((Sounds like a good assumption to me))
Katherines dark eyes turned to view the succubi entering the bar. "Spurcus everto" Her lips mouthed the word, although it was inaudible to human ears. Her thoughts didn'tlinger too long on the girls though, for at that moment a filthy soul walked...or rather meandered down the street. The man, in his forties, was clearly drunk although he was not her prey for the night, she fell into step a fair distance behind him. Waiting.
As far back as she could remember, and even before then, drunks had a way of attracting trouble. Godless souls. They were her prey. She had only to find them out. It didn't take long, it never did. Only a matter of minutes and she had her evening meal. This night it was two men in their teens.Yesterday it had been a female child, who knew what it would be tomorrow.
Her fingers deftly removed the stray droplets of blood from her lips and looked around at the stricken drunkard. "One might wonder if you were worth saving." She spoke down to him. The man was barely concious and paid no attention to her at all. What did she care.

Rae followed the girl into the bar and split off into another direction. She slightly bit her lower lip, and total look of naivitie across her face and she fingered her hair again. Swaying rythmically to the music, she meandered slowly about, looking for suitable company to end the night. Ending at the wet bar, Rae ordered some random froofroo of a drink, and started off in what was a practiced forlorn look. Tonight should be easy.

Salon watched the other succubus move in another direction and smiled at the bartender, deciding to go with the outgoing tomboyish Stephanie tonight and ordered a beer from the tap, sipping the liquid her face not showing at all how much she loathed the beverage. She turned and studied the bar, seeing a pool table on the other side of the room and a group of guys there. She plastered a smile on her face and stepped over to the table, watching the young man as he leaned over to strike the ball and she let out a quiet laugh, causing the guy's head to turn in her direction. She said "Your posture's all wrong," and shook her head, turning to leave but she had seen the guy's eyes light up. It's never very hard for her to catch their attention. Something about her voice caused them to pant like puppies.
"Well, if you're so smart why don't you show me?" the man said.
She smiled and placed her beer down, glad to get rid of the beverage. She approached the pool table again and leaned over it towards the guy, her eyes doing enough flirting on their own and said "I don't think you could handle a lesson from me." Cat calls spilled from the other mens' mouths as she winked at the guy and picked up her beer again, taking a sip. She had thrown out the bait and she wondered how easy it would be to hook this male. Each person had a varying degree of susceptibility to Salon's form of seduction.

Rae felt a soft brush of warm skin against her bare shoulder, and spun around, feigning alarm. " S'cuse me miss, you look like you could use some company. I didn't mean you startle you." She heard the baratone voice and smiled to herself. This was going to be easy. His was the type to save the poor little damsel in distress. "Oh, I uh-, that is, uhm-" Rae wrang her hands. "I suppose I thought you were someone else..." She trailed off looking slightly worried. "Say.. Would you mind... Uhm, maybe just sitting here for a while?" She subtely brush her hand up against his, the picture of hopelessness perfect across her smooth features. And again relief as he sat beside her. Easy indeed.

A homely and endearing scene could be viewed through the front window of Charles and Abigail Carondolet’s suburban home. It was the old couple’s fifty-seventh wedding anniversary and their grown children and young grandchildren had come to celebrate with them. After satisfying their stomachs with a hearty evening meal the family had gathered into the living room to relax and enjoy each others company. While some of the adults talked amongst themselves the others watched over or played games with the children. The atmosphere was truly peaceful.
Across the street, on the shadowed porch of an abandoned house, Sebastian was secretly observing the cozy group of people. Some might have considered him a stalker, but he was not exactly a stranger to the neighborhood. He used to live in the Carondolet’s home as Abigail’s older brother, though no one would know it if they looked at him now. Ever since the incident of forty years ago, all he could do was watch over his family from afar. He never minded the vampire life, but loneliness and a longing to be with his human family was always with him.
“Happy anniversary, Abby,” Sebastian whispered, hoping that the wind would carry the words to his sister’s ears. When she looked towards the window, he knew it was impossible for her to know, but he imagined that it worked anyway. After a while, he decided it was time to go. His throat was dry, itching for a drink, but he was not in an appropriate place for hunting. With a simple wave of farewell, he finally walked away and towards the city.

