Parent teacher night! Well more like meet the teacher. XD We both don't want to go to school but meh. It's kinda a thing. Plus I bug her about if she ends up being a teacher she'll have too. XD

Sept. 25th:Disney Movie

Right now my favorite Animation movie is Strange Magic by LucasArts. I think my fanaticism is made worse by the fact that both my sister and I are super into it. So it's like sister bonding to fan girl. XD The Critics said it was a flop, but I have that for a lot of my favorite movies for whatever reason. I guess I'm not your average movie goer. *shrugs*

I think because it was released around a couple other blockbusters that it didn't do well that way. The previews I saw in theaters also sucked too. Maybe I'm just a sucker for a pale Evil guy, that isn't really evil once you get to know them. XD

Sept. 26th&27th: The Thing I would Change, The Price of Freedom.

On Saturday I took Lilith to her orientation meeting. It was an all day kind of thing. I picked her up and bought her some dinner. We chatted for a while. A pretty good day.

Chris Came over later and took me to see a friend of ours for his birthday. We had a few beers and talked about Horror Movies and Scifi. A few of he people there were new to me. One of which was a bit awkward because he was over stimulated by me liking Horror and scifi. He kept looking for excuses to touch me while his wife kept looking down and away from the conversation. Probably not feeling to good about about her hubby saying things like "I wish she liked horror." "You don't look like you like this stuff" blah blah w/e

She was obviously uncomfortable so I tried changing topics numerous times but Chris not being the most observant of what was really going on kept bring up a different movie. Which this guy would try and act out on me. Now, I don't normally let people touch me, let alone those I just meet. So I was thrown off guard immediately by this guy holding me from behind like some slasher flick.(Not my style of horror)

I get kinda attacky when I feel vulnerable like that. I also couldn't take watching her trying to ignore her buttheads hubby's actions. Finally I was like, "Didn't your wife say you were going to a different party tonight? Maybe you should both go before you put your lil pocket knife near me again."

Her face changed completely from looking down and away to HUGE wicked grin of relief and was like "Yes! We better get going or we'll be late." We all did the nice meeting you hand shake she whispered thanks as she came in for mine.

Men are so oblivious. XD I like her. :) quite often Chris will talk over me so I feel her feels on the being alone in a crowd. I added her but not him to fb. XD Kinda childish of me maybe? I dunno.

Sept. 28th: Is ignorance an Excuse?

To a point. If you don't know something how can you be expected to ask accordingly. However, for example when it's you job to know what's going on around you and make predictions on that then no it's not.

Sunday night was the Blood Moon. It was SO beautiful. To bad the pictures I see of it around never do it justice. I got a whole bunch of new set pieces in Diablo3. I finished my first Set and started work on the next one. I've been MMO hoping with Chris this weekend. GW2, WoW, D3 and STO. XD Mostly just checking up on different things. All of them are kinda set for having an expansion soon. To be honest I don't know If I'm interested in keeping half of them.

Sept. 29th: Scars

I have a few. My most visible is across my nose. My glasses cover it well enough for me not to think about it. I have another one on my middle right hand. When I was really little I couldn't sleep and tried to go to sleep like sleeping beauty. I can't remember what it was I put my finger on but I remember alot of blood.

I probably have more than that but I don't really remember them right now.

Sept. 30th: Happily Ever After

I just started "watching" The TV series Once. Trying to like it but not really feeling it. It's probably for the best otherwise it would pull me from other things. I like the idea behind it. Of being fairytale people reborn. Just so far everyone is set in their ways from the previous life which isn't really how it works. So its hard to suspend belief.

Oct. 1st: Leaves in the Wind

Ahhh It's here! Finally! October is here! Mauhahahaaha! Crunchy leaves and pumpkin Spice all the things. <3 Hoping to get a few more fires in before the snowfalls.

Why is the sound of crunching leaves so soothing after a day's work? I really enjoyed my walk today. I'm feeling triumphant and peaceful.

Oct. 2nd: Seasonal Scents

Lot's of good things happened today. Lilith is on honor roll! She has a cool certificate with a shiny gold seal on it. She also got a letter of recommendation from one of her teachers that she didn't ask for snuck in the envelope it was sent home in. O.O If I had a Car I'd so buy one of those annoying bumper stickers.

As for scents, I think I've established my Pumpkin Spice love however I also love Cinnamon Apple, and the smell of bonfires. I have candles of both Pumpkins and Cinni apple pie. Hehe.

Oct. 3rd: Candles

My mom and I share this drawer of seasonal Candles. Some are for burning while others are just to look pretty around the house. We change them out at time goes on. Is it strange to have candles with no intention of using them? It's like their divine purpose of giving light will never be meet. XD But yes. Lot's of colours shapes and sizes. Oh and scents too.

