Have you been on Mene long?

I've been active since the celes-whatever event, but I joined Mene about a year and a half ago.

And yes, I know I want too much. I'm currently just questing for the dove wings, tho. One thing at a time, ya know? lol

I'm trying to quest for the CIs and EIs since they grow in value, while just collecting commons on the side. I haven't made a lot of progress yet... x3 It's ok, tho. I haven't been at this too terribly long yet. I'll get more valuable items eventually. My original quest was for the v-day hairpin; I soon realized that it would take me an eternity, so I decided to go for lesser items. Start from the bottom, ya know. ^_^

Oh no. xD I don't know really. I've never been that ambitious. I don't really have any goals. (except to go to Disney land!)
But, there are lots of other ways to get into college. >w> Here, anyway. I'd only not be able to get into some courses like medicine, law and nursing, those kinds of things and i've never wanted to do those jobs either.
I just don't want to spend that much money on a degree that will trap me into a boring job that I shall never be able to escape from! o____o xD Nah, I just... have really no clue about what I want to do. D:

Actually, hardly anybody gets a job (and stays there) in the field in which they received a degree. xD So, if that's what's worrying you about college, don't let it. Srsly, people change jobs about 7 times over their lifetimes so there's nothing that has to be permanent. ^_^ Most employers just want you to have a degree; it doesn't necessarily matter what it's in.

Plus college is fun. You meet lots of people and make friends who generally have a better chance of staying with you as compared to friends from high school who tend to drift away and lose touch. And you don't have to know what you're going to do for the rest of your life. Most people think you have to choose a major and that's that. You have plenty of time to decide that while you're "discovering yourself" and figuring out who you are and what you really enjoy.

Sorry, I think I started to ramble a bit there. ^^; My husband is an academic adviser to undecided students at a nearby university, so I'm relatively familiar with what these people are stressing over and worried about. Not nearly as familiar with it as he is, of course, but a lot of it rubs off on me. ^_^

I also know about career changes and such... It's just that at the moment nothing much interests me. xD; Or more to the point my interests don't match my "skills". I'm just trying to think of some kind of job i'd like to do for a while.

My interests... Well, mythology, other cultures (past ones mainly? Old history is super cool, like the Spartans xD; ), manga/comics (purely cause I like reading things and the storylines seem to be more interesting than a fictional book i've been able to find. D: ), horror/thrillers (books and movies), video games.

Disney World is bigger. And in Florida. x3 hehe

Travel is definitely good. I love it. ^_^ It's so expensive these days, tho. D: Where all would you like to visit? I'd like to go to Ireland and England some day. ooo I'd also like to go on a Mediteranean cruise. *drools* You ever been on a cruise? They're so awesome. o_o

xD Yeah, it is.. I'll go to every single one then! xD I've never really been to a theme park either. xD; Since the state I live in is very small we don't have many attractions, even though I live in the middle of the city!

Yeah, it is. I don't mind though, i'd go backpacking. xD; I want to Hong Kong and Thailand, Japan (I'm really curious about the vending machines, and harajuku and shibuya.), I'd like to go around Europe too, like Germany, Switerland, Rome, Venice, England, Ireland... I also want to go to America to check out some of the really huge anime conventions they have there. xD;; Since they're probably more likely to get voice actors to go and such, since we really don't get any in Australia. Canada would be interesting too, so would India and Russian, and I can't forget South America, i'd really like to go to Mexico, Brazil and Chile (my relatives are all in Santiago! xD). I kinda want to go everywhere.

No, I haven't. I've never been out of the state I live in neither in a boat or plane. D: Although I have see huge cruise ships dock at the port. XD; They're sooo huge, it's amazing.
This year I did a course, passed and got a certificate to legally work a bar/serve alcohol a when i'm 18, the guy who was running the course said that since the food industry is in need of workers all over the world that if you chose the right time, getting a job at a local pub in different cities before 'peak times' would not be that difficult. xD He also mentioned that cruise ships would also be in need of such people.. xD So I think I may use this handy certificate when I decide to travel. >w>
