"Rather us than Mythnos." Arilla commented. "Daiki... I'm going to need to stop soon. I'm beginning to feel a little light headed." Under normal circumstances, Arilla was the picture of health- however, when the weather became bleak and grey like it was, she began to fall ill from the lack of warmth and light and the excess dampness. Some mighty leader I am. The first sign of rain and I'm as weak as any human...

(Yeah that's fine with me so long as you're able to keep up. :D)

Satetsu considered the options for a moment. "Well our main goal was to gain some information on the Saga group, although with Terrace there is a chance we could very well learn a few things from him indirectly. We could also learn things about the griffin himself in case it's needed such as a turning on us sort of thing" she said quietly as she still weighed the options. "On the other hand there's a chance he could recognize us and possibly out of spite could very well tell the Saga members who we are and where our true loyalties lie. So really it comes down to how much of a risk we want to take" she said with a slight shrug. Personally she felt that it would be best to simply approach the group, but at the same time they could very well find things out about either the group or even the griffin himself just in case it was needed.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Daiki nodded his head in understanding. He was quite aware of the effects of gloomy weather had on Arilla. "Alright I believe the tree over there would be the best bet. The grove is still a little ways down the road, but if you feel light headed we should indeed rest for a few moments" the Raiju said with a glint of worry in her eyes and underlying tone. He calmly offered his arm, in case she needed it to use as a guide from the light headedness. His ears twitched as another roll of thunder passed overhead.

Normally, Arilla would have been embarrassed to show weakness in front of Saga's followers- after all, she was supposed to be their leader; a pillar of strength and whatnot. But at the moment, she felt more like a small child who was taking sick for the first time than a great leader, and reminded herself she could feel embarrassed about how quickly she latched onto Daiki's offered arm once the storm was over. "I'd rather just get there now. If we stop here, I may not get back up again until the weather's better." She admitted.

Daiki calmly patted the hand that latched onto his arm in reassurance. "Although you may not exactly like it I could very well carry you if it's needed. The decision of course is yours however you shouldn't push yourself too far nor your body too hard while it's in the condition it is now. You and I both know that it could and probably will get slightly worse as the storm fully comes" the Raiju suggested calmly. A gust of wind chose to pick up, bringing the smell of immanent rain that would be falling soon, and playing with the thunder beast's hair and tail causing both to flow and sway gently on the breeze. Another flash of lightning streaked across the sky, lighting the darkening surrounds of the ground due to the dark clouds above as well as briefly lighting the crimson eyes that were full now of excitement.

Daiki was right- Arilla didn't like the idea of needing to be carried. "I'll make it, don't worry." She assured him, though she didn't let go of his arm. Arilla wasn't sure what was wrong with her- normally, she wasn't affected so terribly by storms. The stress of the confrontation with Terrace and of finding more support for Saga must have been getting to her more than she'd thought.

Daiki raised a questioning eyebrow. The Raiju knew fairly well that the weather shouldn't have been affecting the phoenix quite as much as it was right now. As he walked he kept his arm out for her to keep a hold of as his crimson eyes remained trained on Arilla. "We'll see. I will say although you're technically the leader if you're health does continue to decline the way it is I may be forced to take measures you may not be entirely fond of" he said with a sigh, referring that if her condition worsens in his opinion he would not hesitate to pick her up and carry her the rest of the way.

Jake was really excited but he managed to keep it in, so he walked up to Arilla and Daiki "can i help?" he said looking worried about the phoenix's health "i will do anything to help. anything" he said looking at Daiki "can't you make the storm go away?" he asked thinking he could, since he was a thunder beast

Daiki sighed as his crimson eyes looked to the sky. "Possibly, though not as I am now. I'd probably have to transcend the clouds and speak with Fujin, Raijin and Sukuna since the storm as a whole would technically be under their control since they are the ones in the Heavens that preside over wind, lightning and thunder, and rain. Although I could probably handle the thunder and lightning myself and might be able to converse with them on the ground, although again I'd have to revert..." the Raiju said with another sigh, although the last sentence was a bit quieter and directed more to himself. Even as he spoke of ridding the storm his ears slowly began to droop and flatten. He didn't really like messing with the storms of the gods, although if he was the one that had created the storm himself he wouldn't have minded whisking it away for another time, but in the end he too would leave that up to Arilla.

His crimson eyes soon left the storm and came to rest on the Phoenix. "However I'll only really do it, if that is what you'd want. After all we've also two others to consider" he said quietly as he was subtly referring to the fact that both a hybrid and normal human male were now among the group.

