Thanks so much, guys! I'm actually dreading having to wear pants regularly again and such, but it's looking like I'll be working from home some of the week too, so I'm hopeful that no-pants can continue to an extent!
Gah, well... we'll see. I signed a 90-day contract so if I hate it, I can move on to greener pastures! This has been a painful time of year to be unemployed since jobs are slim to begin with, so a summertime job hunt would be better.

Ugh, guys. My supervisor injured her shoulder, so I got called in on my day off and have been working by myself since then. So much overtime @__@;; I'm seriously so drained x_x

i've been listening to this album a lot lately. it's the most similar to their first album of all their albums, and all of the songs are pretty solid bangers. (i actually can't think of a p!atd song that isn't a banger... but still)
I like that song, Ghost. I looked it up a few months back when I saw a clip (i think it was a short funny video during the making of) with him dressed as the demon and I was intrigued. I like supernatural/fantasy stuff and was hoping it was from something interesting to watch. The song was good all the same. lol I do like a lot of their music. Makes me think of high school.
And speaking of fantasy, I've started the show "The Shannara Chronicles" today, and I am quite fond. I have bought a few of the books whenever I see them at a used book store, but haven't gotten the first yet so I've never actually read them. But the show is good, so it's making me wonder if I should start reading them after all. Maybe stop by the library.
I am getting paid time and a half for the overtime, Howdykins. Which considering I get paid quite well, isn't half bad :) But a bummer she's out for the week, since it means i'm flying by the seat of my pants. But she had to work 4 months straight with no days off before I got here, so I think I can manage for a while. Today was the last day medicating chimps, so I will have a lot more time now. Probably won't have to do overtime without that, besides the days she would usually be off. If all works out, she will be able to come back in before I have to work more days off. Fingers crossed. Although, I am looking forward to that next paycheck. Perhaps I will treat myself to some sushi ;)
Oh, I don't watch the videos usually. lol So I guess I didn't know the video was sad. Just like the song. Youtube just plays songs while I go about my buisness, so I never have the tab open to watch videos. I'm a multitasker, always doing something.

PatD makes me think of high school too. all their songs are totally still bangers tho. and oh man, that would be cool if it was part of a bigger thing! i'm a huge fan of the supernatural too (obvs). i liked how all their music videos for this album told a story. Don't Threaten Me With a Good Time's video was about bodysnatchers. :0

Yeah, they have held on all this time. I wish it was something bigger! I feel like it would be really interesting and funny. We need more good funny stuff that isn't this drama crap that is all over.
It's based in a sort of post-apocolyptic setting where our modern society has died and demons arose and humans evolved into elves and gnomes and the like, and some humans remained, and magic arose. It's actually rather interesting if you like fantasy. I like stuff that has magic, so I've been enjoying it, and it's action/adventure too.
I always love me some Weird Al Yankovic. I met his wife and daughter, and they are wonderful people.
