I made up the character. D;

Suggetions on how to improve it? I'm trying to make it look perfect, even though nothing's perfect. Especially from me. xD

Well, I'm not a pixel artist, but I was thinking that perhaps you should make the highlights and shadows a bit more contrasty? It kinda looks flat right now.

I am going for the dark look.
I think the end of the dress is to like...straight. Dx i don't know how to fix it and still make it look good.

I dont know much about pixels. Never tried. oxo;; But I guess it depends on the shading and try curving it and not make it straight..? o__o;;;

You got the pixel quite right on the hair bit it'll would probably look better if you only use pixel and not tools. It's contrasting a bit too much with the body.

Okay, though I'm not really good at shading with pixels.

And, try not to be so negative about your work. That will help a ton. =)
I don't think I'm negative. I'm just aware of my skill.

I love the hair and the body but I think you need more "uniqueness" in the outfit. ^^;

I didn't want it to be anything special.

I really like it, you did a fantastic job. If anything, the only thing I could suggest as any sort of improvement would be that the bottom of the skirt seems a bit too straight. It's pretty much one solid line. Perhaps curving it a bit to go with the body's natural shape might be better? Either way I think it's fantastic. And bravo on the character design concept as well.

Well thanks. The problem with the skirt is I don't know where to curve it to make it look right. D;

Oh, I see. Well, when I'm stumped to know how a certain garment would lie, when drawing... I research it. I put a on a similar item and pose that way and look in the mirror. Or I do an image search for whatever kind of thing it is (skirt, shirt, blouse, vest, duster, gown, whatever). I look at the different images and poses to see how the material moves and use that knowledge toward drawing it myself. You might try that. It couldn't hurt! ^.^

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm the hair is a tad to high off the head on thedress you could use a bit more of shading you could also add some sort of a plushie that always makes the work look spectacular

A plushie is a bit off of what I'm going for.
