Halloween is coming soon! Do you have a costume ready?

I'm totally dressing up, it's my favorite part of Halloween. Hopefully I can get some friends to dress up as well. My costume this year is a showgirl/mardi gras girl, but it's not super revealing because I pretty much just used clothes I already own. I'm going to wear a silver mask with purple feathers and some sparkly necklaces and stuff. It's going to be so much fun.

I was in the dollar store, and they had a bunch of V for Vendetta masks, and I almost wanted to buy one as a joke, but I already have a good costume. My friend wants to dress up as Sarah Palin, but I'm not sure if she's really going to. It would be very funny though.

-So, anyone else planning to dress up this year?
-Any funny or original costumes that you have come across?
-Also, what is the best candy to get?

My friend was a dork and bought me 3 outfits online XP An Egyptian Goddess thing, Tiger Lily, and a Pirates of the Caribbean geisha outfit that Elizabeth wore in the 3rd movie. I'm going as the Elizabeth Geisha one and going to try to make my friend go as tiger lily<3

I'm not really planning on dressing up. I might though. I have this Business Academy class at my school and maaan. o_o She's all "DRESS UP SO WE CAN GET POINTS." DX I'm like "Alright alright!" I'm hoping to be like a mechanic or something... for some odd weird reason I've always wanted to be a mechanic. ._______.

Well. I've come across a few funny costumes. >> Like I came across this weird looking clown outfit. I was like "Who in right's mind would were THAT?" XD I hate clowns. o.o D;

I think Candy Corn is the all-time best candy there is. xD I think it's so good. D: Why? I don't know, I'm weird. :sarcasm:

costumes are not ready, but I want ot be a miad or a school girl, though I may run into issues since the maid outfit isn't done at al. More like a servant maid, but yeah..

My girlfriend and I are going as a saloon girl and a cowgirl, respectively. Last year we were a vampire and a vampire hunter, that was fun.
Also, candy corn is awesome. I don't know why, but it is.

Although the costumes are not yet made, my friends and I are planning to be "serial killers." You know, like a really bloodthirsty version of Snap, Crackle, and Pop?

We're going to get giant, economy-sized cereal boxes and add handles to them to use as trick-or-treating devices. Whether we can still obtain candy with our respective ages remains to be seen. :)

xD Awesome idea. The last time I went trick-or-treating was 2 years ago, when I was 16. Only one lady kind of gave us a look, but everyone else didn't seem to care about our age. But I decided that was going to be my last year. I think it's just as fun handing out candy to all the cute little ones. :3 Plus, you get to eat the leftover candy.

I'm handing out candy.

I might sneak out in my cross country uniform just to hit up the good houses on my block, but that's about it. My dad buys 100 grand, which is my favorite, so I just don't give them to the kiddies.

A bunch of friends and I are going to be vampires and stumble around in hopes of laughs or candy. If nothing else it will be a fun night with good pictures. =)

I don't know if I'll be dressing up this year. I don't have any money or anything to turn into a costume unless I want to be a pirate again. If I'm home then I'll probably just hand stuff out.

The weirdest costume I ever saw was someone in my school who dressed up as a Christmas present. That was the biggest box I've ever seen, and he bumped into everyone coming down the hallway.

I love getting Reese's for Halloween. I don't like getting lollipops. I end up never eating them and eventually throwing them away.

I wish I could dress up in something unique, but I'll be working this Halloween, which means I'll just be in my usual costume for work.

And yes, it's a costume. I work in Tomorrowland in Walt Disney World.

I'm gonna be dressing up! I'm either gonna be a teen vampire, or a funky teen witch. I think I'm going to go as the witch, given that it would be warmer.
Currently I don't really have what I need for the witch, like the fairy wand, hat, black frilly tutu, and the boots. Same thing with the vampire. I have what I would need, I just need to make a few adjustments.

I can't really remember any really cool original costumes...

The coolest/best candy? Chocolate. Dark yummy chocolate, jolly ranchers and gum >_>

Hmm I was thinking of grabbing a fairly large cardboard box, spray painting it white, then writing the phrase "Ignore Me!" in big bold letters on every side, the g and o being holes for me to look out of.

NOTE PARTIALLY EXPLICIT: Kay so I once saw a guy at a big party dressed up as a gigantic penis. It also seemed he had stockpiled some Elmer's Glue because at the end of the party he went over to a car and then shot it all out of the top onto the car and ran off like there was no tomorrow.

aww.. we actually don't celebrate halloween where i come from
(though that's probably beginning to change due to western culture influence).
but if i do get to dress up, i'll like for it to be something original and fun.. maybe setting a theme among a group of friends.. xD
a bunch of us might actually try doing something like that in the next year. (we're just too busy this year to start something up)

For halloween, I'm helping out with a group I'm in this safe trick-or-treat/kid's game night that we vollenteered for. I don't have much in the way of costumes other than elf ears and a hawaiian shirt XD That should be intersting! Later on that night or the next day I'll probably watch a scary movie or some kind.

In the future, be sure to read through at least the front page before making a new thread.

Hmmm... I was planning on going out as either Isabella Swan from the Twilight series or a zombie/witch girl. I'm kinda indecisive between the two...

The Craziest costume I have ever seen was when one girl came to school on Halloween Day where we got to where out costumes and she was dressed up as a giant wad of bubble gum stuck to someone's shoe. I mean she went all out. She used the spray in pink hair color on her blonde hair and draped herself in pink garbage bags before tying a shoe to the top of her head.

Chocolate is the best candy to get for trick-or-treating definitely.

skykittykat: fro some reason I read that as Elizabeth Swan from Pirates of the Caribbean. I was like "But she's not from Twilight... Whaaat?"

I love the box idea from the previous page. Also the bubblegum stuck to a shoe is an extremely original costume. I'd like to see how that turned out.

The best ones from school last year were a bunch of kids dressed as Transformers using cardboard boxes, and a Rubix Cube that could actually turn.

I still have NO idea what I want to be for Halloween. In fact, not even sure if I will bother going trick-or-treating. Might as well enjoy the Halloween Event here in Menewsha to the fullest, and that will be my Halloween! =) Heck yea, it will be tons of fun. :)

I'm planning to enjoy my Halloween on Mene a few days before the actual holiday. I'd rather do something fun with friends on Halloween night.

If you're stuck for a costume, just make some animal ears on a headband, or a mask or something. :)

Haha cool, hope you enjoy your time with friends! (I should probably talk to some of my friends about it and see if my mom will let me. Most likely a no cause of her super-protective powers lol)

Haha cool, make items from Menewsha and wear it on Halloween! That'd be creative!
