Sorry for taking so long to reply, everyone. I took an unplanned trip to the hospital after having an extremely violent reaction to a new medication. The past few days have not been my favorite. So, as an answer to your question, Silenia, I am doing better. Still very ill, but I ammuch better.

On that note, I seemto be having a really bad streak of luck. Surely the average human is able to keep out of the hospital much more easily than me.

You'd think so. I wish you had done all of these trips to the hospital while you had insurance. :gonk:

Geez, tell me about it. Before wednesday evening, i already had racked up over 4k in medical bills. I don't really want to think about where this is going to lead me. T_T

Le sigh. That is so bleak to think about.

Ok, so you start your own quest on here. That is cool.

It has more to do with religious oppression and assimilation than it did with fear of the original purpose of the day. I would say that nowadays people are more likely to be uncomfortable with, at the very least, or afraid of the original purpose of the day but that would have to do with the change in how we live our day-to-day lives and deal with death in general.

Lack of a nickname does not equate lack of coolness. It simply means that you haven't done anything yet to earn a nickname or haven't shown enough of your personality to have one picked for you. It'll come with time.

So! I've linked you to a couple of charities and a safe place to hangout where you'll never be maliciously laughed at for any newbie related actions. Is there anything you're unsure of about Menewsha?

I do want to point out that they're fairly strict in enforcing the no spam or double posting rules because they want a higher quality for the posts made in this community.

Yes! But I would advise spending a couple weeks getting used to Menewsha before starting a quest. I personally believe it's silly to quest for things that you can buy in a store but that's obviously not the popular opinion here on Menewsha. I reserve my questing for the items that are more expensive or difficult to obtain like the Contribution Items (CIs) or the Event Items (EIs).

If you do decide you want to quest for a specific item, outfit or item set, let me know and I'd be happy to help you put together a quest thread! I love doing the formatting for quest threads. :XD

I just remembered a nick name I had a few years ago and thought about changin it to that. Hmmm guess I will check with you later on that.

I think you misunderstand me - there's a difference between a username and a nickname. My user name is Scribbled Lore but my nickname is Scribbled or S.L. depending on who is talking to me. Your username is just fine but we haven't come up with a nickname for you yet - a way to shorten or simplify or whatever your username. But, yes, there is a way to change your username if you really wanted to.

No, it wasn't storming when the power went out. The part of town CZ's parents live in loses electricity a lot. It's not uncommon for it to happen a couple of times a week, especially during the summer.

That's a bummer to lose power that often. It happens here from time to time but the only serious time we have lost it was back in February. Was sitting in a nice warm house, had the lights flicker a few times, lost power, heard a loud boom, and saw a lovely yet scary light show right out our door. Come to find out that the snow and ice we received during the day and at that time caused the power transformers to blow up from the one in front of our house to about a mile down the road. -.-

Oh! That's scary!

I remember in high school one time a raccoon got into the power transformer and ended up killing itself and killed the power for half of town. Bad jokes for the next six months at school.
