Has anyone ever read the comic Ruse? It's about a detective named Simon Archard, and his partner Emma. It's a fantastic read for those who haven't read it and they're releasing the omnibus soon, though through another publisher as CrossGen went bust a while back. I believe the genre is more of a Gaslight Romance, since it's not specifically Steampunk, but it is set in the Victorian era, with a hint of magic around it.
