Hi everyone, is there a reliable website where I can quickly sell old books? Specifically, young adult novels and textbooks.

I have large piles of them just sitting on the floor under my desk collecting dust. I would like to get rid of them. I will toss them out as a last resort, but I will try to sell them first. I don't know of any place to donate to that is close by, as the local library closed down many years ago.

Thank you! <3

Well, if you feel like dealing with shipping you could always sell them on amazon or ebay. If you have thrift stores like Goodwill nearby, you can donate them for a tax break. Are there any used bookstores nearby?

I usually end up going the used book store route myself. Most of the book stores I've given my books to would give me a bit of store credit in return and then I could get more books. Everyone wins.

I don't know of any used bookstores in my area unfortunately.

I am not familiar with selling online on amazon and ebay, but I heard that there is a listing fee for those sites?
