Wow... that's pretty interesting bones. I dream about random people that I know in real life. But mostly of my hubby. So you were sleeping in your dream :?:

I had like 4 differnt dreams last night but I only remember the last one. I was running an italian restaurant with my hubby. People were coming in ordering pizzas and big italian sandwiches and he was waiting tables. I made 4 huge sandwiches and the person that came to get it was someone that I worked with a while ago. He said that he loved the food. And then he left. I went to the back and had to change for some reason. Then I was in my bedroom trying to get my bra off and it was stuck so one of the girls that worked there was helping me and then my hubby walked in like :O and just stood there. I was like... "what?" and changed and went back out to work. Then I woke up. Weird. It's like... a guys fantasy dream. I don't get it...

I don't think I actually dreamed of sleeping... maybe when I went to sleep in dream, I woke up.

Lol! Does your husband remember his dreams? Maybe you're stealing his =D

I don't often have dreams of people I've lost touch with, but usually they feature a friend of mine or family member who becomes someone else later.

I know my mind will make random people I don't know turn out to be people that I do know later on in dreams. It would be really odd to sleep in a dream, or even more weird to dream in a dream. I've wondered if that's what it's like to be in a coma. Just stuck in the dream world.

My husband doesn't usually remember his dreams. Sometimes, but not very often at all. Poor him

If I knew anyone that was in a coma I would ask them. I don't knwo how many people there are that go inot comas and then come out of them. Probably a lot from car accidents and stuff but I still don't know them.

So.. what was the dream aboot??

yeah, people do come out of comas though.

its hard to explain. first off, I dream about bridges upon occasion, but not since I was in elementary I think. these briges are really really high up I just know they're dangerous and they often don't end of end in the middle of a canyon or something, but my dad would take us over the bridge anyways,

this dream was slightly different in that the bridge was kinda rectangular shaped. you have to drive up a vertical surface, and the lanes were wide, but there were no railings and empty space were between each one and this bridge led to nowhere. the contruction of it though was connecting dots and and lines like one of my projects got turned into a functional thing. anyways, I didn't want to drive up it because I mean, it looks like a sure way to die, but then its kinda like a camp and people are doing this for fun and I finally go on it too. It was kinda like a roller coaster and we're all in this large enclosed cab thing and it goes up this really high vertical wall then we're going over the bridge and not really looking out until he car goes over the edge like this is what it was supposed to do and of course it feels like fun and we're so high up it looks like I'm jumping from a plane and then we crash into water and do it again except the second time some real small kids get trapped in there too and they're scared to death.

oh, and I think there was a part when we're outside the 'bridge' and I'm trying to sneak past some people and I think I was more an adult. older you know.

I dream about mountains. Because mountain roads scare the crap outa me, and bridges. My step father's driving used to scare me when he drove in the mountains and he used to pretend like he was gonna throw me over a bridge or side of a ferry, just to make me scared. I'm scarred now. I hate driving in the mountains and often dream of flying through the railings into water below. :(

Your dream sounds like it was almost fun. Til it got near the end.

the other night i had a dream about one of my brothers... now he is 20 years old and he is taller then me, but when he was a kid, like 8 or 9 he was on ridlin and other such adhd drugs and didn't grow for years... anyhoo... i was still as old as i am now but he was his former little self and i woke him up by jumping on his bed... then we heard our parents coming so we pretended to be asleep... they didn't believe him but they believed i was even though i was in a ridiculous position with one leg in the air... when they left the room i got up to leave and he was crying his poor little head off and telling me not to leave... he clutched onto my leg saying that he didn't want me to go.... but i don't know where i was going... i had 2 shopping bags with me and the sky was orange as i left...

so weird... it made me cry though... maybe i just miss my little brother

Aww... i miss the good old days too. That's kinda sad Linn :( And an orange sky is just plain weird!

I know I had two dreams last night but I can't remember either of them for the life of me. :( One was really long and I was in a bunker or something like that and the other was a short dream. But then I got up... and started cleaning. And I can't remember them now T^T

it's so weird how when you first wake up you remember everything but the longer you are awake the more of the details you lose... it's such a a drag... yesterday i had a dream that was so vivid and crazy but by the time i made it to the bathroom it totally escaped me... :stare:

I think if you try to reember it early on, you can hang on to it longer. I remember some dreams from years ago. Even ones that I had as a kid. Maybe when you are a kid they stick to your brain more... Like some kinda green goop that just won't come off, even when you don't want it there. I guess when you have lots of other things to do, you mind kinda brushes them aside :(

i remember when I was little I used to have this nightmare where my father and I were walking down my porch steps, and he wanted me to carry this bucket for him. so I pick up this empty ice cream bucket and start down the stairs, but then I notice it is full of snakes, and I spend the whole dream carrying this bucket of snakes down the stairs, trying not to get bitten.

