Just like the title says, I need your guys' naming expertise to name the newest member to our weirdo family.
'little puppy', which is the only thing we can call him at the moment, is 8 weeks old and very energetic, he is a black lab but we think he might be a mix between a lab and a husky because his tail curls upwards in a circlular arc and he has a sort of course-like fluffiness about him. His eyes are green and he has massive paws and also well obviously he's a boy pup. (sorry, I don't have any pics)
So just come up with anything you guys think would be cute for him, any suggestions are loved C:
also: I love shakespearian names/ Greek Mytho. Names and really weird ones C:
you could also vote on some of the names my fam. came up with:
Mercutio
Montague
Capulet
Oberon
Othello
Ninja
Asher
October
Zeus
Herme's
thanks in advance peoples^^

I personally like the names Mercutio and Hermes for a playful boy puppy.

I think Montague sounds cute. :3
But if you're going for Shakespearian names, I'd totally go with Grumio or Petruchio. Or even Horatio.
But that's because it's ALL about Hamlet and Taming of the Shrew.
(then again, Macbeth is pretty good... :3 *goes and reads her Shakespeare*)

Personally i like Ninja and Othello, though all the names you have up there sound good for a boy pup. He sounds really cute and energetic =D it sort of reminds me of my long haired chihuahua Pepper.

XD Zeus. That's awesome.
I'd probably name him that, just because its such a random name for a dog. But that's just me XD
I like Mercutio. It sounds fancy :3

I dunno, I'd say NOT Ninja, because that seems too overused. :c
You want your dog to have a less common/overdone name right?
Any of the other names would fit with that, but ninja are such a fad right now. >.>

I'd have to say name him Othello.
I like that name best. It just sounds neat rolling off the tongue.
I've had my puppy for about a month now and it took me a day or two to settle on a name.
Names for animals can be so hard to decide sometimes. Specially because I'm picky.
I'd hate to wind up hating the pets name at a later date. XD.
By the way, I've got a mini dachshund. His name is Arlo.
Oh, I also have to agree with KeiKei Shunu. Ninja does seem overused.
I'd personally never name a dog that... but that's just me. *nod*

Oberon sounds the most awesome... followed by Zeus for me... even though Zeus is a tad overused!

I like the name Othello. I sounds like a cute name for a puppy and it rolls right off the tongue. All of the names aren't very common names for a puppy, except maybe ninja.
Mercutio and Oberon are also some pretty awesome names for the puppy. He sounds cute.

Waiddaminute. Othello is perfect actually.
If the dog is a black lab? XD It fits with Shakespeare. Your "Moor" dog. XD
But that's a cute name.

October is a pretty cool name for a lab.
Zeus is a bit common, but ah well. :3
Babynames.com has a lot of funky names to name a pet. xD That's how I named my puppy, Dahlia Rose.

I personally think Othello would be a cool name. It would be a cool name to call out and I can definitely see it fitting a dark dog like yours.

I have a personal experience with most energetic puppies being named Jake, haha. It seems to fit best for a Jack Russel breed though.
