"No. I.. i don't want to loose it," she said.

"You won't lose it, You can control yourself. I belive in you"

Cassie looked at his arm then took it and carefully bit it then began drinking.

Duke took deep breaths and blocked out the pain.

You notice her eyes turn red for a moment but after a while they turned back and she released.

Duke held his arm. "Are you feeling any better?"

" yes much," she said. She got a bandage and patched up his arm.

Duke kissed Cassie on the lips. "I'm glad you're ok"

"I hope you will be," she said with a smile.

"I'll live" Duke smiled back. "What should be done with Adam?"

"What do you mean? i can handle feeding him. It doesn't drain me that much. I'll be fine and i don't want you letting me drink from you everyday. It isn't healthy for you.

"If you say so"

"Sow hat do you want to do? we can do anything you want," cassie said.

"Lets stay in today. Give the whole hunting the infected thing a break"

"Ok," she said with a smile and hugged him.

"Let's play with Adam, get him to socialize"

"oK. that is a good idea," she siad with a smile.

Duke took Adam out of his crib and placed him on the floor. He then encouraged Adam to crawl to him.

Cassie smile as she watched. "You can do it baby," cassie said.

Adam crawled towards them both. "Great job!" Duke said picking him up.

Cassie smiled. "Thats my boy," she said happily.

Adam looked over at Cassie. "Mom"

Her eyes went wide. "Thats right mom. can you say dad?" she asked.

Adam looked at Duke. There was apuzzled look on his face.

" come on adam you can do it. Say dad," she said.
