Not once have I ever played zOMG. What's it all about?

In zomg, inanimate objects have come to life.

You use rings to blast them, and for each one you kill you get some gold or recipe ingredient.

I have played ZOMG my self when it was still in beat testing it was a lot of fun.

Eesh. Gaia. I just got un-addicted to it. I mean, it was fun for a while, but people were so mean and really thug and gangster. <:( I mean, I'm not trying to be mean or racist, but seriously. This place is cheaper and everyone is so nice here. And the avatars are SO much better. Plus, you get to change your avatar's features for free. :) I loved zOMG. But it got really tireding after a while once I got all the way up to Shallow Seas.

So, what do you guys think of the new collectibles?
To me they sorta seem...like they weren't all that great... I mean, the serpent one had four things. Usually the MCs have more than that.
But maybe that's just me. o:

I think the smaller number of poses was due to the extra effort of making six setting for each of the hand held poses.

As for what I think of them ..... Menewsha Monthlies > Gaia Monthlies this time.

I think Menewsha's monthly item thingies are usually better. :) Mostly because on Gaia you can only equip one pose at a time! And they make it so the individual pieces don't look all that great by themselves... But that's worse with the EIs than the MCs.

That is a nice thing about menewsha that we can use all the poses at once of a copy.

It would not bother me so much that we can't do it on gaia if it weren't for the fact that they have stuff I want that is ten million gold that must be gotten in the Marketplace rather than cash.

Exactly! And some EIs are like $10, but each evolution is like a set that's supposed to be worn together...it's cruel! D:

But it is still easier to spend $100 and get ten $10 evolving items than it is to spend $110 dollars on RIGged box bundles, sell them, and buy only one 10,000,000 gold top RIGged box prize.

Yeah, especially cause they put all the cool items in the RIGs. :(

Ugh. Gaia inflation. It makes me crazy! The prices of some of the RIG items are just outlandish! I have quite a bit of pure right now, but that'd only get me one nice RIG item. It's sad. :( Things just aren't what they used to be on Gaia, economy-wise. And I don't Booty Grab, so I don't make much money there, since I'm never online. I go to change my outfit and check a few of my B&C thread subscriptions, and that's about it.

I thought the DIs this month kinda sucked. I'm not a huge fan. I haven't missed getting a DI yet, since I've been on the site, so I hate to NOT buy it. It's just part of the collection. :lol: Like, the Horsemen DI. I have that, but it's really hideous. :/ But it's part of my collection, so I have to keep it. XP

But I hate armor sets in DIs, because that's just a rip off! You have to buy six of them to get the entire set, which is not really cost-effective. :/ I've been spoiled by Menewsha, totally. I love being able to use multiple poses from one item. :yes: Anyway, the armor isn't that impressive IMO. I don't know how it's electric at all... :?

The snake goddess thing could have been way cooler. I was expecting more, based on the artwork I saw before the items were released. I'll probably get one of those, for the hair pose. I think I can rock it. XD

Another thing that bothers me about some of the newer items is that the color schemes are totally different from so many other items, so if you do only get ONE, it's so hard to actually use it. D:

While the new colors are really nice, I have a horrible time making a really nicely matched avatar on there. With the limits of the layering system, it's hard to work in those odd shades if you don't have multiple of the item. :yes:

I've been absent from that site as much as I've been absent from here (with the exception of Phoenix Jubilee). It's only in the past few days that I've gone back to Gaia, just to play zOMG. I haven't been active on it for about two years. And now I'm addicted again.

It's so brutal how the inflation has gone up so much. I mean, there's that one store for "luxury" items now for things worth millions of gold (which I don't even have because I have a "measly" 180,000 gold on there. Too bad it used to be the standard back then. I miss the old Gaia, when it was still Go-Gaia. Whatever happened to that? The items are nice...but they haven't even updated the furniture store in YEARS. What's the use? I have about...nine accounts there, possibly ten, and they're full of items I don't even pay attention to anymore.

Yeah. :lol: My main has about a "measly" 1,800,000 on it, too. I also have nine accounts, and babysit a friend's account soometimes since she does not have a computer.

They need new luxury stuff in Dernier Cri. Inflation is out of control there.

Housing has not been worked on because the person who made it left. It was programed in some sort of special flashplayer or java program that no one else on their staff knows how to program in. It actually needs to be completely redone in the programing zomg uses.

If 1,800,000 gold is measly, then what is 13,000? xD

I'm actually more active on Gaia than I am here, mainly because I work in some B/C shops over there. (I'm Seiana_ZI, in case anyone was wondering)

But the inflation over there is out of control! I have no real source of gold since Aquarium only works for me so long as my computer doesn't lag, I'm not an artist, and I can't afford to pay Gaia real money. So no matter how much I come up with by just posting and lurking, it's never enough and I can't afford anything I want to afford over there. I can't get any art without spending all my gold on one piece, forget getting any good items, forget customs... It makes me rather annoyed with Gaia a lot of the time; they need to find some way to control the inflation.

But still, I probably won't ever stop going there as long as the B/C shops I like are still open. Gaia, as much as I get agitated with it, still somehow manages to keep pulling me in. I can't win XD

I decided to offer art for donations in my gaia quest thread, but no one has taken me up on my offer.

Okay, so I love how Gaia is having a spring cleaning thing where we vote on the things that need fixing the most. :) (Even though it's not really spring now. xD)

Haha, I actually did make a lot of money by playing Booty Grab for a little while; as long as I played Booty Grab games that had a lot of watermeats or dolphins in the tank...

Only problem with that is my computer would lag out after a couple games and I'd have to shut down my internet browser and erase all my cookies and temporary internet files. Really, it just became not worth it.

I would try to play booty grab with other people's tanks, but it took like a half an hour to make a few thousand gold...definitely not worth it!
