Where is Destin? Is that Florida, by Pensacola possibly? I know that they have white beaches there.

Sorry I disappeared, dinner.
The conversations held at holiday tables always amuse me to no end.

We had our easter dinner yesterday, because my aunt and uncle had to leave today. Our conversations revolved around my cousin and her dating. My uncle talks about how he threatens her boyfriends... I don't plan to introduce my boyfriend to my uncle and time soon. XD

So what did you all have for Easter dinner?
I used to love to have baked ham, rolls, mashed potatoes and corn.
Today unfortunately, I'm having nothing.
(I am "prepping" for a routine test)

Aww that's sad Granny.
We had ham though and rolls plus a couple different veggies.
@Cola: On conversations, they went explicit and hilarious. XD

I haven't lived around family for years.
Holiday dinners with all the cousins was quite a bit of fun I remember.
We did have the obligatory uncle who partakes a bit too much of the wine.

Granny: Aww D: . Yesterday, our Easter Dinner was a leg of lamb, mashed potatoes, and bread. Then we had chocolate cake for dessert.
edit: I hate it when my uncles drink a bit tooo much wine. They did that at Thanksgiving two years ago and upset my mum. D:
Dream: mmm explicit conversations are so fun :D XD

Its kind of like beef, but it has a more distinct flavor... Can't really describe it, but the juices make VERY good gravy!
When I first heard of it, I cried because I love sheep, but then I tried it and loved it. XD
My name is Mary, so everyone goes "Mary had a little lamb" and I just say,
"Yup, I did, And it was tasty :P"

I'll have to try it sometime.
We get tired of only chicken, beef, or pork. A different flavor would be nice.
We're eating more fish now, but one has to be careful of mercury levels also.

Back again - but Otto is fussy!!
I'm not sure how much more time I'm going to invest in gaia today - not even sure if I'll hit my goal. Yeah... lots of parts to that recipe! Good luck!
Granny - I haven't been to a family dinner in ages. Wouldn't know what to do with myself any longer! Good luck with your test tomorrow.

Thank you Elmira dear.
The test is actually on Tuesday. It's a two-day cleansing prep.
I'm just thankful that I only have to do this every 5 years!

Universities are much more difficult to get into nowadays, aren't they?

We just had Cheese cake and Lemon Meringue Pie. Yum!
My mum and I can't eat too much fish. She's sick and mercury is really bad for her. I'm not sick like her but I did inherit some parts of it, so I have to be extra careful.
Don't get me started on University entrance exams. Ugh. @_@ Those were horrid to do.

It is hard to get into universities. Instate tuition at UF is great, and my family has no money because my brother is going somewhere else, thus I pretty much have to get into one of the instate colleges. (And my parents hate FSU and I can't stand not going to a big school.)

Dream I would have thought I'd died and gone to heaven with that cheesecake :).
Cola, your parents should keep an open mind, and go with whichever Florida university you prefer.
My husband is an Aggie (Texas A&M), and his daughter chose to go to UT (University of Texas). Now, A&M and UT are bitter rivals, but he accepted her decision (and even paid for it).

It's fortunate that with the economy the way it is, that your parents can send you to the university.