It was easier than she had expected. She smiled as she heard the guys behind her whispering and the guy with the pool stick finished his turn and then said to his friends "I'm getting a drink," and trotted right up beside Salon "Can I buy you one?" he asked with a smile planted on his face. He wasn't putty yet but it wouldn't take Salon very long.
She flashed him a smile and lifted her beer, downing the last bit in the bottom of the bottle "Gladly," she said and the guy placed an arm on her shoulder and directed her to the bar. As they waited for their turn to order Salon decided to exchange the simple pleasantries "I'm Stephanie," she said as he waved the bar over.
"Most people call me Dan," the guy said. He was taller than Stephanie and had dark hair and eyes. His lips were full and he wore what looked like pieces of suit that had been disassembled to help him feel more relaxed. Salon studied his fingers to search for a ring. She's made the mistake before of seducing a married man. When the bartender approached Dan ordered a beer and he looked to Salon.
"Another one," she said, shaking the beer bottle in her hand. The only reason Salon was even wasting time talking to this guy was she had to make it look real. She couldn't just come in and pick a guy and use her technique quickly. She waited for the bartender to bring her the beer.

A mischievous smirk crept upon Sebastian’s face as he approached a secluded bus stop. At first, he was unsure if it was just a shadow, but as he walked closer he could make out the figure of a young woman. She was sitting alone and staring wistfully into the distance. She looks like she could use some company, Sebastian thought with a lick of his lips.
“Good evening,” he greeted while taking a seat beside his declared victim. His voice seemed to break the dull trance she was in for she suddenly jumped with surprise. “I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to startle you.”
“Oh, it’s okay…” the woman softly replied. She timidly peered at him from the corners of her eyes, embarrassed from being caught off guard. Sebastian’s smile widened and he leaned forward. He needed to make eye contact with the woman for his spells to work.
“Do I look like I bite? I promise I don’t,” he chuckled, trying to make her feel at ease. She responded by shaking her head and looking up. Ah, that’s better. “My name is Sebastian. I was just in town to visit my sister. It’s her wedding anniversary today.”
The woman gently took hold of the hand he held out and shook it. “I’m Paloma. I was just here for my grandmother’s funeral,” she said. Her voice wavered slightly and her tired eyes resisted the release of more tears.
“Oh, I’m sorry to hear about that,” Sebastian replied. A sullen expression cast upon his face, but in truth, he was happy that she felt so vulnerable. It made things a lot easier.

((Just to let everyone know that from Thurs. to [possibly] Monday I will not be on. I'll probably bring in my demon/vampire hunter character when I come back. ))
Salon fell into a routine. He chatted and she chatted about the little things in their lives. Who they were, what they enjoyed. By now, he wasn't going to refuse her anything. She sat up straight in her chair and whispered to Dan "Do you want to get out of here?" she asked, trying to make her eyes look mischievous as possible. When he smiled and nodded she placed the beer onto the table and grabbed his hand, pulling him up from the seat and leading him towards the door of the bar. When he and she stepped out she had to wait a moment for speaking again as one of the delivery ships now used in place of planes flew overhead.
"We can go to my place," he said, Salon nodded and he began to stroll down the street with Salon draped across his arm. He was a bit tipsy and Salon had to pretend the beer had taken affect on her too. She wobbled and giggled as he spoke about where they were going. He took her to his own vehicle and opened the door, shoving his stuff into the back.
Salon herself sat down on the seat and brushed her hair off of her shoulders "I never do stuff like this," she said to him as he got in a started driving towards his house.

