Yes, the book has the same title. And it si by Anette Kurtis Clause (I'm not sure if that's the spelling.) The book was better than the movie though.

Just wondering how so?
Should I read the book before watching the movie?

Well, in the movie, she ended up with one guy and did something to the other, but in the book, the one guy she ended up with in the movie, she didnt end up with, and the one that she did something to, she ended up with, and I just liked that way so much better than the one in the movie.

I dont know, I just like books better than movies. I saw the movie before reading the book. I dont think it matters which you do first.

Its okay.

Well, my opinion is a bit biased here. I personally liked Twilight before it was popular, and now i don't really like it because of how popoular its getting. And I haven't seen teh movie for Twilight yet. However, I think that compared to Blood and Chocolate, Twilight follows the book better.

The book does have the same title, and the book is very, very, very good! One of my favorites, as a matter of fact.

I'm not even going to watch the movie. I heard it had terrible acting, terrible script, terrible everything, and that it was WAY different from the book. Ugh. I do not want to subject myself to that. DX

It's only one book- and one of the best books I've read in awhile, to boot. However, if you read the book first, you won't want to watch the movie(As they change EVERYTHING), so if you're remotely interested in the movie, don't read the book. However, I highly recommend that you do, and skip the movie. As for what's better, I liked Blood and Chocolate more. The characters were a lot more realistic, the main heroine wasn't helpless, and the main male character wasn't FLAWLESS. >_<;. And the author doesn't go out of her way to overly describe how hot the main male character is on every other page.

I have read the book and seen the movie. I think the movie actually came out a while ago...anyways, I didn't like it very much to be honest. It was like the book and all but they definitely didn't spare any expenses on the special effects. D:

Do they at least have any good actors/actresses?

They have Hugh Dancy, Olivier Martinez, and...crap, what's the girl's name? -will get back to you on that- I think it's like...Agatha, or Agnes, or something.

Really, I dont think I've ever seen any of the actors in that movie in any otehr movie.

EDIT: Agnes Bruckner.

Hugh Dancy sounds so familiar.....was he in Ella Enchanted?
If so I like him as an actor
I'm shocked he made something bad, or at least not the greatest thing ever watched

yeah, I think he was. Hugh Dancy was teh only name I actually recognized. And I really liked him in Ella Enchanted. But I liked Olivier Martinez better in B&C. The movie itself wasn't bad, as long as you hadn't read teh book. But they did change everything. If you can make yourself think of the movie as a totally seperate thing, then maybe you'll like it.

I've been in love with Blood and Chocolate(the book) since it came out. I'm a werewolf obsessee! The movie has a few key points of the book. All the main characters are there. But they aren't like they are in the book like Tut'ankhamun said. But the movie is worth watching because they way they took the script in the movie is quite interesting and enjoyable.

As for whats better Twilight or Blood and Chocolate. That's like asking the age old question: Vampire or Werewolf? Seriously you can't compare the two. Vampires have the aged beauty thing on their side while werewolves have raw power and feral beauty. I prefer werewolves to be truthful. More real, more human in my opinion. They also age and can grow old with you.

Twilight the movie was....fantastic. It skipped over a lot of things in the book and even changed somethings around but it was still great and hit $193 in the box office in its first 3 weeks. Fantastic yes? LOL

>.> Annette Kurtis Claus is the author of Blood and Chocolate. You can find it at any book store. And if you're into vampires she has a book called Silver Kiss. Also good but don't try to compare it to Twilight. Its way older ^-^

The book totally owned the movie. To say that the movie was lightly based off the book would be pretty accurate. Mostly the same characters with a generally similar plot. Otherwise, I would have to say that they were two completely different things all together. You get more enjoyment from the book than the movie.

Book is better than the movie. The movie didn't follow the book's plot and to me that was a major disappointment.