Woke up early today. Been getting a good head start on the things I want to do. Did some art planing and writing in my day book. Also did a few Mene related things. Feeling accomplished and it's only a bit past 10AM SO RARE!

Oct. 4th &5th: Fall Fashion/Favorite teacher

Fall fashion is pretty much the nly fashion I ever enjoy. I like sweaters and boots. ~
I spent the majority of my weekend making tape houses for a duct tape costume. I got the bracers done and the shell of the chest piece for Chris. I only got half the skirt on mine done. >.< I think during the week I'll be doing a row a day. That way I'll still be making progress on it while still hopefully being able to get some other art things done. Chris helped a bit but I had to fix some of the stuff he helped with. >.< Bright side I'll be able to use this for next October's updates.

Oct. 7th your worst hair

Gasp! My hair is always wonderful! No not really. I mean it's long but not much else to say about it. I've never really had a style. Just up in a lazy bun or ponytail. Gotta keep my hair up and under a hair net at work. Mostly I leave it down at home.

However with that said. I was a child of the 80s. I was nominated as a child to go on a long distance trip to the capital to be in a parade as a Patrol Captain. I was around eight or nine and it worked out that it was only student in our hotel room. Basically sleepover antic ensued and all sorts of horrible make-up styles and hair spray styles happened. I've always had really long hair and well we teased and sprayed the heck out of it.

I think it was like midnight before we got all of our fun removed. XD We weren't allowed make-up for the parade, not that any of us were going to go out looking like we did. Oh gosh was it fun.

Well That was an interesting day. Our opener was sick and one of the night crew was in. Normally a recipe for disaster. Lucky for us we got one of the people that's been around longer than the summer. It was nice chatting with someone I don't see often because of the shift change. We have a hello, goodbye thing. Turns out she's into all manner of geekery too. :D Yay for finding out new things about people.

• Couldn't find my apron today. No clue where it went either.
• More art after work today. I didn't get much done yesterday because I fell asleep.

Oct. 9th Sammich Time

Lately I just want soup. All the soup! XD It's so nice after a long walk to have a cup of soup. I think some pea soup later for me. :D Except I ended up having pirogi for dinner. Chris bought some from a fundraising thing last week and he just brought em' over here and started cooking. Free food I don't have to cook? I approve. XD Maybe its because I've been working on his costume all week instead of concentrating on my art as usual. Yay for supporting each other.

I pulled out four different dressed so far and I just don't know which I fricken want to go with. >.< Plus with anything I choose I'll have to shave. Yes I'm THAT lazy. In winter I don't care so much about if I do or not but it's still fall. It's going to be SO much fun though. :D Can't wait to wish my friends well and see what kind of social prizes they have there. I'm really hoping to win the convention package because it's the only way I'll be going to Comic con this year.

Oct. 10th My 10 favorite EI's

We have nearly 300 EI's on Menewsha (not including our NPC, specials or Auctioneer or MIs) Narrowing it down to only ten will be a bit of a feat in itself. So I'm not going to bother ranking these at all. Just list them in no particular order.

• YOLO! LuLZ!. . . MOMMY T.T - The introduction of the "Thin" and "thick" fog was revolutionary to the way people addressed their avatars bg. Without the huge success of this EI I doubt we would have seen some of our most recent cash shop items involving lighting effects. These two poses alone made this highly sought after. To top it of this EI has some beautiful fall leaves sweep by the wind I'm fond of as well as a gorgeous creepy woods bg.
• Valentines 2007 set - The symbols of Menewshan wealth. Very popular in 2010, now it almost seems tabu to be seen wearing such extravagantly expensive items. I've been fortunate enough to win most of this set or earn it threw art. With prices ranging from 150-350K for one item. I'm so glad that phase of my quest is over.
• Cobblestones in winter - A classic winter's bg. The cobblestones used to be a major go to for me. I just liked the idea of my avatar having a little base to stand on.
• Crystal Cavern - I really like how the large crystals layer together. Really pretty colours. I also have always love the idea of caverns with large crystal formations ever since I was a girl.
• Magical Mysteries - A fun mix of random Halloween items. The skull, "Batty" shoulders and up turned teeth are my favorite poses from it.

Oct. 11th I would invent

Hmm some kind of cleaning robot...that isn't creepy as hell. The rumba is kind of one of those, but it only vacuums. Dusting and other stuff needs attention too. XD

I woke up around 11 today. My head hurts SO bad. Lilith Just handed me a paper about a field trip. They're going to play a GPS game and eat at a cool "on the bridge" Restaurant. $10.00 for the price plus $20.00 ish for Lunch. Good thing I took out extra last night for the social. Sounds fun.

