Sweet jesus can it get any colder out ?!?

Its -14 below out right now. Colder if you add in the windchill.

And then I fell on the way home and basically face planted in the snow.

If I can't find a ride to work tonight I ain't going. I dont care if I get in trouble. It's too damn cold and too damn icy.

@Chryso: Oh wow, I'm glad she's okay! I would be terrified if something like that happened to one of my family members.

@Kay: -14!? Is that in Celsius or Fahrenheit? Though neither are particularly good, they're both freezing.

Can it be spring yet?

I bought some pasta salad from the kitchen at work before I left. Went to eat some. It was partially frozen.

@Ant: Yeah, she was really lucky! (sans pneumonia, anyway) She's a smoker, so her oxygen levels were rough, but she was able to get off of the ventilator and back to normal surprisingly quickly. I'm just glad she's okay...

@Kay: Frozen pasta salad does not sound appetizing.
Reminds me of those people freezing their jeans out in the snow in upright positions.

Someone in one of my groups posted a weather pic from North Dakota and it was -48. And where my bf lives its been -30 and stuff. So yeah, it can get colder lol -14 is probably like summer to them xD

I woke up with my head SWIMMING in mucus. Again. I hate this so freaking much you guys. Why am I always getting sick???

oof that's the worst. i totally feel you, i have chronic sinusitis which basically means i never don't have a sinus infection ksdgdsg

I've mostly got allergies, but it's mild so it isn't too bad, aside from having a blocked nose oftentimes.

What happened in it?

I didn't realize it was your clown until I'd woken up, in the dream it was just a terrifying existence.

I don't remember much of it, but I was in this old manor and there was an ominous-looking door leading to a dark, windowless room and further into the room there was a tunnel leading to I dunno where. The manor itself was just an empty house (nice wallpapers and light fixtures though, I remember trying to turn on the lights but they'd only emit a tiny glow), but inside the room there were five (I think?) entities that were supposed to represent something like the four horsemen of the apocalypse or something. I was creeped out by most of them but the clown was the most terrifying. It had like aura of darkness surrounding it and that sneer on its face was just something literally out of a nightmare.

Anyway I freaked out a bit when I saw the entities and sort of ran back out into the manor where I hoped they wouldn't follow me and most of the time spent was me being scared that they'd come out of the room after me. Then somehow I joined them and I represented Fear because I was so terrified of them despite the title actually supposedly was to mean that I scare other people and not the one being scared

So at that point it wasn't scary anymore but before that the clown was very terrifying.


...My dreams don't make much sense when you think about it awake but while I'm dreaming they made perfect sense.

My granddaughter just got over that horrible cough...lasted nearly 2 weeks!
Her mom read that the flu that has been hitting everybody so hard comes with a bad cough and has put a lot of people in the hospital.
I hope your cough gets better quickly!
