Paranormal discussion: My cat stares at one of the doorways to our living room pretty much every night. It's creepy. He just stares, transfixed. Then, he gets really hyper and mean.
It's really creepy, because my mom says she's seen my dad's ghost in our house before.
Plus, my brother, when he was younger, would sleepwalk, and he said that there was this guy in the house that told him to get a gun and kill all of us. So, he'd sleepwalk towards the gun rack, which we got rid of. Our house is suspected to be built on a Native American burial ground.

Tireth: My books are all in my bedroom upstairs so I'm just trying to remember them. The search thing was broken before it kept saying there was no results when there should have been. You would go from page 2 to page 3 and it would suddenly say 'no results found'.
I tried to read the Discworld books in order of series so I read The Fifth Elephant pretty early on because I started with the Guards books. Where do I sign up for my Rufus Drumknott? ^^
Paranormal: Apparently I used to freak my mum out by saying stuff like "Why is there a man on the stairs?" when I was little, but I can't remember if I was actually seeing stuff or just being a pain.

I used to work shelving books at a library late at night. I always ended up with the basement level. Even though I knew I was alone down there, I could here someone whistling every time I had to work down there. Always the same tune. There would just be two of us working, and the other person would be three stories up. Everyone who worked down there had similar experiences--lights flickering, whistling, books where there where no books before...

@kat - sometimes scripts that turn out multiple pages of results do that. google does it a lot.
and you should just go grab a few handfuls and go back downstairs to put them in, take them back up, rinse, repeat. :] i was doing that with my books even though i have a laptop. i didn't feel like continually standing on my step stool to input the top six shelves. @[email protected]
i have the first three of discworld plus the fifth elephant, sooo i think i'll just grab a few every time i buy books. XD it's one of those series where it doesn't matter which book you read first.
@dani - OMGOMGOMGOMG!!!
SQUEEFANGIRLOMFG.
@shadow - creeps!!
also. your library has multiple floors? O_O ours up in jersey was one level (sprawling and huge, but only one) and most of the libraries here (as far as i've seen) are small one-story buildings and don't have much of a selection, but there are about a dozen in the entire city. (of course it'll take about 30 min or more to get to the north side of the city from here on the south side)
ps.
someone tell me why two of my three cats feel the constant need to just chill on my bed.

@Leenie: Saw it, marked, already planned to read it. Get with the times. xD
@shadowfoot: Awesome I want to work in your library. As leenie mentioned before I have ghost kitties in my basement. Since I can remember there's always been mewing and such in my basement, and you always she cats out of the corner of your eyes. When I was eight or nine I had a sleepover in my basement and a friend of mine was allergic to cats, she woke yelling at me to get my cat off of her or she was going to die. At that time my cat was at the vets recovering from surgery, sooooo...

Sorry, I forget that even though you work in a book store you are not up to date on books. Please tell me you at least know about Princess Princess + ?
Also, it wasn't Kim, that was before I met her. Over half my friends are allergic to at least one of my animals.
It's snowing here.
PS I forgot to mention while I was reading it but in The Laughing Corpse this was said about a vampire: "Sexy. Like a silk teddy bear."

Hamilton is beast : D
The Anita Blake Series is the only one that I really read, though now there's a lot more sex then paranormal investigations. Which I hope her new one has : D

I'm almost done with Circus of the Damned, (Somebody take my books away because yes this will equal three books in two days. xD ) and for all his arrogance I wanna steal Jean-Claude. Steal him and lock him in my basement and keep him forever. :angel:
I love how so far there's no sex and then it tips the other way towards the newer books. Happy medium please? xD

EDIT: I've finished Circus of the Damned. ::hangs head in defeat as she reaches for another book::
Also is it just me or did the white hair disappear? Cause it looks gray now... ::confused::

@dani - i believe you told me about princess princess + a while ago. really, like i told kat, i don't realise to check things unless they are in front of me. most of my news about things i enjoy, even, are happened upon by complete chance.
also. wow. the only person i know that's deathly allergic to domestic pets is kim. o_o;;
haha. snow. i wish we got snow. it was 80F out today. i went to the doctors and brought a jacket and mom laughed at me.
snort. a silk teddy bear? XD
speaking of books, send me my ugly goddess in that box, too. XD
and i have no clue about the white hair. go check the colour options.
ps.
funny. when i type "color" in a text box in my browser, it comes up as correct, but when i type it in my default text editor, it wants to change it to "colour" (i have my language on the computer set as british english. :3)
pps.
MATTHEW MACFADYEN CAN YELL AT ME IN THE RAIN ANYTIME. <333
ppps.
oh dear. i need to take a break from watching p&p. just a little break.
i've watched it eight times in the past 36 hours.

@tireth: Sloooooow down on the Watching of Pride & Prejudice.
8 times is an awful lot of times to be watching that film.
The only film I've watched ridiculous amounts of times in one sitting is Hot Fuzz.

@Leenie: Will do with the ugly goddess. Princess Princess + comes out in America in April. Yay.
Actually a lot of people are allergic to long haired cats but not short haired, thus you wouldn't know. Kelly can't stop sneezing at my house. xD Put down P&P. I was able to walk away from Phantom, you can do this.
@Cherry: I refreshed the page last night and then boom, inverted and grey. I though maybe I'd been awake to long.
ps - I hate it when you get a paper back book from the library and they cover it with that really stiff laminate. I have to struggle with the book for it to stay open.

@Bishie: The library covered the title of the book (on the side) With all the stickers. It took me about 20 minutes of sifting through every book by the author to find the one I wanted. I don't think workers at my library think very much.