I have the rest of the day to myself. Lilith went to her grandma's for dinner and Chris went to his grandpa's. Thanks Giving all alone and hung over. . . yay. I think I'm going to have some pea soup.

Oct. 13th I'm Skeptical

The amount of voters voting early is higher than it's ever been. At the same time as the youth vote being up as well. People REALLY don't like this guy. I'm voting but I feel like we're voting for an Obama like candidate after a Bush like ruiner. I also think that even if the part we want get in they're STILL going to be easily bought because people are people.

So While I remain skeptical that anything will actually change after this election I'm also hopeful. After the Liberal or NDP gets in and nothing changes my generation will prove that voting doesn't change anything because there is money in politics and people are weak to bribes.

If the same shit is pulled with a regime change it means it's time to bring out Madame Guillotine and take our country back from the bankers.

Oct. 14th My Favorite Pie

Apple Cinnamon (with lot's or cinnamon), Strawberry Rhubarb and Pumpkin (with lots of spices) are my three favorites. A lot of the time I find store bought pie doesn't have enough snap to them. I keep meaning to try adding ginger to my apple pies. I feel like it would be a yummy mix but always forget when I make them. Now I feel like making pie...dangit! XD

I had a strange dream last night about being in my sisters work place and then calling mine because I had a "family emergency" and had to work her shift. Instead of kids toys the store had like "Halloween" Costumes but they were more like bondage gear.
While I was talking to my manager on the phone someone kept insisting I gave them a demonstration. But I couldn't see them they were just behind me and kept pushing me away from the cash register. I fell threw the floor and there was a bunch of bright blue light all around and I was alone instead of on a crowded sales floor.

• My ear is stinging.
• Saving up goldies for Halloween stuff. :D

Oct. 16th My Boss

She's pretty awesome actually. She always finds a way to deal with peoples shift problems and likes to joke with us. She doesn't hide in the office like some would. When we're busy shes with us working just as hard. Everyone loves her. The Day staff in general takes care of each other. We're like sisters.

Oct. 17th The News

Went with my mom, Lilith and Chris to a Gem and Healing show. Found a few nice pieces and got some christmas gifts. Lilith was in heaven. Weaving threw the crowd and looking threw all the specimens. She found a "Break it yourself" Geode that what shaped like a drum stick so she picked that one. XD

After a few hours of walking around we went for some Chinese food. A pretty awesome day. I didn't get any of the work done that I wanted. So I still have my costume to work on. I also fell asleep for like 3 hours when we got home and wasted a bunch of time..yay. T.T

Oct. 18th Cartoons

Yes, I love cartoons. Some of my more recent obsessions are Seven Universe and Strange Magic. Both do female character awesomely. I like when women are both strong and feminine. Sometimes I feel like you have to be one or the other but, really there is no reason you can't be both. That's why my favorites are Jem and the Holograms, She-ra Princess of Power, Thunder cats, and Sailor Moon. <3

So Lilith hasn't been working on her costume like she said she would. I have a feeling this Friday We'll be working on it. "together" oh well.

Oct. 19th Missing Menewshans

VENO! I miss that girl. Also surprisingly CloudDreamer. Also Jiggly to name only a few. There are a few people I remember more by they're Kinsaki names that used to hang here. A lot of people I tend to miss are people I've butt heads with, It's my personality to bark at people I care about for some reason. Veno however is one that I've always found so easy to be around. We have similar likes so it makes things smooth.

I had a pretty busy and fun weekend. :) I went to a Rock and geode show and spent all day looking around. I only bought one thing, and I had no idea what it was when I bought it. It gave off this energy I connected with. It was made of a Dark green stone and it has bits of color threw it. After some research I found out it Fluorite.

Not very exciting on it's own but when you delve into "spiritual" or angelic meaning for this particular shade of dark green it aligns with my birth window AND is actually relevant to something that's happened in my life recently. It cleanses and opens your heart chakra, so you can trust again. Mine had a bit of mistrust thrust into it at a wedding social. The fact that it aligned to my B-day was strange enough to be interesting but the healing stuff was a HUGE bonus.

It's also associated with wind, being a fire element I hope this will fan my natural creative and proactive Ares energies. :D

. . .I'm way to jazzed about this rock XD but it's SO cool! XD I love synchronicity.

• Lilith's School photo FINALLY came in! And they're awesome <3 one of her best years yet.

Oct. 20th-21st Looks Great! Candy time!?

Tried getting some stuff done today. Nope. XD Well actually I did a few things. Just some loose ends are harder to tie than others, specifically when others are waiting to undo your shit or run away with the other end.

That new CI though. I'm a HUGE fan of new skins. This one has an interesting twisted quality to it. I also like the strange placement of the horns. :D
