Have you ever made a wish at 11:11? Has it come true?
Does anyone know where this superstition actually came from?
I remember I heard it the first time from this one girl who just said, "It's 11:11, make a wish!" I was like "why, okay, whatever", so I made a wish... and it came true! Of course it's probably just coincidence, but it's fun. ^^

I don't do it, but I've heard a lot of people talking about it. So much at one point, actually, that it really got on my nerves...

I don't go for that kind of thing...because I hate the number 11. XD;
...blame Code Geass. The way I see it, 11 is a racist number. :illgetu:
However, I HAVE been known to make a wish at 2:22, 3:33, and 5:55...but not 4:44, because 4 is death.
It's never come true, and I don't expect it to; I just do it for the hell of it.

I don't ever wish, but, I do count it out.
I do for every hour when I see it.

I don't really, but whenever I notice, I do. None of my wishes have came true.
It started when my boyfriend at the time told me, "It's 11:11, make a wish!" And I was like, "Why? ..okay.." I don't remember what I wished for, but I doubt it did. xDD
I'm not sure how the superstition came about, but it'd be interesting to learn. (:

Meh i never do anything like that, it seems silly to me.
If i make a wish, i doubt it's gonna come true whatever time i make it xD
I'd probably make one for the hell of it if i saw a shooting star though, at least they're more rare occurences xD (sp?)

It is silly. I've never really felt anything special at the time of 11:11, but midnight just feels, I don't know, magical to me. But I don't go making wishes then.
I pretty much do the 11:11 thing for the hell of it. xD

I haven't really noticed what time it is when I usually look at the clock. Lately, it's been 11:11, but I think that's just because I've been thinking about it that I'm noticing when I'm seeing it.
But yeah, I think one of the things the whole 11:11 wish thing came from was because people kept seeing the number over and over again. I'm guessing someone said what the hell and made a wish. xD

Oh, my school has TV clocks, so we're super obsessed with this stuff.
Our favorites are usually consecutive numbers, or consecutive pairs.
We cheer at doubles too. xD
Examples: 01:23:45, 12:34:56.

Okay! I'm gonna wish something that's likely not to happen.
Only with a friend. xD
I don't want to find some creepy force from the great beyond.
Haunting my room, watching me at night, sleeping..

I actually heard that for the first time a few days ago when I friend of mine stayed over and she looked at our clock. I didn't actually make a wish though since I'm not really much of a superstitious person.
I took one of those personality quizzes once that told me I had to email 5 people or the wish I made at the start of the quiz would never come true. Considering my wish was "To eat lunch" I'm glad it was a lie. XD

I thought midnight was supposed to be the all time bad, superstitious moment of the day. Where did 11:11 come from? I suppose because 6:66 isn't possible, the demons had to go elsewhere?

I first heard about 11:11 from a quiz I was taking.
But I never do it. : P I stopped wishing upon things when I was little, since they never came true.