Arilla sighed as she seemed to have gained sympathy from the younger werepyre. "Thank you for the offer, Jake, but I doubt you can do anything. And I already told you, Daiki, I'm fine. I don't need you to do anything drastic, I'll just wait out the storm." She assured him- it wasn't hard to notice his sudden depression when he spoke of the other gods. "I'm afraid you'd have to ask Vanille and Acelin how they feel on the matter, however. I'm sure a little water won't bother either of them."

Daiki gently nodded his head in understanding. "Alright, though as I've also said if your condition becomes too serious then I won't hesitate to take whatever measures are necessary. After all without you we'd all be rather lost chasing our tails, or fins or whatever everyone has" he said with an attempt at a playful chuckle. He then turned his attention back towards Aceline and Vanille. "Would either of you prefer the on coming storm to...well not come?" he asked rubbing the back of his head as he attempted to find the words of his question. His lion ears still chose to remain flat on his head, though again it was merely at the thought of the storm possibly being sent away. After all as a Raiju a good lightning storm was something he always looked forward to, since it was perhaps the only time the thunder beast would openly allow himself to play freely rather than being the calm reserved being he had always made himself to be.

Acelin elbowed Vanille harshly in the side. She immediately knew what he was trying to say. She hissed a little then her friend raised an eyebrow and she just sighed. "I don't care if you make the storm go away... but of course I could quite possibly make shelter for us here... I can move the trees and protect us from the oncoming rain... if you would like." Her voice rang out sounding distant and light. Acelin smiled broadly as though he was the one who would be moving the trees out of the way.

Aaralyn chuckled and did a bit of a mock-bow, sweeping her arm in front of her grandly as she smirked up at Terrace. "Well then, I might as well let you stretch. Unless you call for my help, I shall just observe for now." Said the banshee, straightening and smiling at Terrace. As they entered the clearing with the altered beings, Aaralyn's ice blue eyes scanned them, her lips turned into a rather playful smirk. "Well, children. Play nice." She said, lifting her hand and waggling her fingers at them as she leapt back and up to a tree, where she landed and sat on the lowest tree branch. Aaralyn had an easy view of the small clearing, and she held onto the branch she was sitting on with her hands, and crossed her ankles as her legs dangled down. She was quite anxious to see what the griffin could do.

The griffin smiled maliciously as the banshee retreated to her high perch for the moment. Then stretching his arms out to reveal the length of his wingspan he straightened out all of his fingers and after a moment they began to move in an erratic fashion until they became elongated steel like talons. He smiled revealing a mouth full of lion like fangs and his back began to bulge until a strong and broad pair of golden brown wings showed as he flapped them a few times as if to stretch them as well. Then cracking his neck he looked out at the large group of altereds still retaining that same malicious smile as they all seemed to be relaxed and prepared for the fight that had come to them. He noticed however that the one that had dragon blood in him seemed to be at the back prepared to watch. Taking this into account Terrace figured that he was the leader of the group and probably the strongest so it would be fun saving him for last.

There was a light wind blowing thanks to the storm that had been brewing since early this morning and the griffin planned to make the most of this. Knowing how he wanted to fight this battle he called out, "I see the imitations are paralyzed to see such a beast of glory before them. I will try my best to make your deaths quick and painful." Hearing that three of them immediately lunged at the griffin and without any effort he cleaved the first altered's head smooth off of its shoulder. The next was impaled and thrown through a tree across the clearing while the last managed to get a few swings in before his heart was snatched from his chest. Taking a bite of the still beating heart, Terrace smiled with blood seeping down his lips before calling out, "Maybe we should try this again."

Pressing his arms together above his head and his talons so that they would resemble the tip of an arrow or spear, the griffin leapt into the air and folded his wings around his body and began to spin at a high speed as he dived right for the middle of the group. Seeing his rapid advance the altereds scattered as the leader watched with a blank look on his face unflinching. As he came down, the spiral he created had such velocity it gave off a howling sound and when he crashed into the ground the impact was tremendous. A few of the altereds who were too close were launched backwards or possibly even knocked unconscious from large chunks of debris. When the smoke finally cleared it revealed the griffin standing in a crater the size of a small lake and almost completely filling the clearing.

Tenshi nodded to herself, weighing her options thoroughly.
"Lets just go to the Saga and get it over with shall we?" She asked. She wanted to get somewhere soon, but she had the strangest feeling she was being watched. She shrugged off the idea and kept walking, occasionally putting a jump to her step at times.

