To bad there so freaking expensive T.T I ask for them ever year for X-mass but now I have the excuse that I need them for class and can spend financial Aid on the hehehehe

I always mess up proportions with perspective. Whether it's people or objects or anything like that. I think "that doesn't look right" and then draw it even more wrong. D:

well studio calss means i am doing a school right now, but as for what I draw, there is people, ideas, dragons, almsot everytig really. I have been doing a decent amount design stuff.

Wow, that's cool, do you mean designs as more of like something that would be on a logo, or a t-shirt or a pattern type thing?

well I am building chainmail dress later, so yes a pattern, but i also design buildings

Okay First and most important a ruler >.< I do everything in 1/4 inch scale so for every foot something is it's drawn at 1/4 of inch. an archects scale is nice because it take all the math out for you and just has 1 at the the 1/4 part of the ruler so you avoid math completely >.< But not really necessary. ANYWAYS so your back wall is your starting point draw it as a box there generally about 7-9 feet tall and however long. It looks like it's to small know but wait. Then pick your Horizon line (generally at about 5 to 6 "feet") and then pick a vanishing point anywhere on the line. Then from there do the ceiling and the floor with the vanishing point. Then take a line from the diagonal of the bottom corner of the "room " at an angle to where you want your "line of site" to drop out. This is probably the hardest part. the more extream your angle the farther back you are "standing" the more wide the angle the closer you are "standing" So go for something that's "roughly" 45 degrees... then mark out an even foot along the "floor" line of your back wall and extend the lines all the way to the end of your paper just straight. Then where ever the diagonal line intersects the vertical line draw a horizontal line. Voila you have a foot by foot grid in perspective! Now you can just place everything on the "tiles" which I'll admit is kind of like playing battleship if your working of the plan >.< This table is 6 squares across and 4 squares over >.< I'm kinda a freak and put the grid on the walls as well just because it make finding the height of everything easier >.< After that it's just your basic 1-point perspective boxes and elaborations.

Whew that was long ! I hope that's not to hard to fallow it was like a 1 lecture summarized
