*pops in again*
@Wendy: LOL, I have to agree with you there. There really hasn't been anything good on the Disney channel for forever (except when they play real Disney movies or Halloween Town, lol). The cartoons I watched as a kid may have been violent, but at least there was usually some moral value to them instead of "slutty = good" and "if you're rich/popular/beautiful, you won't have to face consequences".
Umm, not gonna lie, I loved that Motorcrossed movie, or whatever it was from Disney Channel. It's not my usualy style, but I loved it for some weird reason...xD It's obviously not a disney movie, but a "disney channel original." Iduno, I'm obsessed with other channel nows, yet my little cousins love Hannah...it makes me sick, too. =/
@Ferra: I LOVE Halloweentown. @_@ Totally great movie. <333
@Brianna: Mmhmm; kind of the same reason why I haven't gotten a tablet yet; but my major will demand it soon enough, unfortunately. T_T Technology and changing of the times. . .
@Jesweet: I wish I could get rid of it. x_x; Comes in the cable package and I can't avoid having it. x_x I should make my TV program it out of the channel though; I wonder if I can do that. o_o;
Ah..talking about the disney movies/channel are we?
I normally can't stand it that much. I miss the old cartoons, Gargoyles, Chip 'n' Dale, Ducktales, Darkwing Duck, Pepper Ann *gods I remember this one so fondly haha*, and all those other disney cartoons back in the day. they were soo much better than what's out now.
:D I loved to watch pepper Ann! That show was so funny, Gargoyles was great too.
It's funny to hear you say it like it was so long ago XD Makes me feel really old! When I was little transformers and thundercats was just coming on, pepper Ann was ages after that.
The one thing Disney channel was good for was allowing my exchange student roommate to watch TV with "easy English". I guess the bad-acting where they enunciate everything pays off for someone. 8D
Unfortunately that meant I had to watch a lot of The Suite Life of Zach and Cody. *shoots self*
@aoi midori: I love Pepper Ann! At my parents' house they have a Toon Disney sort of channel that plays the good old cartoons sometimes. I must admit it's rather embarrassing to rewatch some of the old cartoons since you realize how bad some of the dialogue was.
wendy darling
maybe you can O__O
either way the faster it's gone the better.
Discovery channel and history channel are more my taste anyways xDD
/feels kinda nerdy
aoi
yesyes, most of the villains were funny scary, but gaston was like that creepy disturbing one blehck
Ferra
lol, the acting always did feel like they were forcing words to come out :9
@Immortal: I remember those old cartoons, too, but I remember even when they just showed the old Mickey Mouse / Donald / Goofy / Pluto cartoons.
@Ferra: LMAO. That's about right. HAHAHA. I'll have to remember that if I ever host an exchange student. And godddd, shows like Zach and Cody or whatever their names are are the WORST.
@Jesweet: I'm addicted to the Discovery Channel. XD It's like, the ONLY thing I watch when I'm not looking at a TLC special or my favorite Food Network shows or Animal Planet, but just for the rescuing animal shows. They all have similar documentary-styled shows though, and that's what I love.
Plus, I love Discovery Channel for Cash Cab. Ben Bailey is ABSOLUTELY incredibly hot. Unfortunately, married. D: I hate seeing that wedding band on his hand when he drives around, but UGH, still so wonderful. XD
@ Ferra, yeah, when I went back to watch thundercats awhile ago, I was thinking, "wow, this is terrible, why do I remember this being so awesome?" Hee hee, cartoons with bad acting, it's just wrong.
@Jesweet, they did a really good job making him smarmy and pathetic, the scene at the end where he was begging for his life. I was really surprised that they killed him off in a disney movie.

@aoi midori: It does kind of hurt to realize your memories are playing tricks on you. XD But it's also strange to go back and watch shows like Freakazoid, which contains a LOT of adult humor, and I wondered why I thought it was funny at all since those jokes would have gone over my head as a kid.
@Wendy: I've come to be able to tolerate it slightly since I did let out a slight chuckle one episode, but it was certainly not the result of the main protagonists. *wants to slap those little boys*
@Jesweet: Agreed. I caught a few old Gargoyle episodes and was a little bit mortified. XD It wasn't that bad compared to most, but the delivery for some of them is unintentionally hilarious.
OMgosh, I LOVE the USA Channel. NCIS is <3. I'm not a fan of that Hank Med show and some others, though. >.< And, ummm, Food Network is what I'm watching right now. It's FTW. <3 xD
I love NCIS. Burn Notice and Royal Pains are also pretty good. <3
Food Network can be pretty awesome. Especially Iron Chef and Alton Brown's show.
@Bri - Yes, I love that show! :D Burn notice is good, yeah!! =) I'm not a huge fan of Royal Pains, but I still end up watching it! xD maybe after more episodes I'll be a big fan!! =)
Omgosh, I think my laptop just arrived!!! BRB!! =D
NCIS is okay. . . a bit hokier than other crime scene shows like the CSIs that I like. I only really like CSI NY though. But there's a hottie actor on that show . . . Michael Weatherly? @_@ *Dies*
@aoi midori & briannamal: Lol, they were made by the same people, so that's to be expected. I picked up the first season for both on DVD and I really agree about the content. It's funny to think how much I missed when I was little yet was still entertained.
My mom used to watch them with us too, so I'm surprised she was fine with it. XD But she thought they were funny also.
CSI Miami is a bit hokey with trying to make David caruso hip (a cop with a hummer? Give me a break O.o ) but I like the CSI Las vegas and New York. Vegas is my favorite though, with Grisham.

I just can't get over how David Caruso puts on his sunglasses every time there's something dramatic. XD