Satetsu gently nodded her head in agreement and soon followed after Tenshi. She elected to have her eyes downcast although her head was raised, just in case they did wander upon someone else that would call for her to use her false shy personality. It wasn't long though before she paused again as the faint scent of blood soon intermingled with the air. "It seems someone's having some rather violent fun" she said with a quietly pleased giggle. She always preferred the smell of altered blood being spilled as opposed to the stench of the altereds themselves.

Tenshi had noticed this soon after Satetsu had stated this fact,"I see, but it's no fun unless I get to do it myself." She sighed and pushed her hair from her face.
"Are they nearby? I would like to meet them." She smiled sadistically and laughed to herself as DeMo rested himself on her head.
"Sometimes, I wonder what goes through that griffin's head." This was true, though Tenshi didn't think of him as very pleasant, he seemed extremely violent and hard-headed at times in her opinion.

Satetsu again nodded her head in agreement. "That is true. It's indeed far more fun to be apart of it rather than sense another doing" the sphinx said with a sigh. At the second question she once more raised her nose slightly and worked on shifting through the various scents in the air. It took her a bit more time to get a clear sense of where the Saga group was from the scent of blood in the air but she finally go it. "They should only be about a hundred and fifty yards that way if my math is correct" she replied quietly as she pointed in the direction they were heading. "As for the griffin I'm sure many things run through his head, though I'm guessing at the moment whatever it is, it's pertaining to fighting and killing. Though that's merely a guess" she said with a small shrug of her shoulders.

Aaralyn watched, the smirk remaining on her face. Her ice blue eyes widened slightly, lighting up in excitement at seeing Terrace fight the altered creatures. She scooted herself quickly towards the trunk of the tree as one was thrown back right where she was previously sitting. She rolled her eyes as she looked over her shoulder at the altered whom was thrown so far. Altered with a bit of harpy, considering the bird traits that he had. Aaralyn just shrugged and looked back over at Terrace, paying attention to him as he created a lovely crator in the ground. "Hm... Quite impressive, considering that he's not using his full strength." She mumbled, smirking down at Terrace.

Aaralyn's eyes then widened in slight surprise when she heard rustling behind her. She spun around to see an injured yet angry altered harpy glaring at her. He screeched and lunged at her, his bird-like tallons aimed right at her throat. Her eyes narrowed in anger and annoyance. "So much for just observing." Aaralyn muttered. She gabbed onto the branch she was sitting on and swung down, moving and swinging her body back up and kicking the altered harpy right in the stomache back over into the clearing, where he landed near Terrace. Aaralyn swung her body back up and landed to sit back on the branch, looking either bored or annoyed. Probably a bit of both.

Terrace was enjoying himself although he was simply warming up for the main fight right now. As he used his senses to reach out he noticed that he had killed about a third of them off in the past minute that they had been fighting so he figured he was doing alright on time even though he was trying to take it slow. As the dust finally cleared the griffin found himself surrounded by five of the remaining eight. Which actually wiped the smile from his face. There was a gargoyle, griffin, basilisk, nue, and gorgon all with very pissed off looks on their faces.

All lunging at him at once there was only one thing the griffin could do... he summoned up a powerful gust of wind to launch them backwards then he lunged after griffin imitator. The fake rebounded quickly and then attempted to fight Terrace at close range and he managed to scratch the griffin on his left cheek before he was cut down. The nue was next and it was not surprising that it was more advanced in close combat and to the griffins delight they were joined by the gargoyle. Fighting the both of them actually made him fight a little more seriously until he snatched off the nue's arm and impaled him with it. Then he managed to maneuver himself around to the back of the gargoyle when he grabbed it by the neck and a leg then bent him over backwards folding him like napkin and snapping his spine. Left with only the gorgon and basilisk, Terrace knew that he would have to keep a distance between them to avoid being poisoned or possible turned to stone. So as he closed in on them and they made their way towards him he stopped once they were about ten feet from each other and unleashed a loud skull rattling scream that paralyzed the two reptilian creatures. He then dashed forward grabbing both of them by the face and crushed their heads together like two melons as their brain residue leaked onto his talons.

Dropping them to the floor lazily and licking his dirtied claws clean he looked over at the remaining two... a dragon and a unicorn. It had actually been quite a while since he had made contact with either of the actually mythical beings of their types but they were both very powerful indeed. The unicorn had a shining and very deadly looking horn on its head which would probably intimidate many other altereds or humans for that matter but the griffin stood there with a blank look now on his face. The games had been fun but it was time to end this as he was ready to relax again so slowly he began to walk towards the final two altereds left from their large group of thirteen.

