I decided that it might be kind of cool to start up another Rp, even though I just made one yesterday. That one isn't really getting too much action, probably because so far I'm the only one who's posted there, but I hope everyone who RPs in it (along with myself) can do something cool with it.

In the mean time, I decided to open up this RP, which I hope you guys'll enjoy. It is a vampire RP, so it is, in a way, a horror RP, but hopefully there can be a little bit of action mixed in there too. I'm good with whatever kind of genre you guys wanna do; Action, Horror, Comedy, Romance, Tragedy, or whatever.

`l x l` - P l o t - `l x l`

There are many creatures of the dark that stay that way. Hidden in the darkness. But sometimes, there can be problems with that. Slip-ups that can be deadly.

This is such a case.

A strong Coven of vampires known as the “Absconditus” (But often referred to by its members as “Genesis” as it is the Coven that most of them began in, which only strengthens their loyalty) live in a centuries old mansion, 15 miles away from a small, peaceful modern day town, hidden in a thick forest, where they have stayed hidden for around 500 years.

Their mansion is very hard to find, a dark, tall, gothic structure in the middle of a woods. Only coven members have ever gone in, mortals are naturally drawn away from it due to pure survival instinct.

That doesn’t mean that some aren’t plain stupid. A group of teenaged mortals, most likely under the influence of large amounts of alcohol, went past the forbidding gate and into the mansion itself. Of course, once they learned that these blood-lusting creatures of fairy tales were anything but fiction, they were killed... all but one, who for reasons unknown got away before he bled to death.

The proper people were notified, and the peaceful silence between Genesis and the town is at an end. The natural hunters of the Coven are now the hunted-but are more than willing to fight back...

Absconditus members- These are vampires who have lived with Genesis for five centuries, they can be five hundred years old or less. This was the first and only coven they have known, and it is the only life they know or want. They are very committed to protecting their home and avenging those members of their house that have already been killed by the hunters. They all live in the Mansion together, unwilling to leave and more than willing to fight.

Hunters- These are brave humans who are taking action against the vampires of Genesis. They are well trained, extremely strong, and have dedicated their lives to their trade. However, they are still mortal, the vampires are stronger and faster, but that hasn’t stopped these humans from destroying many members of Genesis.

Civilians- These are the humans who have yet to learn about the war going on between the hunters and the vampires. They are also the humans at most risk, as they are defenseless against the vampires who still need to feed, and the war that, if the vampires get their way, will be brought to their own homes and out of the woods that surrounds their mansion.

l x l - No Flaming/Harrasing. Do not insult other people because of their thoughts or ideas. We need to respect others and be friendly in order to roleplay. Bla Bla Bla, this rule is in just about all my RPs.

l x l - Follow all Menewshan Rules. (Duh) That'll keep you out of a lot of trouble.

l x l - No Spamming. In other words, this means no talking OOC character a lot, and making the thread all messy, and constant use of those emoticons. By the way. Don't use those while roleplaying, please it gets very annoying. [Ex. Bobby was really upset. "What?!?!" He shouted! -Insert angry emoticon here- ]

l x l - Literacy is required. Yes, it is a must! Although, I'm not one of those people who don't accept, as most of the internet-using population nicknames them, 'N00bs'. I'll accept them, if their literate, of course, Anyone who is literate, it doesn't matter. This means no *'s, ~'s, -'s. If you can't write out your actions then you don't know what being literate means.

l x l - The posting length can be anything you want it to be, just try to make the one liners literate.

l x l - Romance is a allowed. Yes, romance is allowed! Some romance, but as you probably know, nothing like cybering, a kiss here and there is fine though.

l x l - Please don't play anything like Demons or Angels. Try to only keep it humans and vampires, please? Also, I do not want any unbelievably cool characters, that are all godly and beautiful, and amazing, and bla bla bla. No one likes a mary/gary sue. Vampires are simply vampires. Humans are simply humans.

An overcast sky, in addition to a cool, mid-fall breeze contributed to a feeling of utmost melancholy among the near leaf-less trees that Valanthelas Valentine found herself amongst. It must have been near her five-hundredth time experiencing such weather, so as one can imagine, she was quite used to the way the forest looked around this time, as well as it's affect it had on the mansion.

A cool gust of wind rustled the long dark hair on Valanthelas' head, though the vampire ignored it.

Today was a nice day.

Miles hummed quietly as he walked through the halls of the mansion, readjusting the top hat on his head occasionally. Sometimes he would nod politely to some of the younger vampires as he passed by, sometimes listening into their conversations half-heartedly.

His shoes made quiet, barely audible thudding noises every time he stepped on the red velvet carpet, which looked the exact same as all the other carpets laid out on nearly every hall of the mansion.

Getting bored simply wandering around, Miles decided he'd pay a visit to the 'entertainment room' as he deemed it. A wide assortment of musical instruments were all located in that area of the house, and with as many vampires who lived in this place, music was almost always streaming from behind the doors of 'the entertainment room.'

Nayoko was walking in the other part of the forest. she lived by her own in a small hidden house ."It's nice outside"she said."I will go and see Kyle tonight".After that she put her headphones and start to listen to music.She never felt the need to be a friend with the other vampires in that land but she was pretty lonely.She saw a vampire walking in the woods ,too."Good morning "she said politely.

Kyle was listening to music in his room.He was thinking about Nayoko's new weapon.He got hungry and got to buy something to eat.When he was leaving the house,he felt a strange presence behind him."Is that Nayoko?!?"he asked to himself."it's just my imagination,i guess" and walked on.

Miles reached out a gloved hand, just about to open the large wooden door leading into the "entertainment room," before a voice called out to him, causing the elderly vampire to pause, promptly stand straight up, and face the direction in which the voice immerged.

"I beg your pardon?" Miles said curiously, a bit of his accent slipping out into his words unconsciously.

"Miles, I've been looking all over for you!" A young looking female vampire snapped, stomping past those in the hallway to where Miles stood. Obviously, this female had a temper, and although her young age suggested Miles could easily take her down whenever he felt like it, her fiery eyes suggested she was not one to mess with either way.

Valanthelas glanced over at the other, her crimson eyes looking almost a deep brown color in the nearly monochrome weather. "Indeed." Valanthelas replied shortly, taking a moment to study the other's face.

Valanthelas, because she had survived in the house so long, knew by heart, nearly every name and face of any vampire whom had ever come to stay in the somewhat dark abode.

Although she was quite far away from the mansion itself, and other vampires did occasionally go for a walk in the woods surrounding the mansion, it would have to be a bit more than coincidence to run into a member of the house this far away, unless of course Valanthelas was either being followed, or someone was searching for her.

So, naturally, after years of experience the vampire made an assumption that this female, who ever she was, was not a vampire that belonged to the Genesis coven.

Unless, of course, she was a new member, traveling to the mansion from some unknown land, where she somehow managed to hear of the coven, and decided to make her way, of all places, here. (Which wasn't always such an uncommon case. Genesis often had vampires come seeking entrance to the coven from nearly all places of the land, and as such many of the members, Valanthelas included, learned a wide variety of useful languages from those who had come from exotic lands to make stay at the mansion.)

Speaking with a monotone that nearly matched the colors of the gray, dull sky above, Valanthelas asked a question she was already near positive she knew the answer to. "You're not here to become a member of Genesis," it wasn't a question, more or less a dull realization.
