I don't really like the "catch the NPC" event.
It's interesting and I'm sure a lot of people find it fun, but it's just not my kind of thing. It's like an Easter egg hunt with a lot more stress. XP

Well, I'm not a fan of clicky-pets, so getting the egg isn't that big of a deal to me.

I'm not really into them, but these you can equip. And so I didn't know if it would turn into something I might like.

You get a Chihuahua for your avatar from it, as well as being able to use the pink purse.

I am with Solia as Vampireprayer.
I was absent from it for a few months and when I come back there is all this pet and profession stuff. I don't understand any of it and my eggs keep being angry and won't hatch. I don't know what I am doing. ><

But I like the avatars and the environment there.

You can keep your eggs and pets happy by providing them with certain items to boost their mood or experience.
Each item has a cool-down time after you click it.
A really cheap mood-booster you can buy in the Pet Shop is the Bait.
If you go to your pet's screen and click "Give/Take" items, then give your pet some bait, you and other people can click on it to raise their mood.
Some experience-boosting items are the Heaven's Cloak, the Fantasma, and the Brymstone, I do believe.
Some items work only with certain pets, but a majority of the items work with all the pets.

Thanks, I have the bait for one of my eggs but it is useless because I don't check on it at the right times so it is just the same or worse as it was before by the time I check again. :P

I rarely ever check on my pets, though.
I put them in my signature, but they're all so pissed off that they wouldn't evolve anyways. XD
I'll probably just un-register them.

Yeah my pets are all really pissed and I have gone to click the bait on the one but I never go back in time for it to make a difference. ><
They will probably never hatch.

If they don't have a lot of experience points/levels, you could probably just un-register them, and then register them again.
That way, you could restart and keep them happy.

Solia is my main avatar site at the moment and for the past few months.
It's got a rather more mature outlook and a nice over 18 crowd. I tend to avoid the main forums where the regulars hang out because they're a bit obnoxious... but overall I'm very comfortable on that site.

I don't go into the TS very much anymore... but I've been distant in general lately. Mostly I hang out in the quest threads since I'm part of two of them, then I have a couple rps going with a friend, and I hang out in the games forum from time to time. I'm also running a writing contest on there right now. Deadline is coming up fast again, though. I think it's tomorrow... I should go double check to see if I've got any last minute entrants.

I moved there from here and started hanging out. I like the general feel and prefered it for a min. but now am getting into using them both. My user name is the same on both sites. Add me if you would like. =>

Anyone know what the fairy business was all about?
A lot of people seem to dislike them?

Hehe. Yah. I run a few threads on there.

The fairys were a user-created thingy. The original fairy was the Luna Fairy. She was a mule account of an old-time user of Solia.
She created the mule to donate Luna to people who had been kind and helpful to the other users of the site, and she wanted to remain anonymous while doing it.
Anyways, other people saw she was doing this and wanted to get in on the action. Soon, a hangout was started, and there were dozens of fairys running around.

All the fairys followed a particular theme, and the ones who wanted to create a donation fairy donated items of the same theme. IE, the Solar Fairy handed out Solar items, while the Eclipse Fairy handed out Eclipse items.
Most of the fairys role-played their theme on their fairy account, as well.

A lot of people thought this was annoying, and there was a lot of harrassing and drama and all that basic TS crap.
I don't know why people had such a big problem with it. The fairy mules were to hand out donations to the nice people of Solia, and to newbies.
I guess people just didn't like a thousand accounts with "fairy" in the name. :/
But, because of all of this, the original fairy, the Luna Fairy, left the site for a while and was so pissed off at the users who had been harrassing the fairys.

Annnnnd theeeeen, some regular users went into the Dirty Little Secrets thread and started talking crap to each other about the fairy thing. They kept fighting about it, and harrassing each other, so Dekkard locked the thread.
That was when I wanted to rip someone's throat out. (I go in that thread a lot. >.>)

So, yah. Just your basic TS drama. It was a bunch of exaggerated crap, to me.
I thought it was nice of the fairys to do such a thing, and they were having innocent fun doing it.
