I asked my bf to draw a picture for the competition but then I remembered I stood on his tablet and brook the screen a few weeks ago. :oops:

I used to hate drawing with a tablet, though coloring/painting wasn't bad, but have been forcing myself a little to do it and it's not as bad as it used to be. I still do prefer the good old pencil, paper, and scanner thing, though I think I'm starting to get lazy because using the scanner seems like a total chore!

Computer art is still hand drawn, though. You're just using a stylus rather than a pencil.

Lol. I hated my tablet. It was so cumbersome and unnatural.

SO i decided just try to get good with tradition media, lol.

Yeah, I'm trying to force myself to do more traditional, especially because I can do it while hanging out with the baby. I really don't like being glued to a computer screen while she's awake, but if I'm able to spread out at the table while she's playing with her little kitchen set or something, it's all good because I can still give her attention.

it does not feel hand drawn to me. it feels all computer like.

I tried with just colouring and painting with it, but I gave up.

I actually love seeing how the colours blend with colour pencils, and I just do not see all that magic with the tablet.

besides, i feel, if you are going to try and make it look like pencil and paper, coloured pencil, watercolour, oil paintings, or pastels, then why not actually get off the computer and actually make a piece of art with the actual materials?

Of cours,e this means my pics take ages nand nobdy realizes.

Computer art is what I love for! It is so much more versatile than traditional, and saves time if you decide to change proportions in the end =D I'm a 3d animator but I want to be a digital texturist and painter

I know! I tried pixeling for a while and gave up. I didn't like working on small bases but big bases are really hard.
