:/ I feel bad but I can't say anything about how they treat them without getting yelled out. I understand a pat when they are being bad but you are never suppose to whoop a child when you are angry. Everyone knows this. It is never a good thing. I personally don't agree with it but they think it is the only way to discipline them.

I remember the days my dad hit me with a cane.

Normally disciplining your child, you do it out of love because you want to teach them right from wrong. IF you do it out of anger, you sometimes loose control. <.< For example, getting locked out of the house by your friend's two year old and getting mad at the step daughter and getting on to her for not opening the door when the two year old locked it (That is what happened with my sister. Her friend had to get her out of the girls room cause it got so bad). Something that bugs me that my sister does is that she spanks her step daughter when she is crying. You can't make a child stop crying in seconds. It takes a while to calm down >.< I love my sister but she is worse than my mother was with us.
