Serenity sat on her bed, "Liliana, yes I am friends with a Mershark. Like you, I saved his life once and now he feels in debt to me. He is nicer than you can think; I don't know why you ask if we are more than friends but if we were I wouldn't care because I have no issue with relationships between Mersharks and Mermaids. I know that you don't like them but are you going to judge every single one before you ever get to know them?"

Serenity wanted to go over to Liliana but she was worried that Liliana would pull away from her. Serenity awaited to hear what Liliana had to say.

"I am just worried that you will be hurt. He might not hurt you, but the rest of his family might. If it will make you happy though I will give the mersharks a chance, though I still would rather not be left alone with any of them."

Serenity smiled and hugged Liliana, "Great, then I will promise you that you will never be alone with Arch or his brother, as long as I can help it. If I go out I am forcing you to come with and if you go out I will go with, until you are ready to go places alone or be alone with a Mershark."

Serenity pondered on going to see Arch tonight or not, "Liliana, how would you like to get to know Arch better? I told him that if I could I would go see him tonight because this is how we get to catch up, especially since his parents watch him a lot."

"I wouldn't mind going. I said I would give the mersharks a chance, and getting to know one would be the first step wouldn't it?" She smiled at Serenity. Liliana truly didn't mind going, especially since she didn't want to keep Serenity from her plans.

"Great! I am pretty sure Arch isn't going to bring his brother either." Serenity hugged Liliana, "How is your tail feeling anyway?"

"Oh it is feeling a lot better after swimming around and being able to stretch it a bit! I really do appreciate you and everything you've done for me!"

"It was nothing darling, I am glad I could help you to be honest." Serenity swam around the cave, "I know it isn't much, but this is all I have to offer you."

When night finally dawned upon the ocean, Serenity was getting restless, "Are you ready to go?" Serenity looked to Liliana for her answer.

"Yes I am ready!" Liliana was trying to sound enthusiastic but at this point she was feeling apprehensive about swimming off to meet a mershark at night. She wouldn't say anything about her fear though and hoped she was hiding it well enough.

"Don't be too worried Liliana. I have many friends, I have saved many underwater creatures; most of them will protect us. Plus I can pretty much keep you safe! Liliana if you don't want to we can stay here." Serenity was very honest when she told Liliana that they don't have to go.

"No I don't mind. We can go, I really don't want to interfere with your plans and I did say I would give him a chance." She looked braver as she spoke and smiled again.

"Great, well we can either nap now, or go and then when we come back we can sleep?" Serenity smiled and looked at Liliana. Serenity was glad that Liliana seemed more into getting to know Arch.

"We can sleep after. I'm not very tired yet myself!" She was being honest about that at least and she would rather get the meeting over with sooner rather than later.

The night finally hit the ocean; Serenity was prepared to leave, "Are you ready to go?"

"Yes I am ready!" Liliana smiled at her and swam over to the entrance of the cave, but she waited there for Serenity to lead the way.

Serenity swam over to Liliana, "Well, let's go." Serenity swam ahead but at a distance so Liliana wouldn't get lost.

Liliana followed Serenity looking around every so often though she was certain to never lose sight of Serenity. Her tail hurt a lot less now and she found it easy to keep up with Serenity.

Serenity finally reached the rock where she first found Arch. Serenity made sure that Liliana was behind her.

Liliana caught up to Serenity and looked around. She thought it was a very pretty area and she continued to look around taking in every detail.

Arch was hiding behind the rock that Serenity was waiting at. Arch jumped on the unsuspecting Serenity, Serenity let out of meep. "Serenity it is me, Arch." Serenity turned around to look up at Arch, "That isn't very funny. Liliana, are you fine? Did he scare you?"