((Guess whos back?))
Mina watched his potion brew. The items he bought were just ripe. He needed to use them right away other wise they would of gone bad by two days passing. Putting his hands over the kettle he said,
"I now call upon the divine power to do my will and listen to me. This potion will have the effect of 20 pounds of T.N.T in five mL. With the Goddess Sphiq at my side, it is done."
A White light filled the kettle turning the liquid from a red to a dark blue. Putting it in bottles he cleaned and locked everything back up. Tomorrow would be the day he would have some revenge.

((I posted up a profile of my new character on the first page. ;3 ))
As the house came in she knew the guy was no longer himself. He was in her total control. She'd just been using her voice to slowly attract him to her. She smiled as he came around and opened the door, unable to keep his hands off of her as he helped her out of the car. She giggled playfully as they both walked to the door, clinging to him like the helpless human she was pretending to be, kissing him lightly on the neck and giggling when he would nuzzle into hers. This was a game she hadn't played in a long time.
She stopped a few steps away from the door as Dan went forward and opened the door. She giggled as he came back and wrapped his arms around her kissing her neck and shoving her through the front door. She prayed silently that he was single. Her power of seduction did not work on females. She giggled and turned to Dan "Are we alone here?" she asked and studied his face. She might be able to tell whether or not he was lying.
Eryn sat at the park bench, a large trench coat pulled over her normal outfit to help hide the dagger and the pistol at her side. She was studying the people as they passed by, trying to sense if anyone was not human. Her father had told her what to look for. Demons would give off an aura that could cause the hairs on the back of her neck if she made eye contact. Vampires were a ghastly pale color and easier to spot. Though, humans could cause the same thing so closer observation would be done. She never attacked someone without definitive proof that they were not human.
She studied the people closely and sighed. It wasn't likely they'd be in this park. She stood up from the bench and started to head deeper into the city, where the clubs and the dark alleyways were. She only ever saw two or three other creatures in the park. She shoved her hands into her pocket and fingered her cellphone wondering if she should call her dad and ask where he thought the hot spot was for tonight, obviously Eryn had been wrong. She lifted the phone and hit the speed dial number. After a few rings a husky voice laden with heavy breathing spoke.
"Hey baby girl." Eryn's dad said "What's up?"
"Trying to find the hot spot for tonight," She said and heard a sound as her dad rustled some papers around. Apparently he was already in his office. Good luck for Eryn.
"Well, I'm not sure but I've been noticing a lot of temperature drops in the club district tonight, you should try there first. Call me if it's dead."
"Alright," Eryn smiled into the phone "Talk to you later daddy." she clicked off as her dad said good bye and made her way deeper into the city, hands tucked into her pockets again.

"Why is this so god damn boring?" She grumbled as she sat outside on a tiny piece of grass. She sat with her legs crossed in front of her, her hands resting on her ankles. She sat straight with her head cocked to the side as she studied her surroundings.
She was still getting used to things. When the eradication had come, her lover had knocked her out for much longer than he had most likely planned on. She had been in a comalike sleep for 5 years. By the time she woke up, he had long since left. She broke from the chains that he had held her with and easilly broke through the door to the room he had locked her in. And, with her lover being a magic user, the room was held extra tight.
She sighed softly, hanging her head a little, her rose colored eyes softly closing. She missed him. She knew now that he had only been trying to protect her. She wished she knew what happened to him.
So much time had passed since then. He was more than likely dead now. So she could hunt without fear. Rayne didn't hunt for food or such. She hunted for fun. She took great enjoyment from flirting with men and bringing them in. The wolf in her though never excepted another man, so it was alright. In fact, the sister wolf liked this game of flirting.
Which brought her back to what she was doing sitting in a seldom seen patch of grass. She was waiting. She had a feeling that some other would discover her here. It was only a matter of time. And she had infinite patience.

