boy's neck. "She's a book-worm..." Sora mumbled quietly. Kairi thought for a moment. "The trip shouldn't be more than an hour- and that's without traffic." She said to him. Sora sunk in his seat. "Kairi, why do have to be so smart?" He whined with a child's attitude. Kairi giggled a little.

Laoise woke with a start to find a pair of golden eyes watching her. In the dark of the alley she couldn't make out just what it was that was staring, but the chill it was sending down her spine told her immediately that it was not to be trusted. Sitting bolt upright she... realized she was no longer in the museum. Where was she? More importantly, how did she get here? Those questions would have to wait, she'd just caught sight of two more pairs of golden eyes watching her from the shadows and decided that she had to make a move before more appeared.

Light could be seen at the end of the alley, from a street light perhaps? She hoped so, because if there was a street then there would surely be other people around, right? Right. Slowly, so as not to startle the.. now four sets of eyes watching her, Laoise rose to her feet and keeping a slow pace, began to walk towards the light at the end of the alley. After only a few steps she could hear rustling behind her and risking a quick glance she could have sworn the shadows behind her were moving. This had to be a dream, shadows couldn't move on their own.. could they?

Karin slowly awoke and sat up, looking around with curious light blue eyes as she tried to remembered what happened. She remembered jumping through a black portal after her partner and his friends..why though? Karin stared at the golden glowing eyes that seemed to watching her every movement, not moving an inch more than she already had. "Hello?! Is anyone there?!" She called, being as still as possible. God she hoped someone heard her.

Sora slowly awoke after suddenly being knocked out. His blue eyes slowly opened and he glanced around the area. His eyes going wide once he realized they were no longer at the museum. He sat and looked around for his friends. "Riku, Kairi!" He called to them when he saw them lying motionless. Guess they got knocked out too. Sora slowly began to stand when shadows began appearing around the area. "Guys..." He called once again, calling his key blade to his hand just in case he had to fight.

Kairi winced a little before coming to. She was in so much pain she couldn't hardly move... Her blue eyes slowly opened, everything was blurred. Had she hit her head? "What happened....?" She asked quietly in a groggy voice. Sora glanced back at her, a short breath of relief escaping him. He went over to her and carefully helped her to her feet.

Just when she had convinced herself this was a dream, she heard someone calling out for help from nearby and debated whether to investigate or not. If she found the female calling out perhaps she had information on where they were? It was worth a shot, if she stood around here much longer then there was no telling what those shadows behind her would do.

Doing her best to ignore the moving shadows, Laoise headed in the direction of the voice and it didn't take long for her to find the female she assumed responsible for the call. "Are you alright?" She asked, approaching the other female, ever watchful of the glowing eyes around them.

Riku began to stir after hearing his friends voices, slowly he opened his eyes and they began to focus on his new surroundings. This wasn't the museum. Blinking, the male sat up and looked around. Hadn't he been here before? Seeing the shadows moving around the area, Riku jumped to his feet and called his own Keyblade. "This isn't good."

"Not good enough for you?" A deep, female voice boomed around the area before a shadowey portal opened before the trio. "If only you knew the trouble we'd gone through to make this happen." Adel stepped through the portal and towered over the three teenagers before her. "I've travelled forward through time to find you." As she spoke her gaze settled on Kairi and a disturbing smile spread across her lips.

A second portal opened and a second woman stepped out, though more feminine than Adel she was just as imposing. "Let's hope you have more luck with this one than you did the last one." Ultimecia laughed and looked over the group. "You must be the one she called Sora." She laughed again and looked at him. "She's going to have fun with you." Then her gaze moved to the silver haired male. "But not as much fun as you and I are going to have."

Karin had backed herself away from the creatures until her back was pressed against a wall. She watched the moving shadows with fearful light blue eyes, whimpering quietly. Her voice only lasted enough to yell for help when she did. What was this place? Why was she here? How did she even get here? Upon hearing approaching footsteps, her eyes darted to the direction of the source.

She gazed at the girl when she became visible and a small breath of relief escaped her lips. "I think so... I'm not dead..am I?" She spoke, just enough for the other girl to hear her.

Sora and Kairi focused their attention to the women as they stepped out of their portals. Sora growled at Adel's words, and stood protectively over Kairi when a disturbing smile spread across her lips. Kairi slowly began to stand, with the help of the brunette and stood behind him. Scared. Sora then looked at Ultimecia, glaring at her and her remark. Who was going to have fun with him? He growled.

"We can't have that, boy." A third voice echoed through the space around the trio, causing Sora's eyes to widen. He knew that voice. It couldn't be though... Could it? Just as the thought crossed his mind, Maleficent appeared in her famous green smoke/ flame. "I wonder... Who's going to help you now?" She asked the brunette in a sinister voice. Sora could only stare in awe. They were trapped, a witch for each of them... Was this going to be the end?

Were they dead? If they were then this would certainly be hell, thogh no hell she'd ever learnt about or pictured in her mind. Those moving shadows were creepy but at the same time they were rather.. cute? Like soft toys brought to life in shadows..

