We had issues trying to find a new place a few years ago, nothing quite that bad, because we were only trying to rent/rent-to-own, but it was sucky. We were "approved" for a place, but then they didn't like that our old place wrote the wrong apartment on the form, and that the SOs work messed up his W-2, so they backed out just before we signed a final agreement. And mind you we only had like... a few weeks to find something new because our lease was up on the apartment. It's like these people don't understand that we're people, with lives, and need places to live. D:

Hopefully you can get it sorted out quickly, or something. :/

we seriously need a place to live.... I've got two kiddos and I'm out a home. I was to be out by April 30th....

What do you mean you are out your down payment? If your loan didn't come through there should be a contingency clause that allows you to get your earnest money back. Sounds like a bunch of horse shit to me. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help you out. Would you by chance happen to have a copy of your purchase contract for the property?
