Occasionally I have to call the cable people and get them to screw around with the box... (the one outside). I live in an apartment complex, and (or so they explained to me) the connections often get messed with or accidentally pulled out. It's a possibility that someone was trying to steal my connection. I don't really know. x.x;;

It goes. Trying to decide what I should do today... I really need to clean up the house, or do homework, or take the dog out to the park... o.o;; And my stomach is killing me. xD
How're you doing, Queen? ^^

Doing all right for the time being. Glad that it's friday. Gotta figure out where I will get my hair cut today after work. Need to blow the pool up and then put water in it. The two massages that I was suppose to do this weekend both flaked on me. One had to reschedule and the other doesn't have the money for it after all.
Was kind of looking forward to that money to get mom and dad tickets to a Dodgers/Giants game, since dad is a huge Giants fan. He loves watching them spank the Dodgers. *snickers* Now I have to see if I can get a couple of more massages to make up for that. *sighs* Being broke sucks sometimes and other times it's great because you get inventive about cheap things to do. :lol:

Good luck arranging a few more massages. ^^ I don't usually mind not having a lot of money, as long as I have enough. Some months are a hassle to get through. >.>;;

Know that feeling. You're scraping by, just barely. With gas going up again, it could be that way for me. I commute 45 minutes to and from work everyday. It's a bitch and takes a lot of gas. Even though I have a better car, I can eat through a tank in 4-5 days.

It's hovering right around $3 a gallon right now. What happened to $2? I was good with that...rat bastard OPEC. They can kiss my ass. They are the only ones making money right now because they refuse to release more barrels of oil to give us the consumer some relief. Greedy pricks.

It's about $2.45/gallon here.
I want to see more research into alternative fuels... let's face it, corn is more or less an environmental bust.

Corn was never going to be the wave of the future, no matter how much corn farmers wanted it to be.
Hydrogen fuel, or something like that. Now that has potential.

Isn't there a third world country right now who's cars run almost entirely off sugar? I forget where, but their main crop is such so their scientists, who have far less available to them, have managed to come up with a way to run everything on the sweet stuff. It's quite funny when you think about how much more industrialized countries have and yet they were able to succeed where our scientists failed.
Actually, I may be wrong on it being a third world country. I think what I'm thinking of is Brazil, but regardless they are new to the industrialization and they're managing to make sugar work just fine for them. Though, I think there is somewhere else too...damn me and my inability to recall the entirety of something I am informed of in classes. D:

You think you have it bad? :XD
Our petrol/gas is costing us £1.04 per litre right now, which is aproximately £5 per gallon. :sweat: Which is aroun $8 US dollars per gallon. :lol:
It's a nightmare. *Jumps into convo*

@ Queen -Yep. Didn't take long for the corn craze to get old. I think electric cars are probably our best bet, at least for the time being.
@ Mnem - It's the same deal as the corn; they can turn sugar into ethanol. It works in Brazil because sugar prices are low, but it's too expensive in the U.S. (because of our agricultural subsidies).
@ Rosebleed - Ouch. xD

@Daria - Not really... >.<;; I've been doing a lot of work on other projects as of late, chiefly a college radio show and website work.
@JellyBean - THANKS! You're a doll. ^^
@aoi - Good to see you again, too!
And here's yer sugar cube solution: CANDY CORNS. To make eating pure sugar look normal. ;)
All three of you have awesome Halloween-eh avatars, by the way! I need to get my butt in gear on that front. >.>;;
