There have been times when I waited for several minutes only to be moved to another room and told to wait some more. I've heard momma on the phone for hours because she kept getting transferred and put on hold. Way to go, cable company.

It isn't my planning skills that make me regret it. I plan and host all of our family gatherings. It's the unappreciativeness and added input from people I don't like. Plus, all the new special demands. It makes me feel as though I'm not really planning or hosting the baby shower, but instead doing all the work and footing the bill.

Waiting sucks when usually you're waiting ages for someome to serve the current person, but then it takes like a second for them to serve you. Oh god, Beng put on hold is horrible for one, I domt want to be on the telephone in the first place!

Ahh that's wha happened to my friend, she put her self out for her cousins bridal shower to organise it and like you I assume picked up the bill for it.. She got no thanks at all. Her cousin was such a bride zilla.

Exactly. I won't be putting myself out there again. My friends said I should tell her that I don't want to be involved anymore, but I think that would just cause too much anger and tension in the family. It's just a lesson learned, I guess.

Sadly so. I just hope when it's your turn they help you out with anything.

We will see. Though, seeing what she likes for her baby shower makes me question her taste. She's all cartoon-y childish type decorations. I prefer more classy, elegant adult things.

I realize I eat too many starches which is really bad for my teeth.
And I need to add more healthier foods.

Good luck with your new diet. It can be hard changing your eating habits. I did not know that starches are bad for your teeth.

Foods high in starches can cause tooth decay as well as sugar obviously.
And Because really, foods that are starches is all I eat with barely any protein or veggies, I think it's time
that I really start changing my eating habits. So I am making a list of what not to eat and what I can eat.

You don't totally have to cut out starches but for me, I want to cut out most starches. Having it not everyday you know?

I see. That makes sense. I don't generally eat too many starches. What I do eat is in moderation. I eat a lot of fruits and protein but not enough vegetables, so I'm starting to force myself to drink V8 juice.

Yeah. My teeth are easy for decay though because

I'm not big on V8 juice. I'm okay with the strawberry banana V8 V-Fusion, but the straight V8 takes some getting used to. My husband buys the Spicy Hot Low Sodium and adds salt and pepper to it. He also adds sriracha to his, but I don't eat or drink sriracha.

I think I like all of the juices.
Especially the smoothie ones. Those ones are so good.

But one day I would like to try to make a smoothie with v8 juice.