Aaralyn just simply watched now. She didn't even bat an eye at all the carnage going on in the clearing below her, caused by the one she chose to ally herself with at the moment. She swatted away a piece of skull in mid-air with her hand as it sailed toward her due to Terrace crushing two altered's heads together. Aaralyn wasn't too fond of blood, definately not nearly as fond of it as the griffin seemed. Her own methods of killing caused very little blood unless she went a bit overboard, and that only happened if something made her incredibly mad. The banshee watched with a rather blank look on her face as Terrace squared off between a unicorn altered and a dragon altered. Two very powerful creatures themselves, but these were altered, and hardly compared to the real thing, even though these two were obviously quite strong considering what they were.

Debating whether or not to reveal his true form, the griffin was actually quite bored. There was a group of thirteen altereds and they produced almost zero resistance to him in the end so he was disappointed in them. There was no way the last two would survive but they seemed almost certain from the look in their eyes that they would. The dragon finally moved to stand next to his last surviving partner as if to say he was ready to make a stand. He figured that the dragon and unicorn were lovers or something by the way that their body language responded with one another's and it almost made him sick. He hated altereds and hated anything that they shared between one another so it was time to end this.

Terrace watched on as the dragon filled his lungs with oxygen obviously to blow fire at the griffin and he simply folded his wings over the front of his body. Finally after a few moments the abomination released his flame and the griffin stood there lazily waiting for the flame to halt. The flame was powerful for an altered but it was no where near the intensity of a real dragon's flame. When the fire ceased and the griffin opened his wings the unicorn had been waiting and she had her horn aimed at his heart. But to her surprise he grabbed her by the horn and picked her up and slammed her to the ground. On the impact of hitting the ground her horn was snapped off and he launched it between the the eyes of the stunned dragon. Looking down at the almost lifeless unicorn with no apparent emotion on his face, Terrace raised his foot and brought it down on her neck crushing it. Finally finished with the assault he walked out of the large crater he had created and retracted his wings and talons reverting back to his usual look. The he smiled lightly at Aaralyn and called out, "Entertaining enough?"

Tenshi cocked her head a bit. "I see, and so we meet our allies!" She sang happily as she skipped to where the Saga group were stationed. Tenshi put her book away, she had memorized most of the spells anyway. Then she waved at DeMo, who turned around and flew back to them.

The droning of machinery served as background music. Brown eyes scaled the the tiny screen before him, with a heavy sigh. He hated extraneous fighting--it was such a waste of valuable time and energy. And really, he might as well be spooning with his recent beloved rather than watch as Terrace decimate a group of Altereds.
Oh, wait a second. But she looked perfectly adorable what with those....aww, man..The naga had spied someone that was fairly attractive. Possible fodder for his gene pool. Until his boss had slain them. On one hand, he didn't mind this. If they didn't stand up against Mythnos very well like that, then they probably weren't worth his time.
Balarama Laxman was one of the main, if not THE authority of technology in Mythnos. He was a passive creature, preferring to ruin his enemies through mind more than combat.
"Hey, you guys," he called into the video transmitter; on his end, it was a screen with some buttons. But for anyone on the other end, this was a carefully-placed object within the ear. "Balarama called out. "Let me know when you're done. I got a plan you might be interested in."

Hearing the earpiece in his ear activate after being silent for a quite a few days Terrace smiled then called back with a somewhat irritated voice, "I see someone finally decided they wanted to make their presence known. You know it's quite difficult to track beings on senses alone." Taking a deep sigh he finished in his usual majestic voice, "I'm done, so what's going on?" As the smoke finally cleared he looked up to the tree where his attractive young partner seemed to be awaiting him, he was sure she had no idea he had an earpiece in his ear but she would find out soon enough. He walked out of the crater slowly and made his way over to Aaralyn hoping that she had been somewhat entertained with him for the moment. He was however a tad bit disappointed that he hadn't come out unscathed as he had planned to but that was because of his over confidence. Terrace decided he would need to work on that.

"Oh, it's not as though I've been away. You know I'm only but two words from an answer," Bala chuckled,"None of you have been doing anything to interest me. I had to break the silence somehow while I was with my lovelies. I'd rather everyone be at rest when I mention this. Makes for better retention, boss-man." He tapped his bald head; more out of instinct. No one would be able to see him from the ear pieces, of course. He was just one of those people that gestured when he talked.
Business before pleasure. If they keep this up, I won't have any for myself.
"Unless, you'd like to hear in the detail what I did while I was away from you. You should take more care in your social plumage, you know! I can help you with that!" There was a smirk on his face. Whenever he filled the airwaves, he'd ramble about his so-called love life as a defense. "But, yes, be a good lad and have them sit down for what I have to say?"
