Ok, so I love Hallowe'en, and since the people where I live don't celebrate it, I was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of some good spooky Hallowe'en music/bands to blast from my stereo on the 31st so I don't feel so bummed out.

*Note: Anything by The Birthday Massacre would make me happy. I've got a few of their songs, and its definately got me in the Hallowe'en spirit.*

Help?

Christian Death is pretty creepy.
Some of Aphex Twin's ambient work gives a spooky kind of vibe.
Also, stores sell halloween spooky ambience around Halloween, but finding a good one is kind of difficult.. some of it's very cheesy.

@Akasha: Hm...
Well, I'm looking for kind of techno type spooky songs. I've got a lot of metal, death metal, that sort of thing. But I'm looking for something with a little less head banging, since I'm always doing it. My brain needs rest. XD If you've ever heard of The Birthday Massacre, I'm looking for stuff a little like that.
[The Birthday Massacre]

@ pwny: Thanks! It is real hard to find good ambience CDs for Hallowe'en. I used to have one that was really cheesey.

Oh, before I forget, there was this one CD I used to have with a bunch of Hallowe'en music by a band called The Tombstones. Do you think anybody could help me find some kind of site about them or something, because I can't seem to find anything about them, and I no longer have their CD.

Aw... Where are you from? Halloween is a fantastic holiday! Everyone should have some version of it. It's too much fun to pass by!

How about Alice Cooper? "Dangerous" is a good song, referring to vampires, and "I Love the Dead" is very creepy, but also creepy in a bad, disgusting way. It deals with necrophilia! Eek!

Alice Cooper is more than highly recomendable.
Some King Diamond could work, heavy metal with horror story lyrics.

OOH! Rob Zombie! He sings about dead people all the time. XD Try "Living Dead Girl." Not one of my favorite Rob Zombie songs, but it's a creepy one.

Uhm, Marilyn Manson?
He did an amazing cover of "This is Halloween" from Nightmare before Christmas.
If you don't want that song, uhmm... "Beautiful People"?

Also, "Enter Sandman" by Metallica is pretty creepy. I don't like Metallica, but I do like that one song.
Korn, too. Maybe "Twisted Transistor" or "Coming Undone". I've only got the one CD of theirs, so I can't suggest much.

If you want something a little less... that. then maybe "Them Bones" or "Man in the Box" by Alice in Chains.

As someone has already said, Alice Cooper is a good bet. So is Ozzy. Maybe "Bark At The Moon"? I don't know too many Ozzy songs, I'm afraid.

Uhhmm, that's about all I can think of. I haven't been listening to too much creepy music lately. Unless you find David Bowie creepy. Which you probably don't.

Atrium Carceri - Seishinbyouin
Aghast - Hexerei Im Zwielicht Der Finsternis

Excellent dark ambient albums, both are quite creepy :)
Also!

unter null - The Failure Epiphany
Chiasm - Disorder
Blutengel - Seelenschmerz
Flesh Field - Viral Extinction
Android Lust - The Dividing

Not sure how Halloween-y those are, but they're quite similar to TBM so you might enjoy them anyway. :D

Good luck finding anything by them, but the band Dvar has some amazing creepy music. Kind of... circus-like. Try to find the album called Roah.

That's my favorite one! D=
But yes, Rob Zombie is excellent for creepy. I'll throw "Spookshow Baby" out there, too, and for some reason, "The Ballad of Resurrection Joe and Rosa Whore" creeps me out.

Also, there are quite a few spooky songs on the Hellsing soundtracks. =3 Yasushi Ishii is amazing at his job.
