Pausing Azara was silent for a minute. She needed to figure out something to do but she was beginning to feel defeated. Maybe she should break her promise to Naerwen and just kill the man. No one would miss him. Sighing Azara dropped her head to Percival's chest and let it rest for a second. Then straigtning up she spoke. "So you're saying in order to take Naerwen, Roderick is going to have to get another innocient Elven girl and destroy her like he did the others?" The Dutchess was not happy, not at all. She was starting to become sad and didn't want to know the outcome of what tonight was going to be.

Percival sighed, "No, I am saying in order to take Naerwen, you have to let Roderick take the most intimate part of her. He has a handful of girls right now. Offering a replacement for her may work, but I'm not too sure." Percival shrugged lightly and sighed. One of his hands moved to her back and pat it gently, "Why don't we sit down to supper, hm? Perhaps we will think of a better plan of action on a full stomach."

Azara closed her eyes and lowered her head. She couldn't let that happen to Naerwen. "Oh I so do hate people like Lord Roderick, they just make this beautiful world ugly." Smiling slightly when he patted her on the back she nodded to him. "Yes I think will both think better on a full stomach." Azara stopped dancing and waited for Percival to take the lead like a Lady should do. But oh did Azara miss home, there she didn't have to act like a proper Lady all the time.

Percival took her arm and took her slowly to one of the long tables set up along the walls. They were lined with food and drink. It was marvelous. He pulled out a chair for her to sit and smiled kindly to her.

As Azara sat she looked up to Percival and smiled back to him. "I do say my Lord you are to kind. It pleases me that there are still gentlemen in this world."

He gave her a handsome smile and gently pushed her chair in when she sat down. He sat next to her and made himself comfortable, "A compliment my mother would be glad to hear."

He glanced about for a moment before deciding what he wanted to eat. He slowly began to fill his plate, deciding to start a lighter conversation, "So, my Lady, what brings you to London?"

Still smiling Azara began to fill up a plate to. "I heard about the tournament and I decided I must come. I've been cooped up in my home for to long and I needed to get out. Plus my Father always told me that to be a noble is to always show up at events if it's possible."

Percival nodded as he began to eat. He took a moment to swallow, "Makes sense, I suppose. Are you enjoying the tournament?" He glanced to her as he sipped some wine. He looked around the room, his eyes settling on Roderick for a moment, but he quickly looked away.

After popping a grape in her mouth Azara picked up her wine and swirled it around in her glass before taking a small sip. "I am enjoying it. I have to say the jousting has been my favorite so far. Is that all your going to be participating in?"

He nodded lightly, taking another sip, "I'm too old to participate in anything else." He let out a laugh, setting his goblet down, "I'm not agile enough anymore."

He nibbled on a sweet roll and leaned back in his chair, "Are you attending any of the other events?"

"Surely you are not to old my Lord. After seeing you get hit earlier and managing to be walking around I can't imagine that you're not agile enough for anything," Azara said with a smile after taking a sip of her wine and taking a bite out of some cheese. "I was thinking about attending some of the others. I'm not sure what one's yet though I'm afraid. Do you have any recomendations?"

Percival smiled lightly, his cheeks coloring lightly when she commented the hit he took earlier. He watched her for a moment, then thought, "Well, archery is always fun to watch. I enjoy the sword event greatly as well. Those are the only two I like, really," he sipped at his wine.

Azara sat and swirled her wine as Percival watched her. She gave him a soft smile back to the one he gave her, brightening when he mentioned archery. "Oh I do love watching the archers. That one should be fun." At home that was one of Azara's hobbies that she liked to pass time with, the other being in the art of the daggers. Oh how she loved tossing them through the air and striking her target. Taking a sip of her wine she looked to Percival over her glass. "Is there anything to do with daggers here my Lord?" She asked politely.

She stared at him a moment.
"I am afraid Sir Roderick we will have to agree to disagree on this one. I will always treat my servants like family because if I was in there postion I can only hope they would do the same."

Percival thought for a moment, swishing his wine in his mouth for a moment. He quickly swallowed and shook his head, "Not that I know of, my Lady. A few tournaments that I went to in France had dagger tossing, however. Perhaps you should take a trip there next time," he smiled kindly at her.

