 Oh! You're on now! Yep, you're welcome. Seeing as how I'm not really an artist, it's hard for me to really critique the art from that standpoint, but honestly, your art is rivaling Amy Brown's for my fave fairies.

Yeah, I can understand that. I kinda do the same thing with my writing. My favorite authors tend to influence little things with that. Sometimes I intentionally borrow something and other times I read through and go "WTF? Where did that come from?"
No, different I suppose than you, but similar too.

Ne way, just checked you DA and all I can think is...

almost everyone liked it! :o or they just walked straight past me [possible, because there were 2 other ladies in the same space as i was ^^]...

lots of people advised me to go illustrate childrens novels.
and a lot of grannies wished that theyre granddaughteres were there, " 'cause they would've LOVED your drawings" :D [fairies, i guess every girl/child gets through a 'fairy-phase' ... :D]

I don't know....I guess I might have been....I was the more realistic one of the bunch though. I wanted them to be real, but I already knew that they weren't. My childhood must have just caught up to me recently because now I absolutely love all things fantasy!

Yep, I've been enjoying it pleasantly for close to 5 years now....(19 and could pass for maybe 7 mentally! XD) Also been enjoying my vampire, dragon, and werewolf/cat/whatever phases too! (Call me crazy, but anymore I like the dark side of fantasy...with the exception of fairies)

when i was... 10? i read a LOT of vampire/werewolves books... i loved all the 'folklore' behind it, ya know: how they were created, how they can be killed, and ofcourse, a good story is everything^^ :D
i even read ALL the fairytales from grimm at that same age... it was a giant yellow book, with all the fairytales from the brothers grim. well, they were the 'real!' fairytales... not the cencored ones that usually were told. a lot of those stories were actually kind of creepy/sad/scary :D but cool! :D

i wonder where my mum has put that book ^^

Oh wow! I would kill to have that book!
My parents always read us the nice ones with no gorey details....I do love all the folklore behind things and actually, there's a great book that kinda almost had a bit of background with fairies....you know the seelie and unseelie(?) courts-type of thing. Really good...called Tithe.

And now I'm babbling....
