"I'll have to ask dad about that, he never really gave me the details about when he met you. Sam will have to meet him eventually, since he's my dad and all." Fate said, waving as Chaos left the little pocket dimension garden. "If you're curious as to what that's called, we can ask Chaos on our way out.I can't remember it's name.. I don't remember a whole ton about back then, sudden deaths erase some memory, and some of it you can't get back. Luckily it's just little stuff I lost I'm sure, like names of dishes."

“yah I am going to have to learn how to make it, its really good.” He held out a fork full of it for fate to try. “I am glad you have not forgotten any thing important.”

Fate tried the dish and was pleasantly surprised. "It's very good. I think I might have had it at least once..I'm glad too.Well, I forgot big things like some of my childhood, but everyone does that." He chuckled. "You want to try a bit of mine?It's very good." He said, offering a forkful of his turnover, making sure he got a bit of everything in it.

taking a bite of the turnover he smiled. "oh that is good too. do you think he would teach me how to cook it?" sam seemed really happy that they were having a good meal.

"Possibly. If not I'm sure you could find out how to make that, I'm sure the recipe is online somewhere, or in a cookbook somewhere if you prefer that." Grim said, smiling as he continued on eating his breakfast happily, pleased that Sam seemed so joyful.

"actually I would love to learn from him but if he is going to live for a very long time then I wont need to worry about learning now. we could always just find him latter. maybe he could come to the afterlife?" Sam asked hopefully.

"Maybe..I'm not sure what his powers are, other than the obvious shapeshifting..And pocket dimension creating.I don't know a lot about him..Father might, or someone more higher up on the ladder like Osiris..I can never get ahold of Ra." He laughed. 'You are both good chefs, but there's something different about yours. Maybe it's how in love I am with you, makes it even better."

"Maybe it is just that I like to cook in small sets so I know better how to make it work that small and he is still used to making big meals." Sam smiled then blushed slightly. " or maybe it is because I am putting love into all my cooking."

"I wasn't going to accuse him of not putting love into his cooking, but you could be right." Fate chuckled. "Don't let me take all the love you need for cooking, then I'll feel bad." He teased, lightly sticking his tongue out at Sam in a playful manner.

finishing off his food, Sam smiled. "the more I love you the better my cooking will be I Think."

"Is that so." Fate said, also finishing his meal up. "Maybe when you're cooking for me.If you were to cook for say any guests we have over in the afterlife I'd bet you couldn't do it because you've got all your skills focused towards me."

"that's not true, I would be able to cook for you and a guest just as well as I can cook for you along. you think that just because a guest is added that I am hampered?" Sam looked slightly unhappy with what Fate had said. "I think it is time to go and tell my boss that I am leaving him."

"I didn't mean it like that, I meant as in becuase you're a better cook due to how much you love me that you wouldn't cook as well for a guest, because you don't love them.I didn't mean to offend you." He kissed Sam's cheek. "Good idea.If we take about a half hour to an hour there then spend a max of a few hours with your mum, then Anubis should be plenty awake by then."

“if I am cooking for you even with a guest I will be able to cook the same way as I could with just you.” standing up sam blushed and walked away from the table. “I have to say thank you for the meal to Chaos.”

"Again, I'm sorry if I offended you, I did not intend it to be an insult in any way." Fate said, standing. "Of course.After you, dear." He smiled and gently kissed Sam's cheek.

“No you did not offended me.” Sam smiled and blushed. Reaching out he gently touched the scars on Fates face. “I will love to spend time with you.”

"Good, I was afraid I had offended you with my comments.." He blushed deeply when his scars were so gently touched. "I will love it too..Neevr before have I been so happy with a mission..And I never will be happy like this again with anyone else."

“But you will not have to worry about losing me to death.” Sam smiled cutely then blushed. He walked out of the room and then bowed to Chaos. “Thank you for the great food. I would some time like to learn how to make the food you have made for me, if it would not be too much trouble for you.”
“Some time I will be able to teach you, if you die before I have the time we may be able to get you the training latter, just as long as you can come back here to earth.”

"True.We will be together for eternity." Fate grinned happily, and kissed Sam before following him back into the kitchen.

"We may be able to figure something out for one of you to visit the other.If Sam decides to become like me, well, it won't be a problem at all for him to return." Fate smiled. "Thank you very much for the meal."

smiling Chaos held out a box to them. "dont forget this, you will be wanting it later." a knowing smile blossomed on chaos' lips as he tured back to what he was cooking. "and there will be a when we will get together again, people do not just fall into and out of others lives without a reason."

Sam smiled and took the box. "thank you for the great breakfast. some time we will have to come back again." Sam blushed.

"Even if he does not become what I am, I'm sure I can arrage a meeting between you two so he can learn from you, Chaos..For now, we must be going.A month is a lot shorter of a time when you think about it..We're going to see Anubis.He's mentioned you before, such a small world." Fate said, waving goodbye to Chaos as he walked out with Sam, smiling the entire way.He was quite pleased with how the morning was going, first a wonderful breakfast and now a no doubt amusing show between Sam and his boss.

"enjoy." Chaos smiled then hurryed off to stop a disaster that was going to start if he did not do something.

"Time to face the beast." slowly waking out the door sam sighed and ducked his head as every one in the main restraint looked at them.

Fate just smiled and held hands with Sam as they walked out of the restaurant, letting Sam lead the way to their next destination.He knew where Sam worked exactly, pretty much had the address memorized, but he was trying to NOT be creepy in the eyes of Sam, not seem like a stalker.

Catching the bus to his work Sam paid for both of them without even thinking about it. Finding a seat Sam fell into his usual rut.

Fate sat beside Sam and gently leaned his head on the other man's shoulder. "Don't look that way..this is the last time you'll have to take this bus, this is that last time you'll ever have to see this place ever again..So smile."