Roderick nodded lightly, though it was obvious that he wanted to comment further, "Alright, then, my Lady. We will speak no more of it." He waited a few moments, then motioned to the tables, "Are you hungry, m'Lady?"

"Hmm I shall have to make that trip then. I am fasinated by daggers." Looking up from her glass from which she had been swirling her wine around in, Azara smiled to Percival. "If you don't mind and don't think its to bold of me to ask. Would you mind accompanying me tomorrow? That is if you don't already have some beautiful lady you'll be escorting." Azara wasn't sure why she asked Percival of this but she considered him a friend and enjoyed his company.

She sighed and closed her eyes. This was going to be a difficult night.
"Yes some food would be lovely."
She stood by the table nearby and waited for him to pull out her chair.

Percival smiled and a bit of color graced his cheeks once more, "My Lady, I would be honored to escort you." He set his wine glass down and popped a few grapes in his mouth.

Roderick pulled her chair out for her, of course. He knew better. Even if she had already challenged something he said, he wouldn't make a fool out of either one of them.

SItting down gracefully she ganeced around for Range. She seemed to be bored and watchin her still. She wished she could have range come sit wth them but she was sure Roderick would have something to say bout that.

After taking a sip of her wine Azara smiled back to Percival. "And I am honered that you will escort me. I do have to admit, I enjoy being in your company very much. You're quick with smiles and laughter, unlike most of the uppities here." Reaching to her plate Azara picked up a strawberry and started to nibble on it. The Dutchess almost groaned, she so did love her strawberries.

Striker had drifted over by the table when Azara and Percival had. He had leaned against the wall and had positioned himself so he could watch her but also to keep an eye on Roderick. Noticing Range a few feet away Striker pushed off the wall and walked over to her. Standing a few steps away so she didn't feel threatened. Striker knew how guards could be, since well he was one. "That man surely is a piece of work. I wish I could ram him with my sword but I think Azara would be cross if I did that." He said to her in a quiet tone while still watching Azara.

Percival smiled as he took in a hearty bite of roasted chicken. He sipped his wine carefully to help wash it down as he listened to her. He laughed lightly, placing his hand in front of his mouth as he finished swallowing, "Well, I thank you, my Lady. When I was very sick as a boy, my mother had a Pixie doctor brought to my bedside. He said that laughter is the most powerful medicine of all. I took that advice to heart. So I laugh as often as possible. Keeps an old man healthy." He laughed lightly again and took a bite of potatoes. His eyes rolled up into the back of his head momentarily. Once he swallowed, he grinned, "I do declare that these potatoes are as powerful a medicine for the heart as laughter!"

Roderick sat beside Yazelina and began to fill his plate with little things here and there. He was silent for the moment. He seemed to be thinking about something. His features twitched lightly. He didn't seem happy, but it left as soon as it came, "So, my Lady, how long do you plan on staying in London?"

-:Sorry it took so long :\ I got wrapped up in stuff:-

"Indeed laughter is the best medicine." Azara replied with a small laugh. Taking a bite of her own potatoes she nodded her head vigorisly. "You are right my Lord. These potatoes are wonderful, so full of taste." Taking another bite she chased it down with a sip of her wine. "I'm so glad we found each other Lord Percival. I do say if you weren't here I might die of bordome!" She stated with a small laugh.

Percival laughed lightly again, "Yes, I might have as well. I suppose that is the one thing we can truly thank Roderick for." Percival leaned back in his chair and locked eyes with the younger man. He gave a nod, then looked back to Azara. "And he is glaring daggers this way. Let us hope we do not burst into flames."

Roderick nodded stiffly back to the older man as he listened to Yazelina. He nibbled on a grape, then glanced to her when she asked what he was thinking about. He motioned subtly to the table across the way, "Lady Azara took something from me that I prize highly. I am afraid that it's taking more than expected to have it returned to me."

Shifting her head Azara looked to Lord Roderick. As she slowly raised her wine glass up to her mouth she perked her ears so she could listen in on his conversation. Keeping her face calm she took a sip, but inside she was churrning. Something that he highly prizes... she thought to herself. Smiling she turned towards Percival. "Oh I shall very much hope that we don't." She said with a light laugh. "I must say that man does have one mean glare!"
