An NPC. A creepy-ass shopkeeper who sells the weirdest gear. Need a gris-gris?

You are totally a boss the party can fight. You're technically optional, but the forest they put you in has a confusing map and you are very much a difficulty spike. You will scare the crap out of first-time players who've been breezing through. :)

A forest guardian that only appears at night and finding you is quite tricky! You offer to give the player a helping hand in finding their way around by introducing them to one of your little ghost friends.

you would be an NPC that wanders through an old town like the little homeless matchstick girl or something. depending on what the hero says to you/how the hero interacts with you, you could offer them a sweet rare item towards the end of the game

You would an NPC that guards a forest. If the party helps you run some of the villains forces out, you'll give them some rare ingredients.

You're the secondary boss, the evil god's general. The one you have to get through in order to kill the boss.

You're the hero of a 1st-person rpg game with an intricate sideplot about romance. :^)

You would be that one hilariously annoying crazy villain that pops up from time to time just to make sure the heros don't get too cozy in their egos.

You would be the fetch quest giver. "Bring me a specific item and I will give you the treasure stored within!"

You are 100% the protagonist. You're way too flashy to be a minor party member even if you're not the player character. You are a permanent addition to the party, and the player will sorely miss you if you aren't with them.

you are the guardian of a mirrored gateway that the party has to cross to move on with the quest. you make them fight you and if they beat you, you grudgingly let them pass.

You are the otherworldly goddess that guides the hero through their skill tree, and grants them with their first powers.

I would say that Bearzy would be one of the NPCs who happens to be a bartender or shopkeeper. So, the playable character will visit Bearzy to buy or sell items. Or, maybe he will send you on missions or quests to obtain a certain ingredient or item for him.

You would be an NPC from one of the aquatic kingdoms. You give out helpful items and advice to the hero's party in exchange for items.

The goddess that grants the player their magical powers and sends them on their way.

bearzy would be a side character that joins the party half way through the game and is quick with a spell or a little bit of thievery from the baddies. you go, bearzy!

You'd definitely be a warrior NPC, or a companion that joins the main party! A warrior princess whose kingdom is in the forest, whose symbol is a yellow flower. Strong, and definitely a fan favourite >.>

You're the love interest that gets kidnapped by the badguys at the beginning but then when the hero gets to you, you've actually already broken out.

you would be the welcoming NPC! It would be a video game where you could travel to many different areas, and every time you want to go to Menewsha, you would approach this friendly NPC to board the train

and now for sal, well you look like a character that is optional and it's a special side quest to get you to join the ranks. the party has to beat you at break dancing (a succession of rapid button mashing in proper order on the screen) and that shit gets hard! It's well worth it though because IF the party can best your break dancing skills, you bestow upon them a special group move that combines a break dance attack for significant damage. go you!

Linnea makes me think of a ranged character from a game like League of Legends. One of those games where you can change your character dependent on your party, but definitely a multiplayer one.

Bearzy, your avatar looks like Hagrid from Harry Potter! I think your avatar would play a hero in a video game spin off in which Hagrid saves all the animals and goes on his own quests in Hogwarts :D

so you remind me of those wishing lakes in the older harvest moon games. i want to throw in a coin so that i can see the lady of the lake come out and grant (or not grant if she is feeling particularly ironfisted). thanks for taking me back, sal!

Linnea makes me think of a warrior type character from an rpg. You would probably specialize in speedier attacks that let you slip through enemy defenses.

An NPC that is killable but really does no harm except for being creepy looking. And for the price of the most sentimentally valuable thing in your pocket she will tell your future.
