Chapter one - Meet the girls
8169 Sugardip street. There were a lot of jokes going through Elliot’s mind, all of which he kept to himself. The house was pretty big, and, it was close to school, and it was close to work. And, the ad wasn’t asking a lot for rent. He knocked. “Coming!” came a girl’s voice from inside the house.
“Hidi, be careful!” came another woman’s voice, “you’re all-“ thud, “never mind.” Elliot glanced around, and the door swung open. There stood, who he could only assume, was Hidi. She was an even 5’00 with mid-length blond hair that was currently tied up in a high pony tail, big blue eyes, high, round cheekbones, a tangle of yarn around her one ankle, and a very quizzical look on her face.
“Uhm, hi,” said Elliot as she tried to go on tip toe to see if there was someone behind him, “I’m Elliot, I’m here about the room for rent?”
Hidi looked even more confused yet, but, smiled, “Well, alright, come on in.” The girl he had heard talking earlier poked her head in, she looked like a giant next to Hidi, but was probably about average height. She had fire engine red hair, cut short and choppy, brown eyes with a stud of silver through one eye brow, and a chest that could make any man her slave. “I think there was a problem with the ad Kade.” The red head, Kade, looked at Elliot who waved, and back to Hidi.
“Lilla put the ad in, right?” Hidi nodded. “Right, hang on a second, will you?” She smiled and went upstairs; there were then a few loud crashing noises, and a yelp of pain or fear.
A third girl wandered out. Average height, shoulder length brown hair, brown eyes. Pretty, in a plain sort of way. “Heya Hidi, who’s the guy?”
Elliot glanced at the new girl, “This is Elliot. He’s here about the room for rent.”
“Ooooh, that’s why Kade is murdering Lilla. She didn’t put a gender in for the ad?”
“So it would seem.”
“Uhm, I can leave, it’s not a problem…” muttered Elliot.
“Don’t be silly,” said the new girl, “we desperately need a fifth room mate, and no one would read if you didn’t move in.”
“Huh?”
She smiled, “I’m Rika, nice to meet you…?”
“Elliot. My name is Elliot.” He said after a moment to get his brain back.
Kade stormed back down, having a fourth girl by the ear. This one was also tall and pretty in a model sort of way. Blond, blue eyes, Grawr. “Oh, goody, group meeting time.” Said Rika as Kade growled something to that effect.
“Please wait here for a few minutes, we won’t be long,” said Hidi as they went into the other room. Elliot could hear everything.
“Okay, so, Lilla needs to be murdered,” this was Rika, “But, we’re going to get kicked out if we don’t get a room mate within the next week, and, he’s the only guy to so much as look. He seems like a bit of a pansy, I think we’d be safe.”
“I’m not sure I’m comfortable with a boy living with us…” This was the model looking one, Lilla.
“You don’t have a say,” growled Kade. Lillia whimpered. “I’m fine with it. I guess. Hidi?”
“Doesn’t bother me. He seems nice!”
Rika poked her head out, “Yes or no?”
Normally, he would have asked to see the place or something, but, he could hear his best friend’s voice in the back of his head threatening to kill him if he didn’t leap upon this before these four lovely ladies decided that they’d rather end up in the sewers then living with him.
He smiled, “Sure.”
Sounds nuts, doesn’t it mate?” wrote Elliot to his a few days later, once he was settled in. The same friend who would have murdered him had he not jumped on the chance.
Dude. I’m going to practically be living there.
“Guys, I just made some cookies!” called Hidi.
I’m off man. Hidi made cookies
Take me with you!!!!!!11eleventy!!!
Elliot had never been a very lucky guy. And he had been abnormally unlucky when it came to women, but, as he looked around at the four girls sitting around him, he had a feeling that was bound to change.
