My partner is pretty gifted at art in general I'm pretty jealous but one day I'll have her teach me.

I sort of am envious of those who can do digital art well...it takes me ages to do something crap. XD

just keep drawing what you see, eventually you get a knack for it... I dunno. lousy advice, I know. I can help with critiques but I'm not very good at teaching art.

I do feel I can draw by hand on paper relatively well though. Although it depends on what I'm drawing and whether I've got something to look at to base my drawing on or not.

i draw better when i don't think too much. 8D

I'm terrible at teaching... I can only teach poetry and computer literacy... that's all

I used to be able to teach when I was a kid, I don't know how I lost that ability to be able to explain how to do things. I taught a friend how to swim and ice skate, maybe that particular friend was super smart so she picked up the basics.

Recently I tried to teach another friend how to use chopsticks the 'proper' way. He didn't get it, said he'd practice and just continued to use them the criss cross way and when that failed him he just used a fork. xD

I have a hard time learning myself sometimes, so i wouldn't able to teach others. :D

Teaching is a real skill, I believe many supposedly qualified teachers can't teach either.

Yeah. i've had a few teachers like that. :D

There was this one time I had a maths teacher in high school who as nice as he was personality wise, could not teach me, probably didn't help that I am really bad at maths in the first place. I ended up getting a 0 in one of the tests for that class....even though I had actually attempted the test.

Probably. I think I was putting a lot of pressure on myself to do well at school, and not in a good way.

I wish i would have studied harder. I was so lazy and didn't even bother with school.

@ Ling - Poet uses chopsticks differently, but only so that poet can hold onto things tighter. Poet was told it's a permitted way to hold them though.