Sebastian exhaled a sigh of a annoyance when the woman decided to turn away from him, but politely gave her some time to cry before taking the next step. After waiting a while, he placed a comforting hand on top of her own and tucked a lock of her hair behind her ear so that he could see her face.
"You know, watching a pretty woman cry isn't exactly a pleasure of mine," he said, wiping her wet cheeks with his thumb. Paloma's eyes started to follow his fingers as they continued to gently caress her skin and brush underneath her chin. Her face was already red from crying, but it flushed even deeper at his touch. Sebastian smiled, more than pleased to feel her pulse quickening beneath his fingertips.
For a brief moment, he looked away and surveyed the area for any unwanted lurkers. Seems to be clear... he thought. He turned back to the woman and leaned forward, whispering, "There's no need to worry anymore." A soft kiss was placed on Paloma's cheek before he said any more. "You can see the one you lost again." This time, his lips met hers. "I don't bite, I promise," he lied.

Rayne sniffed the air slightly, inhaling all of the scents of this city. The first thing that she could smell was the scent of the sterile city. She could smell the acidic metal of the buildings and it made her wrinkle her nose. She pushed past that scent. There were other more important things.
Next was the scent of humans. Such stupid creatures they were. During the Eradication, they were so foolish about it that they killed many of their own side in their efforts. She sighed, pushing once more past their scent.
Those didn't matter. It was the OTHERS that mattered. She could smell so well that she knew what a few of the other demons were doing. Several of them were feeding. She wrinkled her nose. The idea of sucking one's blood was disgusting. She at least only attacked when she needed to. And even then, it was her inner wolf that did it.
Even the thought of a Hunt though, made her wolf rub against the barrier between her and her Sister Wolf. She softly pushed the wolf back though so she could focus. Now was not the time.

Dan nodded to Salon "Welcome to my bachelor's pad" he said and waved his arms out in a way to show off his surroundings.
Salon smiled and studied the place. Cleaner than she had expected, which only disturbed her slightly. She slowly scanned the room. He had a lot of the updated electronics, apparently Dan loved the way the world was heading. This disgusted Salon. But right now she was Stephanie and as Stephanie she giggled and teased "I always expect a bachelor pad to be a lot more...manly," she approached Dan and placed her hand on his arm, she was ready to get this over with. She ran her hand up her arm and rested it on her shoulder, twisting her body to face Dan, tracing his lips with the tip of her finger. He practically melted against her body. She smiled as he half leaned half led her into his bedroom. Too easy, sometimes.
Eryn walked briskly. She made sure she stayed in good health. She rubbed her fingers through her hair. Though she was still quite extravagant compared to most people but never really stood out. She chewed on her lip ring and avoided eye contact with any of the humans she felt walking by.
((This isn't done yet I just got too sidetracked and lost my train of thought, sorry.))

Comming back up to the upper world was a choice that Mina did not know how it would play out. Slipping a bottle of sleeping potion into one pocket and the secret potion he had made up into the other he jogged to be able to catch up to a girl. A girl that he knew he must come by.
"Eryn", whispered the wind.
Mina memorized the name quickly as the air began to tell him more...

Katherine continued to stalk the night. Even though she had fed, she had nothing better to do with her time and she liked dishing out death to those she deemed damned. Unlike most vampires left around, Katherine was a dedicated killer who believed in what she did. Believed that people deserved to die, and not because she was superior but because she believed what she was doing was Gods own work. That some people deserved nothing more.

