Ahh. Yeah, I'd say that's true. Just to an extent. I left out は because I didn't need to emphasize "today." But the verb ending I used isn't casual.
For casual I think the ending would be 買った.
Well I know D.N. Angel, Fruits Basket, and Ouran High School Host Club are very good
See, this is where I think my taste differs from a lot of people. I liked Fruits Baskets & D.N. Angel well enough back when I was in high school, but their stories and characters really get on my nerves now.
Fruits Basket, for example, has the girl that is so impossibly good/cute but clumsy who all the guys around her fall in love with as the main character. In high school I could go for those stories, but they irk me a lot now. From what I've heard about Ouran Host Club, it sounds similar but at least funnier.
That isn't to say there's anything wrong with those stories. I'm just not a fan of them now.
Ouran I think only 2 of em fall for the main (dont quote me on that) far less than expected
The main host though... gosh he's so dense it's hilarious XD
Yeah, even back then I liked the side characters way more than the main ones. I don't know why I've become so intolerant of "bad" characters now. Maybe it's just because I have less free time to spend so I've become more critical about what shows I choose to watch.
Hello! I recently made an account for this forum. I'm half Japanese and half American (German) and have been living in Japan for a number of years, but I don't think my Japanese is very good yet (sometimes while speaking I use weird Japanese). I don't know difficult words, and I cannot read most Kanji (the kanji I know are up to the ones fourth-year elementary school kids learn). Also, there are lots of times in which I forget words.
Now I am learning Chinese at school. At the school I'm attending, Japanese is offered, but because I've already taken AP Japanese during my Freshman year, I cannot take Japanese. At first, I did not want to take Chinese, but after I took it I slowly started to think that it was interesting.
Although I like watching Japanese variety shows, I don't watch very much Japanese television nowadays. Sometimes I will watch Gaki no Tsukai on the internet. Have you heard about this show? It is so funny that it will make you laugh so hard to the point of making your stomach hurt. The New Year's Eve specials are the most funny.
I only have a little interest in anime. The anime I watch recently are mostly old and not very popular outside of Japan (for example, Initial D and Space Adventure Cobra).
With that said... Nice to meet you all! (Sorry about it getting so long.)
The translation is not super accurate, but you'll get the gist of it. Also, my Japanese may be a little strange here and there.
Thanks to knowing chinese characters, I am able to read that post. You are half? Must grown into a very beautiful person. XD
Why do you think that having able to live in Japan for a few years and yet have the same level with elementary students? Won't it be more proficient normally?
我是个华人,时常使用华语。知道其他人在学华语的时候,我好高兴呢。
以后多多指教了~
I am a Chinese, use chinese a lot. I am happy to hear that other people are learning Chinese too.
Nice to meet you.
I just notice, that dictionary is not perfect.
The dictionary I have is a Chinese x Japanese dual language type, at Chinese section the word narau is not listed. Under the Chinese 'learn' meaning are manabu and benkyou only.
