Yup. It also helps is to learn how to handle confrontation better.

That is also a vital skill which is in my experience being lost as companies continue to be afraid to confront employees.

Plus people are so defensive, that most people won't accept that they have done something wrong. I come across that a lot at work. I have a coworker that frequently messes up, but lies all the time once confronted. We all make mistakes sometimes. We're not perfect. Even Supervisors make mistakes.