((Instead of editing the last post I decided to just make a new one. ))
Salon brushed her hair out of her face as she and Dan fell into his bed. She let out a soft giggle from the back of her throat as he began to kiss her neck again. She flipped over and straddled him, her eyes glowing at this point. Dan made no sound in response, just stared up at Salon as she slowly seemed to shed into a crimson skinned demon. His face let off no signs of horror, Salon guessed he was still seeing Stephanie. Her eyes glowed brighter as she leaned down and pressed her lips against his and could feel his soul fluttering from the middle of his body. She slowly pulled back her head in ecstasy as the man's soul lifted from his body and began to enter her. Her eyes glowed brighter as the man's complexion became duller. Even the natural luster of his hair seemed to dim as his soul left his body.
When she was done feeding Salon slid off of Dan, who no longer showed in signs of life. She smirked as she dabbed the corner of her mouth and flipped her bright white hair off of her shoulders and left the house quietly, spreading her wings out she hoped there wasn't any delivery ships going by right now and lifted herself high into the air, heading back towards the old man's shop. She'd had her fill for tonight.
Eryn paused as she suddenly felt a major drop in temperature that stopped her in her tracks. She studied her surroundings and realized there was a strange feeling coming from two directions. One from a lady sitting on the grass and one from a woman who was walking down the streets. Eryn's eyes were instantly drawn to the latter of the women, who looked unusual even with the eccentricities of a lot of cliques. She turned away quickly and decided to study this girl first but remembered the face of the other. She slid herself onto a nearby bench, waiting for the woman to walk past.

Abilene stared at the computer screen before her, a striped candy stick in her mouth. She'd have thought as "advanced" as everything above and below ground was they'd have long since gotten rid of that annoying blue screen. But they hadn't. Of course she was thinking about that because she actually had writer's block. Writing your own obituary was kind of weird.
Or was it that she was writing a friend's obituary? Either way, the person she was trying to 'kill off' didn't exist at all and thinking of a good way to kill him off was wracking her brain. She grabbed at the end of the stick and broke off the end, rolling it around in her mouth while she put the rest of it away in the package and in her desk, "Ne. Maybe I should just have him write a last book, stating he's retiring. But then they'd want him to appear in public for an award. I'm sure of it."
Frowning she turned the computer off and leaned back in her chair, looking to the door of her office. "I need some fresh air. That's what I need." She bit into the candy stick as she stood up and headed out the door, making sure to lock everything before she headed for the closest lift to take her above ground. Of course, she frowned when she had to remember her number, muttering to herself various passages from her books, apparently remembering her number by page, edition, and in the case of the last number lines on a certain page. Clapping gleefully at remembering the number she stepped quickly into the lift, not having to really change clothes since she was dressed in a t-shirt and jeans already. "I think I'll pick up more of those candy sticks while I'm out. They're delicious. I have a great excuse, y'know. Helps with the thought process and whatnot."
As the lift arrived above ground she gave a cheerful smile and a wave to the man who kept the 'shop' she arrived in before walking outside. Once outside and on the sidewalk she clapped gleefully once more and headed towards a bar, "Alcohol. Then candy. Great plan."

Eryn landed on the roof of a shop with a thud just as a woman was exiting the building. She studied the lady who appeared to be talking to herself with interest and decided that her curiosity could use a little attention tonight. Shifting back into Stephanie and slipping the costume back on she slid down the stairs to the roof and came around the front of the shop, watching the other woman walk away from the building and slowly fell into step behind her. She could sense that this person was not a demon of any variation or a werewolf but she could sense there was something different about her. She kept a safe distance hoping she wouldn't notice herself being followed.
Eryn sat on the bench and studied both women she had sensed. One was obviously a vampire -- the other she could tell was some sort of demon. She wrapped her coat around her tighter. Her father wasn't kidding, it was a busy night in this area. She leaned her head back as she tried to keen her senses and see which of the two women were the more dangerous and needed to be taken care of first. She knew vampires were definitely the most dangerous but how active was this one? Was the other demon sitting on the grass more likely to attack more people? She waited to see if either would give something away.

Abilene reached the bar, not at all noticing the woman who was following her. Straightening her shirt, making sure it had no wrinkles she entered the bar smiling at the humans as she passed them on her way to the bartender.
Ignoring the odd looks she got from a man who muttered about LOVING redheads, she smiled and waved to the bartender, "Greetings! Could I get a jack and coke?"
She nodded when he went off to get her drink, moving a hand to her pocket to fish out some money to pay for it. Nodding along to the music playing, she turned sideways on the stool, looking over the humans in the bar.