On a more pleasant note, I used to have LOTS of dreams about driving. And I didn't have a clue what
I was doing, and the breaks didn't work, but it wasn't scary, really. I just drove around a lot.

Most of the dreams I remember from my childhood could be considered nightmares. I'd rather not remember them either but oh well. I guess there is a certain amount of truth to your dreams. Like.. how I'd dream that my step-father was an evil monster... and he is. <.<

yeah I used to hate that dream, because I used to have it so often. Then one day i started thinking, what would happen if they did bite me? It was a dream, so I wouldn't die. So then I closed my eyes and kinda re-inacted the dream, but made up that a snake bit me and I turned into one, and after that everytime I had that dream i turned into a snake and it wasn't a nightmare any more.

I wouldn't be able to do something like this anymore, because i rarely know that I am dreaming. But when I was a kid i used always know when I was dreaming.

I used to dream that there were a lot of snakes in the woods that I used to live next to, when I was a kid. And they would always be chasing me out of there, a I'd run and run and run as fast as i could to get away, only to find that when I made it out my little sister was stuck in the woods and needed help ><

I dreamt about being chased by snakes and I ran up a tree to get away from them!!

okay, so my dream last night had a part about mene in it. it was a really really random dream, but part of it, we were playing football and at one point a grew wings...uh, anyways, keeping on track here. the field was like the size of 3 football fields and I could play even worse in my dream than I really could and anyways, I don't think we were playing real football. it was weird. but then some fairies with sparkly clothes or something came and I don't remember that part, but me and some other people hide from them and when we peek back out at the field, the fairies are gone to be replace by warrior pixies that killed all the other fairies and but the humans to work or killed them. I see Windbag (from mene) working in a mine or something and we're all horrified and want to know what happened to Jellysundae, but the pixies don't answer and we assume they killed her. yeah, there was a lot more randomness to the dream, but I just kinda skimmed through it.

I don't know if you'll all find this creepy... But I sure did.
Mostly cause it was a reoccurring dream.

My grandparents, on my fathers side, are relatively light hearted people, almost always making jokes and such...
And they had this really nice cabin far far out in the woods in Newfoundland.
(That's where they lived.)
In the dream...
I was one of my grandmothers friends, that was the weird part, just to let you know. xD
And she went to the bathroom, my grandmother, while the other girls continued to talk and drink their Lambs.
(To the younger, if you don't know what that is, good! To the older/mods: Please don't freak out or something cause I 1: Used a brand name. 2: May have caused someone to want to drink said beverage. 3: Mentioned said beverage on a family friendly (?) site. x: It's part of the story!)

When my grandmother returned from her bathroom break, and went to sit down, I pulled the chair out from under her, and she just laughed...
And all the other girls too...
Though no one but my grandmother managed to soil(?) themselves.

I used to get this dream alot when I was younger, right after they sold their cabin mostly...
But now that I'm older, and haven't seen them in so long, I rarely get it. (:

Honestly...
I miss the dream.

That is a kinda odd dream Jymphoni. I don't think that I have ever had anything like that as a dream. Not where I was someone else, except once. And its just really weird to be someone else in a dream. I don't think that there is any trouble in mentioning things like that  if there is then I'd be in a lot of trouble by now O_O

I dream myself as a different type of person, but not like a different role....(sister, friend) that's kinda weird. almost as weird as me dreaming about football and evil fairies.

Yes, almost as weird. Maybe all the hype about the Super Bowl today is getting to you,

So I woke up at 730 this morning and I couldn't remember my dream, again :gonk: This is getting really annoying! I need a new dream to chew on for a while. But what do I get, dreams that vanish as soon as I open my eyes. It's not fair. How am I supposed to entertain myself otherwise? :(

i heard that if you tell yourself over and over again before you go to bed to wake up after your dreams, then your body automatically will start to wake up... then you can write them down and post/analyze them later... i never tried it because i value my sleep too much to wake up over and over throughout the night :D

That's interesting. Like they say if you tell yourself to wake up at a certain time, you will. As long as your internal clock is right. But actually your sleep cycles are only about 45 mins to 110 minutes long anyway. And after that time you wake up naturally and turn over or something. Then you start a new sleep cycle again. That's why a nap should only be about 44 minutes long. It's the perfect length of time.