"If you're dead then that means I am too, at least there's safety in numbers." Though if they were dead what did safety matter? Shaking those thoughts out of her mind she stopped a few feet away from Karin and the shadows. "They don't seem to be dangerous.. at least not at the minute, try and walk around them." She said, holding out her hand and beckoning for Karin to come towards her.

Three witches.. one for each of them. Two of the three he didn't recognize but the third.. Maleficent! All three of them had history with that particular witch and she'd been difficult enough to beat on her own, throw in two more witches and it really wasn't looking good for the trio, was it? There was no help coming and they were surrounded. Ugh. He spared a glance to his friends, Kairi seemed terrified and Sora was ready to protect her. Feeling eyes on him, Riku looked back to the witches to find Ultimecia staring intently at him and things started to become.. hazy.

"There is no one coming to help you and soon your friends shall abandon you once more. Come with me, child." Ultimecia offered her hand to Riku, her gaze still focused on the silver haired teen who seemed to slowly have succumbed to her magic. With a vacant look in his eyes, Riku's keyblade disappeared and as though possessed, began walking towards her. Pleased that his mind had been so easy to take over and control, a malicious smile spread across painted lips the moment his hand touched hers.

Karin couldn't help but to let loose a small dry laugh at the girl's response to her question about being dead. Not because it was funny though..oh no, it more a nervous laugh. If nothing else, at least she knew that she wasn't alone. Karin gave the stranger a small nod when she mentioned stepping around the black fidgety creatures and slowly pulled herself to her feet, with the help of the wall.

Once standing, she took the girl's advise and stepped around the creatures as she made her way towards Laoise.

Sora glared at the witches in front of them, while Kairi took a moment to turn her gaze to the witch focused on Riku then looked at him with worry in her eyes as he seemed to slipping away from them. "Ri...?" She asked in a soft whisper as he fell into the grasp of the one witch's magic. Sora glanced over at him and lowered his keyblade. "She's lying! Riku, don't listen to her!" He called to him, in vane. Kairi had to look away, she couldn't believe that he would fall so easily..or maybe the witch was just that strong... Both thoughts frightened her. Sora raised his keyblade and went to attack Ultimecia, in raged that his friends and himself were going to ripped apart once again.

Maleficent caught the brunette in a tangle of flames that would not burn him, laughing. "Still so exasperating... Haven't you learned when you've lost, boy?" She spoke to him in a cold voice as she watched the brunette try, and fail, to fight off her flames. "You and your friends will fall to the darkness..willingly or unwillingly. Fighting will do you no good." She barked. "Give up!" Maleficent said to him in a dark voice. Sora soon stopped struggling and just stood there as Maleficent walked towards him. His eyes were still burning with anger.

Kairi watched her friends, scared. First Riku..now Sora... She slowly moved her gaze to Adel and slowly rose to her feet. She wasn't going to try to fight, not with her friends already out of her grasp. Kairi began to walk towards the first witch that had appeared before the trio, her blue eyes settling on her feet.

Laoise kept a watchful eye on Karin until she was up and moving, then her gaze turned back to the shadows, she was unsure of exactly what they were and what they wanted but she hoped that they wouldn't see the two girls as a threat and just leave them be.

"I've seen you around before, haven't I? Were you on that school trip too?"

Adel watched in amusement as both Riku and Sora were claimed so easily by the other two witches, men were always so easy to manipulate and anger. But in order to accomplish her own goal she needed Kairi to come of her own free will, kidnapping and force hadn't worked well in the past for her and this time she was going to try something different.

"Giving in already?" Adel smirked as the female of the trio willingly started walking towards her. What other choice did she have? Riku's mind was no longer his own and Sora was.. tied up. They were the fighters of the group but Kairi.. had potential too and it was this potential that the witch wanted. "A pity. But I have so much to teach you and when I'm done, you'll have no need of boys to protect you."

Karin stood next to Laoise and nodded. "Sure was." She answered quietly. "I think I'm a grade above you, that's why we haven't met." Karin said quietly as she watched the strangely cute black creatures. Karin looked out into the distance for a moment. Something was terribly wrong... "I don't think our lives will the same after this day..." She murmured quietly, glancing at Laoise. "I'm Karin." She said introduced herself to the schoolmate.

Sora growled at Maleficent, then glanced at Kairi with wide blue eyes. He looked at the blackness that gathered around his feet. "We're just supposed to give up and let you do what you want with us?" He asked quietly, his eyes narrowed in anger. Maleficent chuckled darkly. "Now you're getting it, boy."

She was silent as the witch spoke to her. The red haired female knew she was being taunted. What good would it do her to get riled up? None. Kairi looked up at Adel. "I can fight on my own just fine." She mused, more annoyed then anything. She wasn't much of a fighter, but she could if and when she needed to.

I feel really bad for having to say this but I'm not going to be able to carry on =( My grandmother received some bad news from the doctors last week and between caring for two elderly (and now one sick) relatives and working full time I no longer have the time to give this site as much attention as it needs. I enjoyed our roleplay though and it was nice talking to you =) I'll see you around maybe.
