I don't know? He paints them because it is required by law to repaint everything that is painted in an apartment here. It's supposed to be the same with carpet unless you get a really good carpet cleaner and it looks nice, otherwise you have to change that every time as well.

As for the art class...it is an art history class. I just don't care for the types of artwork the class is about. :/ I like the earlier stuff for the most part.
