Has anyone heard of this manga before? It's not very popular, but hopefully there will be some people who know about it, and like it. xDD

So... it's about a girl named Haruna. She's more of the tomboyish type. She played softball when she was in middle school, and now that she's in high school, she wants to concentrate on falling in love and getting a boyfriend.. BUT~ she has no common sense on that... and she needs help, and someone to coach her. ;D
So there's this guy that becomes her "coach" after a while... and he helps her with a lot of things, like fashion, speech, etc.. so the story continues like that...

Here's a simpler summary from Anime News Network:

Haruna used to play softball in middle school, as a result she's a muscular tomboy whose never had a boyfriend. Now that she's entered high school she's determined to change all that by becoming feminine, get her first boyfriend and fall in love. There she meets handsome and popular Yoh, who reluctantly agrees to coach her in the ways of men and dating, under one condition: Haruna cannot fall in love with HIM.

Do you know about this manga? - I read chapter 1 in Shojo Beat magazine.
Do you like it? - I really like it, I bought volume 1 of the manga.
Who are your favorite characters, and why? - I have to say that Yoh is my favorite character, because he's somewhat different than other shojo manga guys.

it's very shojo cliche but it's still so charming i LOVE it

Who are your favorite characters, and why? - i really love Yoh and Haruna, not because they are the main ones but because i just really like their characters. Haruna is so straightforward and in soooooo many ways i can relate to her. While Yoh i can also relate to for other reasons, i think he is charming and excellent, but together they bring so many laughs - *LOVE*

Yoh and Haruna aren't the "perfect" couple, but it's like.. when you see them together, a smile is formed on your face.. at least on mine. xD

I actually discovered the manga before it was published in the US, so I read it online and continued doing so, therefore I don't have any volumes of it. xD;;

I really love this series though.. it's my favorite out of the 200+ romance/shoujo mangas I've read. xD

Yay High School Debut. This manga is really awesome. It can be cliche at times, but the art is really pretty and I can't help but wish I was Haruna. D: I think I've read up to vol. four now. I'm waiting for the next one to come out already!

I love High School Debut. Yoh and Haruna really make a cute couple. I don't like Yoh's sister though. The manga always makes me laugh. Especially since Haruna is both dense and naive.
